Marco was an exceptional host - he's happy to do anything to help. We only spent 2 days here but he got us in to swim with turtles with his friend Sergio (who is also fantastic), made us delicious Italian pasta, and helped us out with water and cutlery so that we could make our own meals to save a little money.

On the second night there was a celebration over the road which went on with extremely loud music until 5am. Nothing to do with the hotel but we got very little sleep.

The employees are very friendly and the check in process was very smooth. The bed was comfortable and so was the location - close to the beach entrance (which is private). The associated restaurant is also very good :)

During the night, not sure if due to the location of our particular room, there was a lot of wind-caused noise. This noise was disproportionate to the real wind outside - I think due to acoustics related with the unclosable window on the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was poor.

Lovely small and friendly hotel. Right in the middle of the village and just a few minutes walking from the beach. The rooms are basic but comfortable, everything you need for a day or two in Akumal. The staff helped me to arrange a snorkeling trip with a great guide (it was just the two of us, much better than the bigger groups you can join on the beach) and helped with working out colectivos, etc.

Clean hotel with everything you need. The highlight was the tour of Akamel beach with Sergio to see turtles. He provides a great personal tour of the area. It is a far better experience than the large group tours and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend going with Sergio to see the turtles.

Great location and hosts. Right in the center of the Pueblo with all the local quiet activity. Across the street from the combies for PDC and Tulum. Rent bikes around the corner for cenotes and the beach. Have Eduardo take you on bikes to the cenotes. Fun to sit out with Marco’s excellent capuchino and watch the world go by

Very nice staff! Nice view from room. Working air conditioning. Good location, you can get on foot to the beach and nice small town with nice paintings on houses.

Beds are good for people who love hard beds, for us it was too much, but maybe its our problem. Shower need reconstruction in rroom where we were because of switcher for hot water. But nothing terrible, its information for improvement. Overall we were relatively satisfied.

The first time i stayed i had Pablo and Karla as hosts. Wonderful people. So kind and friendly and very helpful. The second stay 2 weeks later the host were Mariele and Marco and have the same thoughts as with Pablo and Karla. All wonderful friendly and gracious hosts. i will be back for many years to come. I love the place

EXCELLENT ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BE MISSED! I found myself really well in this hotel, both for the kindness and professionalism of the two managers Marco and Mariele and for the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel itself. thanks to the recommendation of the two managers who recommended "AKVENTURE" I snorkeled with the turtles and it was a wonderful tour that I recommend to everyone!

The owners were very nice and helpful. The rooms are big and comfy, there is a nice patio. Clean, all in all a pleasant stay.

Taking a shower requires switching on an electricity switch. If the wires heat up too much, you may need to switch it back on while dripping wet, which a serious safety hazard.

Perfect location in Akumal. Right in the center of the Pueblo and 2minutes drive to the beach. The owners are a really nice couple who were really helpful, thanks again. The room was perfect with a balcony and private bathroom, and we had a nice little balcony. Our stay was really GREAT!
