Great location with excellent views. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and helpful at all times. The free packed lunch was an unexpected bonus.

Breakfast was very good, but choices for evening meals were more limited than shown online and on the (presumably sample) menu in the room. Perhaps this was because our visit was out of season. The building is old and full of character, but a leak near to our bedroom unfortunately reminded me of home and a problem that I wanted to get away from.

This Inn /pub turned out to be an absolute gem. We stayed for three nights and there was free parking in their own car park. The room was very comfortable, clean and had every thing one would need. Breakfast was excellent and served in a room that had a stunning view of Corfe Castle across the valley. We chose to eat in the restaurant every night and enjoyed good quality 'pub' food in front of a warm open log fire. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A perfect location for exploring on of Dorset's stunning countryside and coast line.

This place could get very busy in the high season.

The location is stunning with breathtaking views. It’s a lovely old building but showing it’s age - in our room the windows either didn’t open or didn’t shut! However our generous accommodation (bedroom and sitting room) was warm, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Breakfast, although limited in choice, was very good. Staff welcoming and cheery. Great stopover if you’re walking SW coast path.

We stayed for 3 nights. The family who are front of house were so lovely and friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room and bottles of water. The breakfast was excellent. A good idea to stay somewhere where you can get a meal in the evening too. It was warm and cosy throughout. Of course the view was spectacular and there were brilliant walks and places to visit.

The bar food and the beer were very good as was the breakfast. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Our room (Houns Tout) was a huge suite which we weren't expecting. The bed was comfortable. The view over Corfe and beyond from the pub garden was fantastic.

The pub was very popular and busy as it was a warm evening and there was only one person serving so there was a bit of a wait to get served at the bar. The bar shuts at 9.30 pm which is a bit early for a pub. We were told that even if you are staying upstairs you have to vacate the bar when it closes. There is no other pub within walking distance.

Wonderful, old pub in an amazing location with stunning views over Corfe Castle. Lots of character and very friendly welcome. Our room was more of a suite with a separate living area, so lots of space. Toiletries and good quality tea/coffee provisions. Breakfast time was 9-9.30… altho we went down a bit early and they did serve us. Good choice and quality breakfast.

The decor was a little tired and the room, whilst perfectly fine, was rather functionally furnished- not perhaps aligned with the price but we were not there long enough to appreciate the additional living area, so maybe unfair. For us, the bed was incredibly soft.

Very pretty old pub with beautiful location and views. Comfortable room and fairly quiet at night. The staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed a nice meal in the pub garden.

The breakfast is only served from 9am to 9.30am. We had to skip breakfast because it was too late and we would have missed the ferry we booked at Brownsea Island. We had hoped to have breakfast from 8am or 8.30am. We had to buy a breakfast somewhere else en route so this was very disappointing. Would have also liked to see a bigger choice of options on the menu as it seemed a bit limited and also more choice of lager.

The staff were lovely, the room was comfortable and clean and even had a full size kettle and a teapot!!!! We had an evening meal and the food was great. The 2 young lads who were running the bar, kitchen etc were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast (which was included in the price) was perfect. On top of all this the views across the garden to Corfe Castle were fabulous. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location with spectacular views across to Corfe Castle from the garden. Easy reach of the coast with fabulous walking available from the doorstep. Room was spacious with a comfy bed and excellent en-suite. Breakfast was excellent with locally sourced food (the Dorset Black Pudding was outstanding!). Staff were all helpful and polite. They are a very young team eager to do their best. Fish and chips and the goats cheese salad were huge, well cooked and very satisfying!

Tv was a little on the small side and past its best. Hot water could be warmer for having a bath.

The building is quirky and we enjoyed its old world charm. It was very comfortable after a day's hiking. The bedroom, linen and furnishings were clean and of a good quality.

I have several allergies and there were few options for food on the evening menu, which was disappointing as we'd heard the pub was good for food. Breakfast is a very small window from 09:00-09:30, which didn't suit our needs. However they were accommodating and gave us cereal, milk and fruit to take to the room so we could have an early breakfast and be on our way for the next leg of our walk. The bathroom could do with a bit of a refresh.
