The hotel served breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30. The breakfast room staff were very pleasant and the service was exceptional. Breakfast offers hot and cold selections from the menu card as well as full continental and various hams and cheeses, fruits and cereals. It is by far the best breakfast I have had in any hotel. Well worth the extra supplement. My room was well proportioned and the hotel cleaning staff offer a free drink card every morning that you do not require room service. I thought this was a very good idea (and reward) for tourists doing their part for conservation of water and cleaning supplies etc.

The hotel furniture is a little jaded, including the room furniture. Some lounge chairs and bedroom hairs need replacing. The hotel is a 15 min-20 min walk from the main "action" in Santiago de Compostela and nothing close by, so you do need to walk or taxi into that area if you want an evening in town. After a long day walking it would have been nice to have something (Bar or restaurant) closer to hotel. However the hotel does offer fine dining and bar services in the evening.

The staff were really helpful and friendly and spoke great English, and service was exceptional at front desk, in rooms and in the restaurant. The room was clean and had all the expected facilities - good-size room and bathroom, safe, minibar, coffee machine and kettle. The hotel is spacious, modern and clean. Breakfast was wonderful, with many options offered. Although the hotel isn't in exactly the old historic centre of Santiago, it's a pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre, so good exercise. It's actually in a nice area, less touristy, and across the road from a park and the Theatre/Auditorium and also close to the Natural History Museum. If you want to take a taxi, taxies come to the hotel very quickly. Nice pool and reasonable gym faclities.

The dinner menu seemed pricey, and though there were cheaper food options offered at the lounge-bar, these were limited and also quite expensive. With all the space the hotel has, it would be nice to have the option of a simple, reasonably-priced buffet supper or cafe with simple pasta dishes.

The hotel is rather large but in spite of the size, the attention we received from staff was very personable and very friendly. We had some issues with the room size we initially booked and the hotel was able to upgrade us to a suite at a reasonable additional cost. The overall grounds are very well kept and the overall facilities is what one would expect from a five star hotel. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and very plentiful. We used room service on a number of occasions and it was prompt and quite good in variety and quality. I would indeed recommend NH Collection for anyone planning to spend time in Santiago.

Our only complaint- had nothing to do with the Hotel per se, the topography was somewhat a strain on our legs when we ventured out. The uphill climbs will be a challenge for those who are less athletically inclined.

I liked just about everything about it. The staff were amazing. The mini croissants were delicious. I liked the indoor pool and my friends liked the outdoor one.

The Turkish Bath wasn't working the first day and the sauna wasn't switched on the 2nd day. I didn't have a treatment My friend was unimpressed with her pedicure - and 3 other friends said the massage area was more like an operating theatre than a treatment room. Not a scented candle lighting nor a picture on the wall. We expected more from a spa perspective but everything else was super

Rooms are large, mattresses are comfy and good for a deserved rest. Toilet has bidet which is something outstanding. The access from the parking to the lobby makes it easy to access and safe to park your car. Breakfast has a large variety of options priced reasonably at 20 euros / person. The hotel is placed next to the auditorium and if you walk along the park you will reach the core of Santiago Compostela downtown. The staff is experienced and highly professional.

Though the design is great, the equipment shows it has aged a bit. And you can check that looking at tbe tables and chairs at breakfast. Breakfast is great as you can see the groups cheering each other as they conclude the St James Way.

Beds comfortable, free car parking near hotel, swimming pool had potential.

Thought the hotel was expensive for the service we received.Felt the staff would benefit from customer service training especially the bar staff who I felt came across as arrogant and unhelpful. The bedroom floors were dirty, as was the swimming pool which had a tide mark round the pool with the floors and windows cills covered in dust, walked from pool to the lounger my feet got filthy. We asked for a dressing gown and slippers to go to the pool and the receptionist made such a deal about it being sent to the room etc we told them not to worry about it as itseem too much trouble for them.

The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. Breakfast was good enough. You could reach the cathedral and the city center in just 15 minutes. There is a public parking area around the hotel, and the hotel also offers private parking at an additional cost. This hotel has a two swimming pools, one outdoor and one indoor with no additional cost.

As a 5-star hotel, I expected a little more. The room was old-fashioned; the air conditioning was central. The swimming pool was okay, though the indoor pool was not very clean, with water dripping from the ceiling into the pool.

The location of the hotel is good if you are travelling by car. You don't have to drive through the narrow streets of the old town, and can stay out of that traffic madness. Once there and the car is parked, it is easy to walk everywhere. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room for 2 adults with 2 large suitcases and 2 smaller cases. The bed is really comfortable and the bathroom nice and big. The staff were all lovely - very patient and helpful with every question we had.

I think the car parking is a bit expensive.

We couldn't fault our three night stay at this hotel. We stayed here 9 years ago after completing a Camino and wondered if the accommodation was still of a high standard. Our Junior Suite did not disappoint. The room was fresh and refined and impeccably maintained. Loved the robes and towels and comfortable oversized bed!! Staff were professional - breakfast was of an exceptionally high standard and room service dinner, very good. We enjoyed using the bar downstairs. The access to the cathedral is through lovely green space and about a 10 minute walk.

Excellent modern hotel, very friendly and helpful staff and in a great location 15mins walk to the Cathedral Square. Free car parking on site as long as you don't use the hotels underground car park. Very good breakfast but quite expensive at 20+ Euros. Good facilities including small gym and small internal and external pools. Nice bar area plus a good restaurant.

Some small issues with the room. Coffee machine leaked and the wardrobe door wouldn't close (design, too heavy for the runners)
