We wanted somewhere quieter than the Old Quarter but close by for our last two nights of our trip. This place was recommended on a Facebook group for travel to Vietnam. My friend and I booked two apartments: A balcony room and a Garden View room. They both provided great views of the West Lake and Hanoi and were clean and comfortable. The staff were great to communicate with before arrival and knowing there was a 24 hour concierge available was great. Rooms were comfortable and secure. The Garden Room even had a full kitchen and dining table! We found great coffee and food nearby and it was a five minute ride by Grab to Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Great accom at a great price.

We had no complaints.

Definitely the best place I have stayed in Vietnam. I really appreciated the quiet and privacy. It was a good place to unwind a little and get away from the chaotic city. The room is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and I had everything I needed. Having the balcony, which is a sun trap, over looking the lake, was lovely. I really like this place and it was the perfect way to end a busy trip. I’d stay again and I do recommend it.

I noticed that each time after I sat on the sofa, I felt itchy and had some bites. Could be a coincidence, but I don’t think so. Maybe just needs a deep clean.

I recently stayed at Moonlight Tay Ho in Hanoi and had a wonderful experience. The stay was incredibly comfortable, and the reception staff were exceptionally sweet and accommodating. The breathtaking view from my room added to the overall charm of the hotel. Everything was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in room cleaning was evident. The hotel staff went above and beyond by arranging a tour for me, making my stay even more memorable. One standout feature was the inclusion of a washing machine in the room – a unique and highly appreciated addition. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is a bit far from the main center (Old Quarters), which could be a downside for those wanting a more central location. Despite this, Moonlight Tay Ho offers a delightful and cozy retreat with excellent service.

I arrived before check-in time and Tracy allowed me to check-in early. I appreciate that a lot. For the rest of my stay, I have dealt with Alice, who enthusiastically had assisted me with all my concerns. In a foreign country, you’d want someone reliable like her as a receptionist, so I rebooked another stay after my side trip to Cat Ba. The place is near the West Lake and another lake. The neighborhood has a relaxing and laid-back vibe. The area has a beautiful jogging path and many coffee shops surround the property. If you have been to Hanoi several times like I have, in my opinion, this is the next best place after the Old Quarter.

Having a kitchen and separate bedroom. Also, quiet area but close walk to stores, restaurants, street life. ALSO if you get one of the lake view rooms, the view is SWEET!!

Well, friends who have stayed here said there was some sort of smell from the bathroom pipes, but I’ve stayed here a few times and never noticed this. You could just close the bathroom door, or bring an air freshener. I have never had a problem. There are some rooms that dont’ have a view, those would not be my first choice.

The location of the hotel is a perfect mix of a calm and quiet spot to recharge after a day in the city while also being close enough to everything you need, with cute cafes, restaurants and stores around. The room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. What made the stay so perfect for me however was the incredible staff that works here. Especially Alice and Hue have been so invested and helpful, and did their absolute best to help arrange a laptop for me while I was staying here. I have never encountered more lovely and engaging staff at a hotel, and I can‘t recommend a stay here more!

Everything was perfect.Hotel is located on the West Lake, very nice and safe area. Cleaning of room every second of third day. I had studio , it is small but clean and looks new, with all equipments you need even for longer stay. Staff at reception is very nice and helpful, they can also help to organise affordable trip for yor, they recommend food, restaurants, hairdresser, book taxi for you,etc.. During my stay I deal with manager and all staff and I can say that there are amazing people, I realy appreciate everything they were done for me!

Hotel is closing door in night so you will need to call someone to open door, but I think this is not big issue.

I had an incredible stay at Moon Light Tay Ho in Hanoi. This review is a rarity for me, but this place left me no choice. If you're searching for a serene hideaway in the city, look no further. After two disappointing hotel experiences, I stumbled upon Moon Light Tay Ho, It's that tranquil spot you yearn for amidst the city's chaos – a true gem. The rooms are airy, and flooded with sunlight. The design is spot-on, striking a balance between aesthetics and practicality that I truly appreciated. Now, let's talk about the kitchen – fully equipped and then some. I'm a fan of cooking my own meals, and this kitchen made it a joy. It felt like a slice of home in a new place. The staff, though, stole the show. Super helpful, incredibly sweet. Case in point: I had a lock emergency at 1 AM. Believe it or not, the entire staff rallied to help me out. They even brought in a professional to handle the situation promptly.

Excellent stay at Moonlight Tay Ho. We appreciated the very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff and the hotel was in a perfect location for us, as we needed to be in West Lake. Studio room was clean and as advertised with comfortable beds. Hot water was always available, with good shower pressure. The quiet area ensured a good night's sleep and extra pillows were available on request. We did not cook, but all kitchen equipment looked new. We did use the washer drier, which was also very new and east to operate. Would highly recommend this clean comfortable hotel with excellent staff.

Nothing.

The room was quiet, and a good price considering it's location on the lake and close to Yen Phu, Truc Bach and Quang An. The staff were super helpful and always at hand to assist in any way. Bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean and modern.

The room had a window that looked onto an internal wall. Very little natural daylight. This wasn't a problem for me as I arrived late and had plans in the evening. But worth noting if you like to spend more time in your room.
