Room could do with slim wardrobe With drawers. Hanging space next to light and coffee machine not adequate. Also coffee machine not very good The room is very small so no space ( not even a fold down table ) or to put your things on . I think you need to warn people if their room has stairs to it . Could be big problem. Second night I could hear straight through to next room coughing snoring. No windows to open for air

Everything! The staff were fantastic, friendly and made us feel comfortable from the start. They were happy to provide extra blankets and the room was immaculate and comfortable. Nice touch with the snacks and tasty water at reception (which I was obsessed with). Ideal location and surprisingly quiet.

Unfortunately the pressure from the shower was very poor and there was no hot water for the first 2 days. This was uncomfortable in the cold weather but luckily the room was nice and warm with the heating. However, we do understand how the cold weather could have affected the boiler. Though, the water pressure was sadly not improved when the hot water had been fixed.

The heating in the room is very loud and without it turned on it gets cold fast. Also you can hear every sound coming from the hallway and rooms that are close by

A lovely hotel at a great location. The beautiful Vondelpark is just a couple minutes away and the city centre is not far either, just a few minutes by the public transport or a nice walk over the many canals. Our room was on the 4th floor and while it was facing the busy street, we didn't mind it at all. Since the streets in the city all look really nice, we enjoyed the view. All the staff at the reception were super friendly and helpful, as was the cleaning maid we met a couple times. The room was clean and was tidied up every day, all the necessary hygienic products were included, had a tiny fridge, and above all that there were also comfortable slippers, an iron and ironing board for those who might need it, and a few small helpful kits (vanity, sewing and shoe polishing). We appreciated the free small bottle of wine and bottles of water and especially the coffee machine and the coffee and tea that were refilled every day. The hotel also has a nice terrace where you can relax with a cup of coffee or tea any time. Overall our stay was excellent!

The hotel was in an excellent position for sightseeing and trams. It was very clean and the staff really friendly. Good size rooms. We also had a complementary small bottle of wine, water and 2 very lovely chocolates, a great start to any holiday!!!

Our room did not have a secondary set of windows so the sound of traffic was very loud, but I don't think you can help that in a city. The hotel had already placed ear plugs in the room, so not really a complaint, more just something to be aware of.

The staff is amazing. everyone was nice and welcoming. The location of the hotel was also really good, close to the Vondelpark, and in a beautiful central neighbourhood. Our windows were above the garden, so we had a pretty quiet stay. also, there's a supermarket and tram stations nearby, and a lot of city sights are in a walkable distance.

The cleanliness could have been a little better, especially during the stay - we stayed for more than a week, and we did expect them to vacuum at least once in two days. Also, in our room the water pressure was very low - they did offer to change the room, but the water pressure in the other room wasn't much better and he was smaller, so we managed.

Still my favorite hotel for 4 years in a row. This time I’ve traveled at my birthday and the staff even presented me a nice box of waffles. Cute gesture. Also the favorite breakfast. Eggs, avocado, different pastramis, cheese, crispy croissants and yogurt with berries make me always happy. Ginger and lemon is the cherry on the top. Nothing fancy, tastes like home.

That this time I didn’t get an upgrade for free 😂 They spoiled me :) But for the future, room with separate beds is really small. Better to take double even if you are with a friend. Just a friend.

Staff were very friendly, and there's someone present 24/7. Check in and out was quick and easy. Room was comfortable - compact but had everything you'd expect of a hotel and a good size bed. Location is great, good access to public transport, near museums and a park. The price seemed reasonable for Amsterdam, based on the pricing at other hotels.

Not a problem for us, but with various sets of stairs (including small sets within a given floor) it might not be very accessible for those with limited mobility - though there may be other accessible rooms available!

good location close to a lot of nice Cafés and restaurants in walking distance. Go see Vondelpark for a walk or go to the city center in 10 minutes. close to tram lines. nice staff, looks freshly renovated, warm water. nothing to really complain about, great place overall!

Typical dutch problems that you'll have everywhere :) A lot of stairs, so if you are impaired wrt to walking or have small kids, tell the hotel in advance so you get a room that's suitable. you can hear a lot of different people as the walls are thin, but that wasn't a big issue for us. breakfast is probably a bit expensive for what you get - the area has a lot to offer wrt to breakfast and if you have the time you can get really good stuff for the same price at Cafés outside. the breakfast was nice though and very convenient.

The property is in a great spot, has a wonderful private patio area, and is kept up very well. The staff are amazing; helpful and very friendly.

The elevator was not working so I needed to take the stairs (the exercise did me good).
