Very nice staff - the owner was receptionist, answered all questions, smiled and so. Everything good. Room was nothing special, but had my expectations - big enough, clean, there was good big bed. Towels and toiletries included. Location in the very centre, next to the lake. I was with motorcycle and it was raining cats and dogs, I was not ready to stay in a tent in camping.

Room, ok, was a bit outdated but I did not care. Bathroom ventilator was with a noise, a bit annoying but ok, when light switched off, it does not work. Same thing with sink - when water is running, also noise. Parking is extra money - but ok, on the street it also costs. I had to pay also for motorcycle, but ok.

The manager Pablo( or owner)?? was an absolute pleasure! He was helpful and had lots of good advice and suggestions regarding what to do in his small town. The location of the hotel is ideal as well…. if you want to stay in this town! Naively we had expected it to be a little more convenient to get to. The room itself was lovely with a fabulous little balcony overlooking the lake.

Naively we had thought this town was on Lake Como itself and assumed it would be easier to get to. We had to take a train and then a bus which did not run all that frequently. As such when we wanted to go into town but had missed the last morning bus we had a two hour wait to do so. Otherwise, it was a lovely hotel and I would go back and stay there again….. sadly the weather was very cold and rainy for the duration of our stay so we really didn’t enjoy our visit as much as we could have and there was no heat in the room given that this cold weather is atypical for this time of year.

Breakfast was excellent! Variety and freshness! Loved the cappuccino! And the cheese! Love the view from the room! My room #14 offered two widowed and two balconies! Amazing! I really want to thank Pablo for his advice and great service! Give him a raise! :-)

There is NO Air conditioning in the room! And no frigo bar! I usually do not consume the beverages from the fridge but I love my cold water! Please bring back frigobar and put AC. Just for clarification: the night was cool enough not to need AC but I am considering in returning to the city in the summer… and the lack of AC makes me wonder how will I survive the high temperatures! Thank you Also there was no shower but a bathtub! It is more practical to have a standing shower !!!

Room was overlooking the lake. It was clean and tidy every day. Breakfast was at an extra cost but good. Receptionists were very helpful with directions on where to catch the bus and restaurants in the vicinity.

We were hoping for a kettle in the room to have some tea in the evening but otherwise all was good. A mini fridge would have been lovely too.

Perfect place to stay in Porlezza, with an amazing view from the balcony, close to everything ,beach,downtown, and restaurants. The staff are just amazing, helpful, and professional. Very good breakfast . Comfortable room and bed. Clean. Toiletries, big bathroom. Parking place on site. Will definitely return back. Booked for one night, then stayed 5 nights.

What a fabulous location! Incredible views, and a wonderful town to explore. The staff kindly gave us a surprise upgrade to a corner room with a double balcony/window. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay, and we didn't have time to try the spa / wellness facilities.

Great location with lake view. Not far from free parking and the beach. Excellent start location for exploring the lake and the mountains nearby. The staff is very nice and helpful. Can’t give them enough stars.

Reception: Very welcoming guys at the restaurant. Room: Old style spacious room. Room View: Most beautiful view with mountains, lake and boats at the shore. Enjoyed full moon at midnight. Breakfast: Paid. Bathtub: No. Parking: Paid. Nearby: Coop and restaurants nearby. On Saturdays, there is local market on the front road, had fun there.

The view from this hotel are unbelievable of Lac Lugano. The entire staff at Hotel Europa was excellent and particularly the Manager who recommended a local restaurant, Bistro’ Lurati for our 30th anniversary. It was PERFECT and the best restaurant we experienced in Italy over 17 days.

Great staff, amazing views on lake Lugano. Excellent location (you can reach many different locations with a car), and Porlezza is not as expensive as other more famous cities around - but equally beautiful! The hotel had a small pool which was perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was fine, very common type of buffet in Italy. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The WiFi coverage was quite bad, and mostly not working.
