This hotel far exceeded our expectations! It is in a great location for all your transportation needs. The lobby is located on the 15th floor which means your room is somewhere above that. Our superior twin room was on the 23rd floor and was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. There were lots of amenities that we made good use of. We appreciated the size of the room that left space for us to easily move around in as well as keep our luggage off to the side. The window view was nice. The buffet breakfast at this hotel is one of the best we've had! Not only was the variety of food choices amazing, but the barista style hand crafted coffee was awesome! A word of caution - the hotel is located above the train station and you can hear the trains at night (freight trains pass through here), but the hotel did let us know ahead of time. It didn't bother us much as we were exhausted from sightseeing and fell asleep almost immediately. If we go to Nagoya again, we would definitely stay here!

Almost everything to like, very few to dislike.

Why with all the good things about the hotel, why does it have to let guests wait till 3pm to Q to check in? Especially those like us who arrive on the 830am flight to Nagoya. Soon as rooms are available, a 12-2pm check in would have been kind to us. I guess behind the facade of efficiency, there are conflicting demands amongst various operations that necessitate this rigid (almost silly to the unenlightened) rule. And to see the long queues at 5pm and the poor front office staff working frantically to check guests in, it almost seems frustrating to all!

convenient location with clean neat rooms. It's above shops and the train station so very easy to get around. Could hear the noisier trains going past but just barely; not enough to be annoying. Was a good breakfast buffet.

The hotel is in a great location, above the main train station in Nagoya and pretty easy to find. The facilities are modern and super clean. I booked two rooms for our family of five. They set up three beds in the corner room for our three children, which accommodated them well. Our rooms were beside each other on the 20th floor and the view was fantastic. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating of our luggage storage before and after our stay. The surrounding area is great to walk around and see the sites of Nagoya.

Depending on where you come out from at the station, finding the lifts to the lobby area on the 15th floor can be a little tricky.

Hotel is located beside the Nagoya station and bus terminal where you can take JR trains and buses to other places. It is a short distance walk to the hotel. There are plenty of food choices and there is a Takashimaya mall for your last minute shopping. Check-out is quick n easy where you can just drop off the card into their key box. Hotel staff were very kind to allow us to deposit one of our luggage as we head to Takayama before coming back again.

We spent 6 nights at the hotel, 3 nights during our first half and another 3 nights on our last leg of our holiday after coming back from Takayama. Breakfast can be improved as it's the same every day. The bed in our room that was allocated for our return stay is not so comfortable as it feels like the mattress is sunken in the middle.

The location in the station was convenient if u plan on trips from nagoya. The rooms although small but felt spacious due to the windows and the amazing view of the city. They took care of very small valuable details many hotels miss. The tv is bigggg and has netflix. The control tablet has arabic language. The sofa was nice. Amenities in the room made the experience soo great.

It wasn't easy finding the hotel in the station although many signs helped. But it was still tricky. I wish the type of iron used is changed to normal one (without iron charging base). The light need maintenance they're flickering.

We stayed here the night after we visited Ghibli park, and chose it for the location and knowing that we would be tired after the park. It was a luxurious and beautifully appointed -- if quite small - western-style room, with a nice view and a comfy bed. There is a shopping mall with an entire floor of restaurants in the same building as the hotel, so you don't need to eat at the hotel restaurant. But we did splurge for the hotel buffet breakfast, which totally delivered for us - It was incredible!

We chose this hotel for its close proximity to the train station, so we could drop our bags before heading to Ghibli, and then be close by to catch the train to Tokyo. The hotel was very close - but was still quite a hike from the train because we had to walk through a mall and then take the elevator to 15th floor, then another long stretch until reception. It took.us about 20 minutes to walk from the train. So, it was not as close we had hoped.

I love the breakfast, it is very tasty. The staff in restuarant are very friendly. There is a coffee machine in the room , I can enjoy a cup of coffee when I return to hotel. During raining day, I can go shopping in Takashimaya and Meitetsu Dept store. When I go to the airport, I only take less than 10 mins from hotel to the train platform. Before leaving, you can buy train ticket first then go shopping for a while. Besides, there is a currency exchange machine. All in all, if you come with kids, I think you should stay at Nagoya station rather than Sakae.

The location is fantastic, well connected with buses, subways, and trains. Just around the lobby, there are pharmacy, convenience store, starbucks cafe. Toiletries provided are beyond expectations. Rooms are clean. Most of the staff are polite and friendly. Well done!

I do wish the staff on duty can allow guests to register before 3 pm. My husband and I arrived at 2.15 on the 7th of Nov. As I wanted to go shopping and my husband just wanted to rest, I checked with the counter staff whether it was possible to register first so that I could go off while my husband wait till 3 pm. Anyway, we have stayed there earlier on and our luggage is with them. Very disappointing that the request was rejected. In the end, I had to go for my shopping at another building and rushed back around 3.30 pm to register for the room, and continued my mid-way shopping after that. Fortunately, the trainee who helped with our registration was friendly and pleasant.

Location is unrivalled. Right next to Nagoya train station and Meitetsu lines and buses. Easy to access all the key attractions around Nagoya from here. The rooms were clean, comfortable. Is a very professionally run hotel.

It's a little hard to actually get to the hotel lobby itself as it consists of taking a lift and a fair bit of walking. From the train station, probably takes 5 mins more. Rooms facing the train tracks need better sound proofing as the train running can be heard. Not very loudly, but it's there. For light sleepers, that can be an issue.
