The hosts were exceptional, very friendly and met every request and really are dog friendly. Food was exceptional, well presented and cooked well. WHAT A HUGE MENU!!!!! All cooked by the landlady. A friendly pub atmosphere with very friendly locals. Every item required was in the room, hairdryer, fan, heater, kettle, cups and tea, coffee biscuits etc. We would much prefer a small hotel with friendly hosts who treated us as individuals, and friends and not like hotel guests in a large hotel, Thank you
The room was not attended to each day regards bed making, bin emptying or any other cleaning etc., but we only stayed 3 nights, so this was not a problem for us. We were just a little disappointed regards the size of the room as we have a large dog who had to sleep in the same room and we found ourselves falling over each other.

We were travelling in Wales & not booking far in advance. Angelsey on a Bank Holiday Weekend did not have numerous options within our budget. We had a great stay for two nights. The rooms are located above the Pub in a very old building and are very basic. Ours was room 1 directly above the Pub and we were warned it could be a little noisy. ( it was a little ) The room was small with twin beds( comfortable ) as well as a bunk bed, the bathroom large! The owner was accommodating, the pub great for conversations with the local residents ( we got lots advice about the area) breakfast was good and we had dinner both nights as well.

This pub with accommodation lived up to expectations. The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was bright and clean and even though our room was above the bar, there was not any issue with noise. We had booked bed and breakfast and the options for breakfast were very good. The food portion and quality were delicious. So much so that we also ate in the pub on both nights and were not disappointed. Can thoroughly recommend the freshly made pies and home made chips. Good value short stay in a quiet location, with the Coastal path within 5 minutes walk.

The is a family run business and they give you a very warm welcome. It combines being a locals bar with a guest house and restaurant. The food and beer are good and the rooms are comfortable. Overall it’s great value and I would definitely stay again. Its location is ideal for a stop over on the way to the ferry at Holyhead. We were on a motorcycle trip and were pleased with the off street parking. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms lovely.
Not much to be fair, the furniture in the room was an eclectic mix but could do with being smaller to create a little more space to move around the room.

Breakfast was very nice. The choice was basically anything I would like for breakfast and the coffee was steaming hot. In spite of being a public house you heard little from the bar downstairs. Facilities in the room were everything you needed. It was nice to see a hairdryer and and iron/ironing board. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate - plenty of choice of beverages. Staff/owners very pleasant. Didn't feel at all uncomfortable that I was travelling/staying alone.
The noise from the bathroom fan from another room was quite irritating, especially when it continued for over an hour on one of the evenings. The noise was louder than from the bathroom fan in my own room which also seemed to have an over prolonged run time.

What a terrific little pub hotel. Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, lots of hot water and a lovely peaceful location. Most of all; the owners couldn't do enough to help make my stay more enjoyable. Little things like taking the time to chat at breakfast, helping to carry stuff upstairs, and just being very hospitable and genuinely friendly. To pay such a modest cost for all of this (not to mention a really nice breakfast) made it even better. They could charge more and it would still be a bargain.
I can't think of anything that i'd critique. Even if I could, to do so would be really churlish given how much I enjoyed staying at the Holland Hotel and the price that I paid.

The hotel was ideally suited for us, the staff went above and beyond the landlady was a friendly who couldn’t do 3nough for us, the evening meal was excellent we eat in because we re ancient and didn’t want to go out but the menue was extensive and freshly cooked can’t fault it , the room was comfortable and quiet, so all in all a very enjoyable stay, would definitely use again if in area
The beds were a bit hard fir us but that is just our preference

Honestly flawless, the staff were lovely and really welcoming, Including the locals. The pub was so warm and welcoming, honestly my motorcycle was allowed to be put in the beer garden away from the road and the room was amazing, clean, fresh and everything was given that was more than I paid for. Staff were talkative and friendly, asking questions and listening to stories as well as the locals. Honestly the best pub I've been to in a while in my solo travels.
Nothing it was fantastic!

Very comfortable hotel in a convenient location on Anglesey for exploring the island or visiting friends; Welcoming and helpful landlord; Spacious car park; The room was attractive and warm, leading to a good and efficient shower room; Reliable wi-fi and ample provision for tea-&-coffee; Breakfast was well served in the bar area. A most enjoyable few days in Wales.
Everything was well provided for a relaxing few days away on Anglesey; however, using a Laptop was rather difficult, and perhaps the furniture could include a desk.

Very clean homely accommodation and friendly helpful staff. Its great that there is a chidren's park within 60 seconds walk of the pub with surrounding land to give your dog a quick break prior to bed and or early in the morning.
Was initially pleased to find the shower was powerful however scalding and unusable (super dangerous near kids or less able of course) unless you have it on its lowest setting. I let staff know and they were helpful in resetting the shower at its minimal and stated they'd get it sorted longer term which is great.
