The position of the hotel is great. A lovely walk to the village across a field. My wife and I were upgraded to a large family room as it was available. No extra charge. The food was excellent.

The TV was on the wrong wall to facilitate watching tv from the bed.

Excellent vegetarian breakfast and plenty of options for cooked or continental and very prompt and friendly service

One slight niggle simply because of some inconsiderate guests is that the Hotel entrance and Veranda should be marked as a No Smoking area. We were sat on the bench near the entrance enjoying the evening sunshine with a glass of wine watching sun sink in the west when a fellow guest stepped outside to have a cigarette. It was very unpleasant for a short while and there is plenty of outside space in the adjacent car park for this obnoxious habit.

I booked a room termed, 'Deluxe Room with a King-size bed and Sea Views'. The sea-views exceeded my expectations. The general cleanliness of the room and hotel was excellent. Breakfasts were very good with a reasonable choice of foods. The staff we came across couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and gave us lots of information about the area and the hotel's history.

I'm not sure I would have described the room as 'Deluxe'. There were marks on the upholstery that needed cleaning and the table and desk was looking a bit shabby. The mattress was rather soft and lumpy (might suit some people but not us!)

Very nice room, lovely and warm. Comfortable bed, pillows and duvet. Very nice white bed linen. En-suite was well lit , often have difficulty applying makeup in hotel rooms as there is insufficient lighting. This was 10/10 . Good shower, modern facilities and lots of hot water. We enjoyed a very good evening meal in the restaurant. Great service by all staff. Most enjoyable.

Didn’t like having to book early slot (8.30) for breakfast . Seemed a bit regimented. About 4 couples arrived at the same time as us which seemed counterproductive! Breakfast was nice, but my husband asked for scrambled eggs on toast, with bacon & we thought one rasher of bacon was very stingy as he didn’t choose sausage, black pudding, tomato, beans, or mushroom . Would have been better had he been given an additional piece of bacon or two. Heard the waitress offering other guests an extra sausage or tomato or beans in place of something they didn’t want etc.

The location of the hotel is outstanding. The walk down to the beach is really pleasant. The hotel has a modern bar which generates a good atmosphere The staff and in particular the cleaning crew were fantastic. A very well maintained hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Food available for lunch and evening was v. good. Access to the balcony overlooking the bay was great .

I thought our room was quite small, the furniture out dated and tired with the view from the rear room (7)not great. It was a tad noisy re extraction/heating although earplugs were available.

Breakfast was good. The hotel is beautifully situated above the bay. The staff were all delightful, the housekeeping ladies and receptionists in particular, were extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurant very pleasant and menu good.

My room on the back of the hotel, was a very small double which was adequate as I was alone. Room was comfortable and pleasant, as was the en suite. However it looked out onto a flat roof whereon were situated the extraction vents from the kitchen below. These were humming all day, starting at around 6.30 am until mid evening and also emitting cooking odours. I kept the window closed although the ensuite window provided ventilation as it faced a different direction. I think the room was overpriced because of this. However, once the extractors were turned off, the room was beautifully quiet all night.

Nestled along the picturesque Welsh coastline, this charming hidden gem is a sight to behold. It exudes an undeniable charm that captivates all who have the pleasure of visiting.

What a fabulous hotel! We booked a 4 night stay, and celebrated our wedding anniversary while there and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in room 3, which had the most beautiful sea and bay views, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the room was spotless. We ate in the hotel restaurant each evening of our stay, and the quality and presentation of the food was superb - the ribeye steak was one of the nicest I've ever had. The staff were so friendly - Kelly on reception was lovely, we had some great conversations with her, and she even left us an anniversary card in our room which was such a nice touch, and much appreciated. The hotel is ideally placed for visiting all that Anglesey has to offer, and we also took in a trip to Caernarfon and Llandudno - both within a 45 minute drive. We loved our stay that much, we have already booked our stay for next year!

Everything was great! The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and obviously very well trained. Our room was spotless with very comfy bed and had just been decorated. The restaurant had great food and atmosphere. It's very popular so you have to book in advance. We didn't book a room with sea view, but the view from the restaurant was amazing, we could see right down into the bay. The hotel has a private path that leads down to the beach, which was an added bonus and surprise we didn't know about before we got there. There are several great locations for a beautiful sunset if the clouds allow and the staff really helped us with this. Breakfast the next morning was great. Plenty of parking.

We only booked one night! We're certainly going to come back.

Fantastically kind and helpful staff. One of our party had mobility issues and couldn’t go up and down stairs easily, so tended to sit and wait for the rest of us. When staff realised the problem they kindly offered help, drinks etc while he waited. Really couldn’t ask for better. Lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend trying the restaurant - great food and excellent service.

Would have rated higher for facilities if you had a residents lounge. Would have been nice to have somewhere to sit outside the room. Also could really do with a lift as all bedrooms are upstairs. However, to be fair, this was clear in the details and the staff offered to help take bags etc upstairs. I only mention because we’d love to come back but this isn’t an option because of the stairs - due to one of the party’s mobility issues.
