This is effortlessly the best lodge in Vic Falls! I have never stayed in an accommodation where not only the staff, but also the owners looked so well after us that I left with a feeling of leaving behind new friends when we went back home. My partner and I arrived for my secret engagement surprise and the lodge supported me in every aspect of planning the best day / vacation ever. I had many questions which they answered patiently, also they surprised us with a really special brekkie after engagement which was probably not easy to shop for taking the situation in Zim into consideration. Generally speaking, the food was outstanding, facilities were spotless squeaky clean and modern and the staff was super engaged and made us feel loved. A big thank you to Phil, Mornette, Ross and Holly - you did an amazing job opening and running the lodge and we miss you a lot!

Lovely family run small hotel. The rooms are not large but modern, well designed and functional. I loved the design of this 3-year new hotel with little pods of rooms surrounding the main facilities of restaurant, lounge and pool. Extremely comfortable beds and the rooms have a bit of modern oriental flair. Buffet breakfast with a wide variety of hot a la carte options. Dinner must be pre-booked and its a set daily menu. Both delicious. The staff are amazing and very helpful organizing everything. We squeezed in a lot with just a one night stay. I had the helicopter ride, sunset cruise and especially enjoyed the visit to the falls for sunrise.

Wish I could have enjoyed a dip in the small pool, but it was winter weather.

Everything. Interesting architecture, beautifully decorated and maintained complex and room, calm and peaceful, a comfortable room with absolutely everything included in it, good meal options for any time of day, wonderful staff - cheerful, efficient, professional and helpful. Adam in the reception area organises everything you might want to do - bookings for restaurants, taxis, experiences around Vic Falls. Phil, the owner, is so friendly and personable. He interacts with every guest, finds out your interests, makes suggestions about what to see and do, and makes you feel so welcome. We felt rather sad to leave after 5 relaxing days.

There is nothing we didn’t like.

So much we liked about this property. We prefer the smaller accommodation where staff address you by name and the staff were particularly outstanding at this lodge in their care of guests. The rooms were modern, very well appointed with comfortable beds, powerful showers, good internet and A/C. Toiletries provided, pool towels, kettle, French press, tea, coffee, biscuits. One appreciated touch was the chilled drinking water machine in the main area to fill your personal water bottles. Housekeeping staff also filled both the kettle and flask in the room when cleaning. Fabulous a la carte breakfast included in room price with several hot options.A pre booked evening meal also on offer. Delicious 3 course dinner at $25 per head. We ate out locally and on a dinner cruise, but enjoyed this evening meal 3 or 4 nights and always enjoyed. The owner Phil makes a point of speaking to each guest during their stay which is a nice touch. We felt very welcome. Everywhere was spotless.

From the moment we arrived at Pamarah Lodge, situated in the heart of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, we were completely impressed. This family-run gem is a testament to the passion and care of its owners, Phil and Mornette, who were fantastic hosts throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality and personal touch made the experience truly unforgettable. Every detail at Pamarah Lodge has been thoughtfully designed. From the beautifully curated décor in the rooms to the lodge’s overall ambiance, it was clear that a lot of love and effort has gone into creating this haven. Our room was immaculate, cleaned to an exceptional standard, and offered all the comfort we could have hoped for. The staff were equally remarkable—friendly, polite, and genuinely attentive to every need. Their professionalism and warmth made us feel completely at ease. Booking with Pamarah Lodge was seamless. We received all the necessary information well in advance, including a detailed activity brochure. This allowed us to plan our days ahead, with useful tips that many travelers might overlook, such as carrying small denominations of USD notes. Everything was perfectly organized, from our airport transfers to recommendations for local activities. The food was simply divine, with every meal thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. Pamarah Lodge is a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and genuine hospitality. For anyone visiting Victoria Falls, this family-owned lodge offers an experience that is as warm as it is unforgettable. Highly recommended!

This beautiful lodge was absolutely fantastic. It absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. The owner, Phil, personally meets all his guests and is genuinely interested in you and what you’re doing. The staff are all wonderful and so helpful and friendly. They take great pride in their work and providing a wonderful experience for their guests. The position is perfect as it is away from the main centre of town which has a constant buzz of sight seeing helicopters all day. The food is delicious and breakfast exceptional. Loved the aviation theme that they have created due to Phil’s love of flying. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

Nothing. Attention to detail and genuine care for patrons is their priority.

The lodge is privately-owned and has all the amenities one could wish for having spent nine days on a safari. Everything is spotlessly clean and the rooms are well equipped with a kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits, electric sockets for all types of plugs (including European!) as well as USB. We slept soundly on the good mattresses. The bathroom features a comfortable big shower. We enjoyed the good breakfast served in the patio, which made for a wonderful setting to start our days. The owner is very approachable and gave us excellent recommendations for organising our 3-day stay in Victoria Falls. Pamarah's receptionists helped us organise taxis and activities and everything worked out just fine. We can really recommend Pamarah Lodge!

There is nothing not to be liked here.

Welcoming staff. (I like that they wear nametags.) Cool cloth and sweet iced tea as a welcome. Drinking-water filling stations are located at the entrance and in Reception, and a thermos container is in the room. Nice single room with double bed, nice shower, good air-con, universal electrical outlets, plunger-style coffee maker and coffee grounds. Good WiFi throughout. I was thrilled to see they offer vegan dinners, changing daily. Note that there is no fridge or TV in the room, and the pool is small, just for dipping, but comfortable seating is around it for lounging.

Pamarah lodge was a breath of fresh air. The staff are exceptional and detail orientated (the welcome drink and facecloth were a nice touch). The rooms were great and clearly had a lot of thought behind them. Having USB charging on both sides of the bed, fresh ground coffee and a french press, a ceiling fan and an AC unit, and a super comfy bed. The breakfast was amazing, among the best I've had at a hotel, the restraunt at night was fantastic. The overall vibe of the place was one of relaxation. The front desk were able to organize dinners, tours, taxis, and laundry and did so with a smile. A must if in Victoria Falls.

The perfect place for our 3-generation family group to enjoy a few days in Victoria Falls. The team were superb, so polite & couldn't do enough to make our stay magical. They helped to arrange guided tour of the Falls, an elephant encounter at a nearby sanctuary & a helicopter flight over the area, which exceeded my expectations. With thanks to Phil & Ross for their great conversations & culinary skills, and also to Adam, who went out of his way to put my youngest son at ease when he was upset. We hope to come visit again in the future!
