If you're visiting Sorrento, Casa Ela is the only place to stay. Hosted by the incredibly kind & accommodating Paola, you will feel welcomed and at home. Providing everything you need, with charming views of the rooftops & town centre, your stay is bound to be wonderful. Paola provides yoghurt, sweets & snacks, and allows you to use her washing machine at no extra charge (very helpful for those travelling with a tight luggage allowance!). Located in the centre of town, right next to the main street and a 10 minute walk from the Marina, the location couldn't be better. Can not recommend more!

Paola was an awesome host! The room had a nice balcony, hot water, and a nice shower. Even though it was a little small, the extra common room made up for it. There was a large refrigerator in the common room as well as a washer (had to dry clothes outside, but that was fine), a breakfast area, a microwave and stove to heat things up or cook. Paolo was very helpful and very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazingl stay at Casa Ela. It is located right in the heart of the historic district of town, close to many very good restaurants, taverns, cafés and shops and some gorgeous views. It is a five minute walk to Piazza Vitorria with it’s breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea surrounded by mountains. A further five minute walk and you are sitting at one of the restaurants overlooking the sea, mountains and Vesuvius, enjoying locally caught and wonderfully prepared sea food. A five minute walk in the opposite direction is the main shopping and a few steps beyond that you are in a quiet neighborhood of people who live in the old walled part of the city. We loved our stay in Sorrento so much we cancelled plans to travel to another location and were fortunate to be able to extend our stay at Casa Ela. We needed to change rooms however and this allowed us to try both of Paola’s comfortable rooms. Unit 1 (queen size bed) has a balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the street in front of the building from 4 floors up. It’s a great place to see the comings and goings on the popular street below while almost no one can see you! Unit 2 (twin beds) has windows to the back and side of the building with neighborhood views of the buildings surrounding courtyard below filled with lovely lemon and orange trees. Beds are great in both rooms and we loved having a chance to enjoy both views! The windows with black out screens are very soundproof so you don’t hear any street noises when they are closed. The set up with a shared common kitchen/dining area worked well. Paola has made sure there is every kind of coffee and coffee maker available as well as tea and sugar and there is a full-sized refrigerator for guests to share, each having their own shelf. The washing machine and outdoor clothesline were much appreciated. Paola is a thoughtful, sensitive and caring host and very enjoyable to talk with. Her restaurant recommendations were terrific.

Everything was terrific!

It was the most perfect location!! It was spotless and we actually declined cleaning a few days. Paola is the absolute sweetest and will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect! I loved her and her kindness and thoughtfulness will stay in my heart forever. She made our stay unforgettable and the best that it could be!! The space was perfect and the washing machine was a saving grace as it was hot while we were there and we needed to wash clothes earlier than we anticipated! You will not be disappointed in choosing this space, it’s close to EVERYTHING!!!!

There is nothing we could find fault in at all!!

Everything was very clean. It really made it comfortable that we could use the kitchen and the washing machine. Paola was very kind and attentive and I really like that there was a small basket with small breakfast items separate from the breakfast which was included, yoghurts and water as well as coffee. Very nice location and comfortable room.

The elevator of the building was a little scary for me. But nothing else. I really liked everything in the property.

Just loved our stay in Casa Ela. Wonderful location in the heart of the historic centre. So close to everything, walking distance to ferry & train. Our host family shared their favourite places with us. Thank you Paola & Dario! Great kitchen with extra snacks & great expresso! We also loved the laundry facilities including the complimentary soap and close-line pins! Having a balcony overlooking a pedestrian street was wonderful! Great room with modern bathroom! We definitely want to return.

Super location in the heart of historic Sorrento. It's in a apartment building. It was part of a larger apartment -- the owner, Paola, lives in the other part. Paola is a sweet and accommodating host. A very comfortable set-up with two rooms (each with in-suite bath), sharing a large kitchen. There was no one in the other room, so for us it was very spacious and comfortable. It would be perfect for two couples traveling together. Well-stocked kitchen for preparing simple meals.

Had a wonderful experience at Casa Ela. I stayed for two nights while exploring Sorento and this place was perfectly located. The host was very attentive and made sure I had everything needed and provided many recommendations in the area. The facilities were neat and tidy and breakfast was provided at a local cafe.

The AC took a long time to cool the room, but it worked, I just had to be patient.

This was my best stay in all of Italy 🇮🇹 which I've been touring for a week now. The owners Paula and her son Dario are so kind and warm. They explained all places of interest with gusto. These are people who definitely have a passion for what they are doing. The property itself is impeccable and in the center of sorrento. The place is clean spacious and all amenities were provided as listed. Paula was so kind enough to treat us to pastries during my stay. Will definitely stay here when I visit again and give a big recommendation to all booking this place.

The apartment was really well located on the 4th floor (with a lift) in central old town. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, so the kitchen is a shared space but each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony. Paola, the host, lives next door and is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend!
