Really good value for money 2 bedroom villa with pool and outdoor kitchen. Absolutely beautifully maintained tropical garden oasis. Great for couples. Would be a perfect honeymoon venue.

It was a lovely great value for money 2 bedroom villa. The steps are a bit steep though. There is a drop off from the varandah to the garden so just be aware this may be a safety issue for young children or people with physical disabilities. Also, this may be obvious, but as it's a pool villa, children need to be supervised at all times.

Beautiful villa and pool. We also loved the location. Very quiet but still a few decent restaurants a few minutes’ of walk away, and numerous options on the main road.

Second bedroom was only accessible via external stairs which wasn’t ideal with young kids.

loved our time here, the villa was a tropical haven and even included a hidden away little temple. loved loved loved the outdoor bathroom. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the buggy was fun. it’s not really walkable to the center of Ubud due to the lack of sidewalks but we rented scooters and that was also squarely but at least a lot quicker! as others have said plenty of restaurants close by (try the nachos at the Mexican, yum!)

only minus was that the upstairs and downstairs bedroom are only connected by outdoor stairs. one of my kids found it a bit scary to be away from us like that.

the villa had a beautiful private pool set in lush surroundings. both bedrooms had air con and four poster beds which were very comfortable. The semi outdoor bathrooms were a real treat. The property was in a great location, within walking distance of Ubud town but with a great selection of small bars, cafes and restaurants only a short stroll away down really interesting lanes. Communication with staff (Wayan) was both prompt and informative. Balon, one of the Pondok Naya staff members, was especially helpful and welcoming. He was happy to be contacted at any time of the day or evening to arrange breakfasts or meals to be ordered to the villa or to drive us to whatever locations in Bali we wished to visit. The other staff were very polite and courteous and our villa was cleaned exceptionally well every day while we were out. The accommodation was set in a really peaceful location and we couldn’t have wished for a more enjoyable stay. We would most definitely return to Pondok Naya and recommend this property to anyone visiting Ubud!! Top Tip: Definitely arrange a massage with Sari Laba Traditional Massage - very very good!

We stayed in Ubud for 4 nights out of a 3 week trip and this was our favourite hotel overall. We communciated with the villa prior to arrival and Balon kindly picked us up from the airport and even stopped at a cash point on the way to the villa. We arrived late and you get dropped at the main road, where a buggy will be waiting for you who will take you down a private quiet road to your villa which is in the middle of ricefields! The location is perfect, so quiet and the staff couldn't be friendlier. On arrival you are welcomed with coconut water and are given a small phone to contact the staff whenever you want picking up/dropping off to the main road. The buggy service is only until 10pm but not a problem at all because the private road is very safe and takes about 10 mins to walk to the main road if you need to. The room itself included a comfy bed with mosquito net, a lovely bathroom and small kitchen. Directly outside the bungalow villa was a nice pool which you can use at any time of the day and some loungers which is lovely to just look at the stars in the evening. The villas also work with a local warung who we ordered breakfast from one morning and was delicious. We also got a couples massage from the leaflet provided by the villa and they came to our villa which is highly recommended (£10 each for an hour deep tissue massage). I would highly highly recommend this place, we would go back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful accommodation, the villa is spacious and clean. The pool is amazing! Everyone from the staff are very friendly and helpful. (you can order at the villa - everything from food to spa massages). The location is not far from Downtown Ubud - 20 minutes walking and we enjoyed the silence as the villa is situated away from all the main streets noises. Near Pondok Naya are a lot of good cafes and restaurants. We definitely recommend Pondok Naya as we had a wonderful stay.

Room: The villa was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was modern and well-equipped with high-quality toiletries. Amenities: Pondok Naya offers a variety of amenities that enhance the stay, including a lovely outdoor pool, a serene garden area, and a comfortable common lounge. You have access to semi private garden and pool, it was shared with the two other villas which wasn't a problem. Service: The service at Pondok Naya was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests. Housekeeping kept the villa spotless, and the overall service was impeccable. Dining: While there is no on-site restaurant, the nearby dining options are easily accessible. The staff provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants and cafes. Transportation: The villa's location does present a minor inconvenience regarding accessibility. Although a free buggy service is provided, it needs to be called in advance and may not always be available if assisting other guests. This can be a bit of a drawback, especially during peak times. Value for Money: Considering the luxurious accommodations, excellent service, and serene setting, Pondok Naya offers good value for money. It was very clean, each Day came the Villaservice to change the towels and make everything clean. Villa is not in Ubud Centrum what is very big advantage. We are very happy.

We stayed in both the standard bungalow and the private pool bungalow, and we strongly recommend everyone to choose the private pool bungalow. The bathroom in the standard bungalow is in need of a significant upgrade. Also, keep in mind that the bathrooms are not fully enclosed and have open roofs, allowing insects to drop by and say hello. The staff is really friendly!

Enjoyed our 8 night stay at Pondok Naya. The villa was spacious and well equipped. Loved that The room upstairs offered views of the nearby paddy fields. The staff were always very helpful and always ready to help. We would recommend Pondok Naya to anyone looking for accommodation in the ubud area.

There was no car access to the villa. However, not a major issue ... they provide buggy transport to and from the drop off and pick up point.....which was also an experience in itself :-)
