Hello, A True Friend has stayed at this property previously and has recommended this Property, My Room was really lovely, and was in a quiet location. The Breakfasts filled me up each day I was staying. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to travel home earlier. The Guest House is really clean and hospitable. There is a bus stop close by, and the Railway Station is close by along the main road. This property offers scrumptous evening meals. But there are other options including a microwave in the Lounge upstairs, so you can get something from the Supermarket and heat it etc. There is also a very good pub that does meals which is by the Railway Station.

EXCELLENT, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL. SPOTLESS!! EASY ACCESS TO THE VILLAGE I ONCE LIVED IN. ALSO TO MY SON'S PROPERTY AS HE LIVES IN VILLAGE. THERE IS A TRAIN STATION IN VILLAGE BUT YOU HAVE TO BOOK ON LINE AND BUS SERVICE BUT ONLY RUN EVERY 2-3 HRS.

A very nice property for a short stay.

I booked this property on the morning of my stay, as the previous booking cancelled me just an hour before I was due to travel! It was only after I arrived that I was told they needed 24 hours notice to book breakfast. Therefore I couldn't have breakfast, which was very irritating. Nothing was said about this required notice on booking.com. However, I would certainly book again when I'm next in the area, assuming I book more than a day in advance!

I loved the parking space. I loved the environment. I loved the little grass garden The lounge and the dining room. The bathroom was very clean.

The fact that when you walk the floor upstairs is not fortified enough to absorb the noise coming from your footsteps . You will feel guilty as if you're disturbing the guests in their respective rooms with your steps, making you kind of tip toe 😃

Very clean, practical and comfortable rooms. Good value for money. Local amenities with in short walking distance.

The contactless booking in system was not clear, emails with pin codes hadn't come through as planned but eventually called and the number I did have and a member of staff resent the email directly and talked through the process. After that everything was very good.

Very clean. Lovely staff. Excellent bathroom. Good breakfast.

Synthetic pillows. Furnishings slightly dated but in excellent clean condition. Complicated emails received re entry system prior to arrival. Luckily the lovely staff member was there to show us how it worked and in reality it was much easier than we thought it was going to be!

situation in a beautiful little village, this hidden gem is modern, clean, and has brilliant facilities. Staff were very welcoming on our arrival and ensured that we had a fan for our room during the hot weather. The decor is very modern and the room was spotless. We were located in an accessible from at the front ground floor of the property and it was great to see such inclusive facilities e.g. wheelchair access, aids in the shower. The quality of the power shower was refreshing as often washing facilities can be the downfall in many holiday accommodations - but not here! We were provided with a Mamas and Papas travel for for our little one, blankets include; all clean and of great quality. There are some free parking spaces on the front of the property which are very handy. WiFi worked brilliantly, and there we’re also shared facilities such as a lounge with a fridge/board games that we could have used had we wished to. Overall a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed over the Christmas period to be close to the family. Checked in on-line, a bonus. Found my room with key waiting for me. Room immaculate, warm, and coffee and tea making facilities. Just as I wanted it to be.

Everything was great. Nothing to not like

I found this by chance a I was looking for somewhere close to Scunthorpe. Booking was easy and the day before I was due to arrive I had a phone call from Angela to check that everything was OK. Arrived on the Saturday evening to be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome by a friendly member of Staff (Ann). The room was everything I needed. Being Saturday they did not serve evening meals but pointed me in the direction of a nearby pub with excellent food. Slept well in a comfy bed and went down for a great freshly cooked Full English breakfast. Again made to feel welcome. Could not praise it highly enough. I would definitely recommend it without any qualms (can't say reservations as you need to book!!) and would definitely go back again. Free car parking and free Wi-Fi. Who could ask for anything more?
