We enjoyed using the swimming/ spa facilities and found the room very comfortable and pleasant. There was a small queue at check in but desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel location was easy to find and the grounds were attractive and well kept. We were having a one night get away during Christmas holidays and chose the hotel due to the swimming pool. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. We found Normanby Hall in the area which proved to be a very enjoyable visit and very good value at just £5 parking charge.

Great place to stay and even better for a break with the dog! Reception staff were brilliant and answered all questions we had, our room was lovely and spacious for a basic double. Food and drinks in the lounge bar were good and there was lots of seating. Dogs were allowed in this part too so we made the most of it here. Visited the spa on both days we stayed, it’s great that it’s included as part of the stay with a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. They were allowed quite small but as we didn’t have to pay any extra it was good. Hotel was easy to find and was a good location for venturing out with the dog, took us around half an hour to get to the beach - not the best idea in December!! Overall we had a brilliant stay.

The size of the sauna and steam room was quite small and we didn’t think there was much seating around the pool. It would also be good if you’re staying in the hotel to have access to the relaxation room - this was a real shame it wasn’t included.

The staff were fantastic and made our stay perfect, they were extremely pro active and helpful at all times.

On our first night there was an event on which went on until early hours of the morning which unfortunately being on the ground floor this disturbed our sleep , due to the attendees of the event collecting outside our room on both inside and outside the hotel, one group also gathered in a room close by with we had to contact reception as they were playing loud music. Also the second issue was we pre booked an upgrade on our room which we obviously was happy to pay for however on our arrival the room was not given to us and unavailable.

A lovely short stay for New Year’s Day spa break away with a friend. Wonderful facilities and good room service as well as a restaurant and bar with a range of foods on offer. Breakfast was buffet style and offered a wide variety. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially when asked for veggie sausages for breakfast and a different type of egg other than fried.

Slightly in the middle of nowhere, but lots of near by service stations and other necessities. Wasn’t an issue for us and we knew what to expect as we were going for the Spa facilities.

Had everything we needed for a relaxing break away. Staff were so friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. Food was absolutely delicious. Breakfast had a wide variety to choose from, everything was cooked well and of good quality. Certainly one of the best breakfasts in a hotel that I've had. We got a free upgrade of our room to a superior upon arrival and enjoyed a spacious and well thought out room, a fridge with complimentry drinks, really comfortable beds and all the little extras you may need such as hairdryer, iron, kettle, coffee machine and fluffy bathrobes etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

Everything really, the receptionist was lovely and very, very helpful and explained everything about our stay and our room was upgraded to be nearer the entrances to help with the dogs which was extremely helpful. What a lovely hotel with quality fittings throughout and everything was spotlessly clean, we were disappointed that we were only staying for one night. The outside facilities were ideal for the dogs to which was an added bonus. Thank you to all involved with our stay we were warmly welcomed and our custom was obviously valued.

Superb staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Special shout to Myera at reception. She made our stay quite pleasant with a beautiful smile at all times. Good sized room with clean overalls. Thanks to the housekeeping. Sorry, to have forgotten her name. Big tv and relaxed atmosphere. Very good breakfast albeit limited choice when it comes to hot items. Plenty of fruit and juice options. Excellent hash browns and sausages for breakfast. The uptick was the replenishment of food items. Brilliant work being done by the staff. Dinner items were quite average although pizzas were exceptional.

Toaster should have been automated rather than the pop-up ones. Breakfast area was relatively small considering the resort is quite huge.

The room was so beautifully decorated with Towel Art by Kirsty (Staff) balloons, a card, sweet treats and rose petal decor for my birthday. I was truely amazed at the effort staff had put into that room😊Andrea has also dealt with our next visit for my partners birthday! The Lounge and Restaurant staff are also so friendly and accommodating, our Waitress Anisa was lovely and bubbly, and Phil was happy to help with any questions! All staff are just a joy to be around. Cleaning Staff always leave the room looking 10/10 (Thankyou Robyn!) I am just overjoyed I chose to come for my birthday😊Thankyou everyone!

The hotel room was super spacious, the staff were lovely and everywhere was clean and tidy! The stay was enjoyable and in a great location.

The health club facilities could be controlled and improved more, we used the pool Saturday evening and we counted 34 people that were in the small pool area. Great facilities but it was very cramped and often could’ve been a danger with the amount of people there. I am aware that it is a bonus to have a pool but it wasn’t a relaxing experience. A big pull of this hotel was because of the spa facilities but it felt more like a chaotic leisure centre.

Spa facilites were great! We took our dog with us and he was welcomed, and we were put by the entrance to easily get him in and out. Had a lovely walk around the golf course. Hotel and surroundings were lovely. Staff very nice too. Breakfast was great, really enjoyed it. Lots of choice!

We were originally put in the queen room with wash room as we had the dog with us. However, with the interlocking doors, we could hear everything next door. We didn't sleep at all as was noisy, and the dog was unable to settle with all the noises. The washroom could've been cleaner! However, we visited reception the next morning and explained and they moved us instantly to a family room for the next few nights and this was more spacious, quiet and a lot better for us, good bathroom. Very happy with the family room!
