We were staying in Panama City for only 1 day so the place was great due to its proximity to both the airport and the touristy area. The neighbourhood itself is nice and quite, it felt safe, although there wasn't much to do apart from a couple of cafés who had really good coffee (Recommendation: Tres Cosechas Specialty Coffee). The hosting family were very friendly and flexible. We checked-in quite late and they allowed us to leave our luggage there the whole day after checking-out.

The walls are quite thin and other guests were loud late into the night. Wasn't that much of a problem though since I packed my earplugs.

Location: nice neighborhood, clean and quiet, easily accessible, ca. 5-7min walking from the metro station, a large supermarket within the same walking distance, even after dark on almost empty streets felt absolutely safe. Room: spacious and cozy room, comfortable bed, WiFi works very well, a/c, hot water in the shower, fridge in the room. We were also able to use the common area on the terrace and the kitchen to cook, which was a pleasant bonus. Hostal also offers laundry service, and although we didn't use it I find it really helpful that you don't need to search for it around if you need one. Friendly and welcoming hosts. When someone talks in the hall downstairs, you hear it in your room, but it happened may be twice and didn't disturb us at all. The hostal is really quiet and peaceful and we really liked this atmosphere.

The staff were incredibly helpful given that I arrived very late and left at 5am. Natalia offered to change my room as I had mistakenly booked one without a bathroom. I loved the citrus wall colours behifnd the bed, the matching artwork , a convenient bedside light and spotless shower room. The neighbourhood is quiet at night but one hears the metro rumble in the early hours.

Many thanks to the whole family of landlords! A very friendly and enthusiastic family. The daughter can communicate in English and is available 24 hours. All requests were handled immediately and satisfactorily. The location is very good, within walking distance to the subway, park, many restaurants, supermarkets, and various stores. The whole street is a very elegant residential area, very quiet. Parking is convenient. There is a spacious backyard. The room, bed, bathroom, air conditioning, refrigerator, lighting, and soundproofing are all good. The communal kitchen is convenient and clean. I will stay here next time if I have a chance to come back Panama.

Very clean and quiet. I stayed in a private room and it was basic, but clean and comfortable. I had doctors appointments at a hospital near by and this was an easy location to Uber to and from my appointments and labs. I didn't get out to explore the area but it felt quiet and safe at this location. The staff was polite and unobtrusive.

If you want to see the main tourist attractions, it's maybe a 10/15 min Uber or metro ride away but still a very good, safe location. Metro is short walk from hostel.

The family is very friendly and welcoming. Shower with good water pressure and hot water. Cafe in short walking distance. The bathroom is well equipped and there is a fridge in the room.

The window opens to the common area and when blinds are closed, the room is going to be a bit smelly.

There are not many restaurants/cafés in de direct neigbourhood. But with a 10 minute walk or a Uber drive you’ll find plenty.

The hostel is not so far from the metro station. Around 10 min walk. Fridge in the room. Air conditioning is also available. Good WiFi. Cosmetics and towels provided.

Only one thing. Bed was terrible. Mattress was so soft that you collapse in the bed.

Nice room, working ac, very clean, table outside and kitchen and they organized a shuttle to the airport for the four of us at 5AM. It was great value for the price and Panama city. I highly recommend. When we arrived around noon, the rooms were not ready but they let us put our bags in one of the rooms. Subway station really close.
