The location is great! The room is clean and tidy! I love the French press and the coffee! They provide you with a Polaroid camera which makes for quite an experience! The bed is comfortable! Great restaurants near by and the walking to all tourist attractions is easy from here. A super market or literally 1 min walk from the hotel entrance! The hotel is also very accommodating! They allowed us to check in early. The app makes everything easy to access!

So we made the booking with “breakfast included”. What we didn’t expect is that there is no breakfast on site. We had the option of going to three cafes and redeem a voucher. Not the best “value” for money. Not a negative but some new and different. Not to my liking.

I had stayed at another BOB W in Helsinki before and now travelling with my partner booked another one. It was again an excellent stay! We love the concept of paying attention to sustainability combined with all comfort one needs away from home. The shared kitchen/lounge is very nice. The location was very central and in spite of being located next to a night club there was no noise at all in the building. Communication via the app worked perfectly. Highly recommended!

The bathroom is a bit tiny but ok. I would expect that people would take off their shoes (wet and with snow) when walking from outside into the common kitchen/living room but even the staff was not doing that. The places recommended for breakfast were full each day. But no problem there were enough other options in the neighbourhood.

It’s a good project with no human reception onsite. Room is spacious and the bed was comfortable Staff is responsive to online questions Room and bathroom were very clean. French press coffee and some good tea in the room was great! They also had small oat milk pouches in the fridge and also some welcome chocolates, which was great! Hotel Location is good, walkable to the centre (around 1 km)

Luggage room has very few lockers and is always full, so don’t count on it. You can leave it outside the lockers at your risk. Temperature control in room doesn’t work. Kitchen in the room is not of use without a stove or a sink. But there is a bigger kitchen on the ground floor. So it’s ok.

Laundry room and social kitchen are a very added value. We used them and we love them. In the social kitchen we only took a cup of tea and waited for our laundry, but the ambience was cozy and quiet. Also every part of the furniture and the equipments are really nice! Nice room, funny equipment, free gifts (like a beautiful tote bag) and above all Polaroid at our disposal! Nice location, right close to the center and to Kauppatori and to many markets, pubs and restaurants. Staff very kind and always ready to answer you.

Only the luggage room was completely unsatisfactory. Baggage stayed one upon another and to pick up our before leaving was quiet challenging. Also the space on the lockers was full! This is a point to improve.

This aparthotel is one of the best I ever visited. I highly recommend it for a business trip as well for holiday and sightseeing tours. It is situated at the heart of Helsinki, near all main historical and administrative sites, in a beautiful, chic and quite area. The communication with manager with very easy through messengers. To reach hotel and get into the apartment was very easy too, with code numbers. A room was quite large, comfortable and stylish, with modern equipment. A bed was comfortable too. The bathroom with a modern shower and all shampoo you need. I will definitely return to this hotel when I visit Helsinki next time.

Bob W is a dream! The retro-style room is simply perfect! Equipped with everything and more, from the USB sockets near the bed and a phone charging cable, to the soft lighting system. The bathroom is very clean and equipped with everything you need (cotton swabs and makeup remover pads, large bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner). In addition, on the blackboard in the room we found an instant camera for taking souvenir photos, and a free shopping bag. But the real touch of class is the sauna, which by booking becomes an intimate and private experience, a real cure-all against the harsh cold of the city. Also noteworthy is the check-in system, automatic and keyless, without stress. If I ever return to Helsinki, Bob, we will see each other again!

Modern and new! I love the concept of having communal spaces, like kitchen, laundrette and the offer of luggage storage are all fantastic! (Especially we could hang around and rest before taking our Santa Claus Express overnight train). The location is fantastic as well, where most sights are within good walking distance, including the railway station. There is a grocey stall nearby as well, which is such a plus. Although the check-in is all online and there is no physical reception, communication was prompt and smooth over whatsapp. Our queries and concerns are all addressed timely. So good is our stay that we returned for another night with them after our lapland trip before flying home. Highly recommend!

Honestly, none! All perfect in my opinion.

The location was pretty much perfect, and at a price competitive with much less central hotels (which isn't to say it was cheap - this is Helsinki after all). The trade-off is that there is is no reception staff - it's kind of half-way between a hotel and a homestay. This worked perfectly for us, but it might not be for everyone. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, with lots of nice touches - plenty of complimentary coffee and teas, a phone charger in case you forget yours (we hadn't), bathroom sink deep enough to fill the kettle, small fridge, etc. etc. There's a large communal kitchen if you want to do some proper cooking; we didn't make use of it. There's also a luggage room available for use until the evening of the day of your checkout. There are some lockers, but unfortunately they were all occupied when we checked out, so we just left our bag in the corner - the door to the room is also locked by keycode (though theoretically anyone who got through the front door could use the same code to access the luggage room). Anyway, our luggage was still there when we came to retrieve it, and being able to spend our last day in Helsinki unencumbered before heading back to the airport was greatly appreciated.

More lockers in the luggage room would be useful, but space is limited so that might not be feasible. Also, the lights in the room were programmed to dim and turn off after a period of inactivity, which was a little annoying if reading a book or watching a film. But there are lightswitches at each bedside, so it's easy enough to turn them back on.

Everything was clean and new. Room is big and there were enough space to sleep and maybe eat breakfast before all day of sightseeing. The room was fully equipped there were even bottles to fill up with water, joga mats and a bag. Location is perfect . I have seen that there was also possibility to go to sauna and use washing machine but unfortunately I had no time to try it.

Cleaning during stay cost additional money. I have stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and I think that for that long stay should be at least one cleaning for free. There were also issues with connection my phone with tv. Sometimes during watching a Netflix movie the connection was broken. I know that watching tv is not that important but after all day of sightseeing all I wanted before sleep is to watch something 😂

I have stayed at Bob W in Oslo and loved it but the Bob W in Helsinki is even better! Big spacious room with everything you need and very modern design. Bed was very comfortable and the sheets soft. Nice and quiet too which made for a great sleep. The extras that Bob W provides are great, free access to the gym, water bottles to use during your stay etc. Was located very central to everything so great for walking to the main sites. Also very easy to get to from the ferry terminal. So easy to check in and use the door codes. Also a place to store our luggage so we could go site seeing before our flight and know that it was secure.
