The location was the best, really enjoyed our stay

Not the property itself but I called ahead of time to make sure we could be picked up at the airport… I was contacted by the driver and told him we had luggage with us and told him the number of passengers and he assured me there would be no problem. When he came to the airport he was late and it was a very small car, we all packed in barley being able to fit and had to put the luggage on our laps. It was the worst ride of my life. I had a big suit case on me and couldn’t see where we were going. A few times I thought I was going to yell for the driver to stop because I’m claustrophobic and have bad knee. I made it through but it was bad,

The location was pretty good. Close enough to the action but not on a busy street, so it was quiet. We were in the terrace room with the hot tub. The room was prettier than pictured, and the hot tub was very nice. They cleaned it out every morning, which was nice. The air conditioner worked well. The bed was comfortable. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion) were high quality lavender peppermint scented. Breakfast for purchase was very good and prepared fresh. The rooftop bar is gorgeous and comfortable, and they have a limited food menu. The French fries were very good, and the gin and tonics were the best ever. We had on-site 90-minute massages which were both excellent. They don't do couples massages, but they were able to schedule us both at the same time. They arranged transportation for us from San Miguel de Allende to Guanajuato as well as to the airport, which was helpful. Staff was generally pleasant, especially one younger lady who seemed to be the most fluent in English, and the man working at the bar.

There's an instant espresso machine in the room with 2 capsules provided - 1 regular and 1 decaf. You can exchange the decaf for regular, but you have to pay if you want additional coffee. When the room is over $200/night, It did seem a little bit chintzy to provide only 1 coffee pod per person and charge 45 MXN ($2.29 USD) for each additional coffee pod. Also, you can't charge on-site services to the room (breakfast, bar purchases, or massages), which is only slightly inconvenient. Overall, an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely terrace and views, comfortable, well designed rooms. 5 minutes or less walk from the centre. Also a nice small pool.

Whilst most staff were very pleasant, particularly the guy who parked the car and the one at reception who spoke good English, one girl on reception was very surly failing to communicate by Google translate, telling me in Spanish that I “must explain properly in Spanish” (which tried to do but speak only poorly) and even ignoring at least one direct request. Obviously it is a Spanish speaking country, but, if you target an international clientele, you need to have some willingness to at least try to find ways to communicate, which most Mexicans are very willing to do. The rooms overlooking the street are very noisy in the evening because they are on the mariachi band “circuit”. However you could just view this as a free concert and it stops by around 11 pm so we slept fine.

Bed was super comfy, room well decorated staff very nice. We needed to iron our clothes for a wedding and they provided immediately a steamer which was super great to use.

For the price, I was a bit surprised to see that we are facing an interior hall/staircase where all the guest voices where echoing straight into the room. Also not great for privacy as your conversations can be easily heard. No windows to close so you can keep the sound out and light in. Just wooden panels. So you have to choose between light or privacy.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the center and just a couple minutes walk from a number of sights, restaurants and shops. It was modernized but still offered rustic charm and was very clean and well kept. As many others have mentioned, the rooftop bar is amazing!

Hot water was not available for showers. While the hotel is actually pretty insulated from city noise the rooms themselves are not very sound proof which means you can clearly hear what is happening in the courtyard where many of the rooms face. The night we stayed a couple had hired a private saxophonist to serenade them while they danced in the courtyard. Charming in theory, but not so much when it is taking place 10ft from the door to your room and it’s just getting started at 11pm. The acoustics in the courtyard really amplify sound and ear plugs didn’t even muffle the sound. Perhaps plan for not so great sleep. The hotel is not flexible for early check in, like not even an hour early without paying a pretty hefty fee.

Perfect location! Right in centro, walk to everything within a few minutes. The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and a hello. They were available for anything we needed. (Tip: If you don’t speak Spanish, download Google Translate!)

The pool wasn’t good. No comfy chairs and pretty cold water. Very pretty little courtyard, but didn’t have a hang out feel to it.

Early risers are equally catered to with a charming poolside café. Facilities: While I didn't have the opportunity to experience their wellness spa, as most of my evenings were spent on the captivating rooftop enjoying sunset vistas and a refreshing beer, the offerings were indeed tempting. We frequently opted to remain within the hotel, basking by the poolside or taking in the mesmerizing cityscape from the rooftop. Tech-Savvy Comfort: For those needing to work or access the internet, Antigua Trece stands out. Unlike other hotels, each room boasts individual high-speed WiFi, ensuring consistent and reliable connectivity. Ideal Locale: Nestled in the heart of Centro, the hotel's location is a mere 1-5 minute stroll from major attractions and an array of splendid dining options. Our time at Antigua Trece Hotel surpassed every expectation, offering us an unforgettable experience of comfort, culinary excellence, and captivating views. We departed with a profound sense of gratitude for the remarkable stay we had the privilege to enjoy.

The location was great, very close to the Mercado and Jardin. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was great, the room was clean and designed with a great attention to detail. The view from my bedroom window was wonderful

I could't figure out how to make the coffee maker work, maybe it was broken? It would have been nice to be able to access the rooftop patio for sunrise.

A modern, well equipped hotel with a beautiful roof top terrace overlooking the city. The hotel was very clean and staff helpful, it is also well situated in the town centre with a short walk to sights and restaurants/cafes.

Our room was situated right next to the reception area and opened into the breakfast area, so there was a lot of noise coming through. The roof terrace can host private parties and when that is the case, there is a lot of loud music coming through until late at night and the town is also known for singing tours, which pass the hotel regularly - we heard one as late as midnight on one of the nights. So I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are an early/light sleeper or at least make sure you request a room at the back of the hotel.

Amazing hotel with small and small pool. Staff was friendly and always willing to answer questions. Spa was great! Amazing location. You can walk to the Hidalgo Mercado, theatro, callejon del beso, pipila and amazing restaurants in the city center. Be prepared to walk up a small hill to get to the hotel. Our van was unable to access the hotel entrance but it was not a problem for us. Hotel doesn’t have an elevator which was also ok for us. Terrace was amazing. They had amazing food and drinks. The views were incredible. You could see Pipila and the university from the terrace. We will definitely stay here again when in GTO.
