Fabulous pool and hot pools, lovely and helpful staff, clean rooms and comfortable bed

The cost for the pools could be a bit lower for people paying for accommodation. It wasn't very clear that it wasn't included in the cost of the accommodation and added a substantial cost to our stay, especially as my child wanted to go everyday and go on the slides.

Amazing Location, very friendly staff, despite being very busy, always answered questions with a smile! I forgot to get the young lady's name who checked us in, she was amazing!

We were in Chalet 6B, would be nice to have a verandah to dry clothes etc. No option inside the chalet as well. There should be a limit on # of people allowed for the pools... it was crammed...not really as relaxing as the photos depict!

The whole resort is great. Perfect for the kids and the facilities were clean and tidy. Will definitely book again.

Original booking was for 2 nights, then i booked an extra night for the day before and was made aware that they couldnt guarantee the same room. That was fine. We checked out of 1 room by 10am after the first night and asked if it was possible to check in earlier to the next room seeing as we were already there. They said they would try, and they would text me when the room was ready for us. No text - and at 14.10pm (check in was at 14.00) I went to reception to ask if the room was ready, only to be told 'Yes, its been ready for a while'. Pretty annoying when we were waiting around most of the day with young kids. Staff were friendly, but I felt like they could have better accommodated us in that situation.

The chalets were simple and comfortable and had everything we needed

The parking space near the chalet was quite tight for an SUV. This wasn’t a great issue we just let people out before parking the car but the foliage prevented people from easily exiting the vehicle. The outside furniture on the deck was also a bit grotty with old cigarette, water and food stains. Also not a massive issue but we had buy wet wipes to wipe the furniture down as the chalet only had the one kitchen cloth.

Great spot, our room was right near all the facilities. Great to be able to use the hot pools on site. Shower and toilet facilities spacious and clean. And really great that you can swap for fresh/dry towels at reception if you use your towel at the pool. Nice that some kitchen facilities are within the room.

We thought the shared kitchen was fully equipped, however we struggled to make our meal as there was very little equipment, no knives, other than the cutlery which we had from the equipment in our room. Although there may have been more available from reception, we hadn't checked out the kitchen facilities before reception had shut. Although I'm not sure if this was in the accommodation description somewhere, as I noticed other people had brought their own pans and equipment. The only other thing that would have been useful would have been a change machine to use the washing machines, again if we were more organised and had thought of it before reception shut, no doubt they would have been able to help.

Great place for kids. Our unit had everything we needed. The weekend staff at checkin were lovely after a long drive. Loved the convenience of the warm pools being close and group discount prices. Location was great. Beds were super comfy.

It would be great to have a vac or broom in the room to clean because staying with kids means crumbs were plentiful. There was a funny smell when we first entered the unit - kinda musty, so I got some room spray. The couches/carpet may be due for a shampoo and the kitchen lino a good scrub (dark ring around the edges).

The beds were very comfortable, the showers were lovely and hot, the cabin was spacious and the air conditioning was very welcome. The cafetiere and well stocked tea and coffee selection was a lovely addition. Showers in the shared amenities were spacious and hot.The park is very well maintained.

The kitchenware is sparse, there are no communal BBQ implements that I could see, I needed to ask for a pot and a kitchen knife but I think it was an oversight that they weren't there in the first place, this was rectified easily and quickly. So my tip is if you need something, ask at reception they will do their best to help you.

Clean & modern, comfortable , the unisex showers & loos all very modern fresh & spotlessly clean

Radio in loos & showers was very loud in day time. I like & play very loud music nothing against it, but generally don’t like it blasting at me while on the loo or taking a shower 🚿 it was turned down at night which was great. The pools were, messy & scruffy, & packed solid very crowded , due to renovations, couldn’t find ladies changing rooms - turned out 2 plastic shed ms with a few plastic chairs. Pool staff didn’t offer any help to guests wandering around trying to find loos & changing rooms. Just gathered in a group chatting.

Loved the double glazing in the room - very cozy at night. Spacious. All we needed was provided for dining/ cooking gear, good supply of hot drink selection and towel service were superb. Cleanliness was good and I’m super fussy in that aspect. Loved the proximity to pools and spa, Hilton Hotel restaurant, other attractions and Taupō township.

The room was excellent but the privacy was not so great. Other cabins looked directly into #5 and closing curtains was the only option. The adjoining room was also VERY NOISY. We heard parents screaming at kids and kids jumping on beds and crashing around in their kitchen. That was a bit disappointing. Check aircon regularly…it smelt weird.

Lack of towels We brought a 3 day pass one evening but didn't realise that it was based on per date rather than per 24 hours. i.e Thursday evening till Sunday evening.
