Location, near the metro and a variety of restaurants in all price brackets. Big clean rooms with aircon, pool table, table tennis, space for cars out front. Nice shower. Staff very understanding when I questioned the people in my room, they offered me another room, and I said yes straight away. Very happy with the service

Probably everything; good atmosphere, and very nice staff. I really enjoyed time with people in the little "garden". Loved the garden; Nice breakfast, the pineapple jam was amazing!

The ladies that I met who assisted me were super sweet and helpful! Even though I couldn’t speak much English, we were able to understand each other. The breakfast was a nice touch, and very simple. The bed was very comfy, the room was smaller than I expected, but since I was solo, it didn’t bother me. Sharing the bathroom can be tricky, since it’s shared btn 3 rooms and I had to wait awhile before I could use it in the morning.

1. The personnel were very kind, gentle and situation solving at all times 2. The tent room sleeping area, bed very comfy and surrounded almost by nature which makes things even more better at night (The dog, cat and birds increased this nature kind of connection) / Btw: If you are a sensitive noise kind of traveller dont go for the Tent, suggest going for a more private room, nonetheless birds dont do it a lot, still in my experience i liked it. 3. Didnt expected to receive a Basic Breakfast and i totally liked it (Travelers, dont set standards too high specially based on the price, be happy they are giving you something because in other places they dont) 4. I liked the mini library book shelf and the food area right there closer to the mini garden

I felt like I was visiting family. The owners and their staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. The place is within walking distance to several stores and restaurants .Their eclectic mature home has so much charm and character. I especially loved the tropical setting in the interior and out on the front porch. They supplied fresh fruit, toast, and jam, coffee tea, and juice for the free continetal breakfast.

The bed could be updated with a mattress topper for a more comfortable rest.

The Panama House Bed and Breakfast is a very accommodating family-owned B & B in a convenient location for markets, parks, restaurants and public transport, Uber, taxi, bus and metro. Fresh coffee, toast, butter and jelly are provided every morning. Banana available most days. The kitchen is well equipped and a laundry service is provided as necessary. Different levels of private and shared rooms are available here. The owners are bilingual, check it out!

The location was good - walkable distance to the El Cangrejo neighborhood which has plenty of restaurants, shops, parks, and historical interests. The staff at Panama House were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean and had great air conditioning. It was lovely to have a quick breakfast of bread and jam, bananas and coffee in the courtyard in the morning, while exchanging “holas” with Blue, the parrot!

The beds were not very comfortable.

We loved how homelike the property felt. The owners and staff were very welcoming and such kind spirits. Panama City feels quite overwhelming and it was always a pleasure to return 'home' and relax in the garden. We also enjoyed the simple breakfast that everyone could add onto from their own provisions. The communal kitchen is very good and the fridge is big. Also there's fresh water and ice. The location is excellent: a great Venezuelan restaurant across the street and lots of other options a walk away. We also used the Metro to get around and discovered the nearby park with an amazing kids' playground. All in all we enjoyed the bed and breakfast: it has the same social and warm vibe that a very good hostel would have, but without the parties and with good rooms!

Even though the parrots have a big enclosure, I always feel a bit sad with birds being caged. But that's just me and that's good to know in advance.

Panama House B&B is in a great spot in the city- so much around you and convenient to get everywhere (about 10-15 min drive to Casco Viejo or can also take the metro). It also felt like a little oasis with the greenery and birds in the back :) Alva is an amazing host and was so lovely to be around! Not to mention, this is the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in. I stayed a few nights in both the shared dorm and the tent and they were both great experiences. Very appreciative of the hot water, A/C at night, great wifi and continent breakfast. Bring earplugs if you are not a heavy sleeper because the birds are very loud around 6-7 am. Definitely support this locally owned business! (Pic of bathroom is the outdoor bathroom for the tents)
