This is an exquisite property. The owners and designers have thought of everything and taken full advantage of the hillside kocation.. The terraced grounds have beautiful views of the splendid landscapes. The staff is first class and the breakfast room is small but charming. I visited in early December, so the Palacio Duquesa was charmingly decorated. The location is ideal. Ronda is compact, so walking is great. Head up the hill from the reception, veer left off the road with traffic, pass through the forested plaza with the wonderful water feature. Continue to the left, hug the cliff from plaza, to bridge, to the clifftop promenade. You will understand why the Romantics were smitten by Ronda. It is divine.
Everything was wonderful! Getting through the narrow arch in the old battlements can set off proximity buzzers in your rental car, be brave!

It is quite beautiful and has a very peaceful atmosphere. We were welcomed very warmly and our room looked amazing. The breakfast is excellent and the coffee superb.
The sound insulation is not wonderful. We were not disturbed at night but we could hear conversations in reception during the day. We stayed on the two nights that the hotel restaurant is closed and after being directed to a restaurant nearby we discovered that it was also closed. It seemed lots of places were closing in November. It would help to have a list of good eating places with a variety of price ranges.

We loved the location which was in a quieter part of Ronda and good for parking. The hotel we were told was a private home at one point and it must have been a fabulous house. I think it would be great for a wedding or small party with a group because there is a large tiered outdoor area, and pretty well everything you need. Our only regret is not staying longer . I did try for a swim but in late September with a bit of a wind in a large unheated pool, it was really chilly. We thought the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was served in a lovely patio area. The hotel view is spectacular, and I loved that you could see the farms below, and that there was a walking path to get down to the bottom of that area. Our bed was very comfy, with good pillows, and a very nice bathroom.. The decor is quite modern and fancy which isn't my usual style, as I like the bohemian look and feel, but the rooms were so new and clean in a gorgeous setting so I enjoyed it. They offer a small fridge with snacks and drinks if you need for an added fee, and it was incredibly comfortable in our suite with some seating, and large windows to look at the view. I just wish it had been a few more days there in Ronda.
nothing.

Beautiful place in the quiet part of town. Everything is new, as the hotel opened up in May 2024.
The rooms are placed around a central atrium. The door to the room and to the bathroom are paper thin so you can hear every conversation in the reception, and you can watch your partner sitting on the toilet through the gaps around the door. The rooms were heavily scented due to scented artificial flowers and plants everywhere. Amateur waiters in the outdoor restaurant. In case of a fire, we would be trapped in our room since it only had an unreachable ceiling window.

We loved Palacio de la Duquesa. The hotel was even better than expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was so clean and spacious. The outside areas especially were beautiful. The pool, sun loungers, and outside dining areas were all emaculate and a great added feature. The location is a short walk to the main centre of Ronda, and is a perfect area to stay. Parking was also easy and free in the square near by. We highly recommend staying here.

Lovely relaxed place with a beautiful farden and an incredible view.
The room wasn’t perfectly clean. It wasn’t filthy either. It needed a good vacuuming. I alerted management who came up to look and they agreed with me. But the cleavers had left for the day so nothing was done to rectify the situation other than an apology. Not even a complimentary breakfast or glass of wine. I think for the price they could have done better.

Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location. A short stroll from Puente Nuevo bridge yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to be quiet and relaxing. The pool and bar area was perfect to chill out and is situated in picturesque surroundings. The hotel is very nicely decorated and our room had a nice balcony with a view.
The hotel bar area was closed on the Monday of our stay although it may have been a bank holiday.

The whole atmosphere including the personal was extradonary. So dog friendly too! Beautiful views and nice rooms and the amazing terrace and nice pool
The only thing that drags this Down from 10 to 8 is the beds. We really couldnt sleep very ell either of us. So some more soft matress + some better pillow would be my recommendation But again we would come back for sure just Bringing our own pillows 😂

Beautiful and serene hotel with excuisite interior and kind staff. We had the whole place almost to ourselves! Definitely recommend for a romantic getaway. Hotel is located close to historic landmarks in the old part of the city. Almost want this gem to stay hidden so we can come back whenever…
We liked everything. Some noise cancelling on the doors may be good as they’re thin, otherwise perfect.

If you dread feeling like a tourist, this is the place for you! The short walk into town, is inviting. The hotel has truly mesmerizing views of the countryside, sitting on the terrace created a sense of tranquility. The trees are just gorgeous . The staff is pleasantly & quietly there to support you!
Nothing. Grab a spot here before it gets too hard to get in!
