Perfect location in the heart of the old town. The facilities were excellent and decor lovely. We really appreciated the complimentary toiletries and bar and personal touches. The staff were welcoming and helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. A perfect week!

Initially, it was difficult to find Accademia 39 because the taxi was unable to drop us to the door outside, but this was completely understandable because of its location, set in the narrow streets of the old town.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful boutique B&B. Location is excellent - heart of the old town but on a quiet street. Breakfast offered a generous variety of options and served in a picturesque outdoor area. Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Cannot think of any negative aspects.

The Accademia 39 is so artsy and cool. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and easily accommodated our two large bags. It had a radio so we could listen to the local Italian pop music scene!The staff was kind and helpful and available for all our needs. It is conveniently located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, cafes and markets. We loved our stay in Sorrento at the Accademia 39!

There was nothing we didn’t like about our stay here!

Staff were excellent. Very comfortable and the location was great. Needed documents printed from time to time and they were efficient. They made a small error when we arrived giving us the wrong room initially. Wasn't a big thing but gave us a complimentary bottle of prosecco for the minor inconvenience.

Small things. Breakfast was good. But very pastry heavy. As its a guesthouse I imagine they can't make hot food ahead, so when we did ask for eggs, they obliged. Also didn't have an iron, rather we had to use a steamer, which I'm hopeless with. So an iron would have been good to have on hand.

We liked the terrace for eating breakfast and hanging out in the evening. The breakfast every morning was great and Nadia and Mavi were the perfect hosts. We really liked the vibe of the place; the decorating and the extra spaces to hang out in besides your room. The location was perfect as it was within walking distance to all of the great restaurants and the ferries.

We didn't like leaving.

The personal aspect with John n Anna made it special plus all the extra touches I needed almond milk was my husbands b day decaf coffee for me etc . The bed is extremely comfortable and black out shutters and great shower beautiful patio to enjoy breakfast or wine later Romantic views of the narrow lanes and quiet for sleeping close to everything great dining steps away

It’s very compact wish we had a bit more room Would be nice if they left cake of the day which is out for breakfast in the evening so we could enjoy coffe and desert

the furnishings were excellent- incredibly artistic and fun and yet brilliantly hospitable. The common areas were very inviting and lovely to be in. The rooms also had some lovely art and furniture. It was a pleasure to be in them. Fresh water, beer, soft drinks were replenished each day and were included in the price of the B&b. Breakfast was a fabulous start to the day in the private lemon scented outdoor terrace (it was like a botanical garden!). I absolutely highly recommend this property- I wish my entire trip was in Sorrento so I could stay here longer.

it was all amazing.

The location is superb! It is in an area a taxi can’t make it, but that tells you everything. A mostly pedestrian street in the middle of the shops and restaurants. The furnishings and art are stunning. The entire place is so well designed. The charm and character of the space is in tact and gorgeous. We could see the sea from our room. We were surprised by how quiet it is, too! Pro-tip: the elevator is tight, send luggage up with one person. It’s a quick flight of stairs up.

Everything was perfectly delightful. The great location, the design and decor inviting and the staff, I cannot express how much we appreciated the service the staff provided. There was not a want that went unmet. I will return soon and stay again and again!

Nothing! There was not 1 issue or negative experience, everything was better than I imagined.

The location was just PERFECT! everything about Accademia 39 was impeccable. From the decor inside the main lobby, the beautiful terrace overlooking the city and mountains and the rooms. Also, the breakfast was by far the best, waking up and walking on the terrace you get served almost anything you like for breakfast which was great. The location was right in the middle of everything. There are shops, restaurants all nearby including the water which is only one block away. Next time we are in Sorrento we will definitely stay here.
