Beautiful rural setting with outdoor seating overlooking the river and hills and yet only a 10 minute drive to Portree and only 5 minutes to Skeabost Hotel for a special dinner! Room 4 probably the biggest with a corner bath and quality shower, good TVs better than the pics! Luxurious towels. Good breakfast fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereals, pastries and once we were offered bacon or egg rolls. Option to eat in the room or dining room or guest lounge. So enjoyed our stay and will return if get the opportunity!

Mattress very soft and needs replacing. Duvet was.too hot for our stay so we removed it and filled the cover with a blanket instead so problem solved.

Very nice and spacious room, very well decorated, with cattle and wildlife themes. Everything was comfortable. Kettle and fridge available in the room. The self-service breakfast left at the door is a nice concept. Quiet and natural setting, with grass all around the house and outside tables where to enjoy the landscape and the sunset. Centrally located (to the isle), so exploring every corner was convenient, just 15m from Portree.

Maybe having a salty hot option in the breakfast would be nice, and the shower water temperature regulation was a bit annoying. But nothing major really.

House on the Falls was the perfect peaceful place to retreat to the Isle of Skye. Donna was a wonderful host! We loved that it was a short drive to Portree, a 20-30 minute drive from most points of interest all over the island, a lovely walk along the falls directly behind the house, a cozy atmosphere in the rooms and shared spaces, with a delicious breakfasts delivered to your door, and sheep & horses to befriend!

Great breakfast delivered to the bedroom door each morning. Very comfortable bed in a spacious room. The bathroom was also quite large with a shower and soaker tub. There was also a common area with couches and rocking chairs where one could sit and read or chat with other guests. Just a short 15 minute drive outside the Portree town centre. Plenty of parking available at the B&B.

Beautiful location. Friendly, very helpful host. Continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Spotlessly clean!

The only issue we had was our mattress. Whilst it is firm and comfortable in the middle, the edges have collapsed, and "dip" and do not naturally keep you on the bed as expected. I actually fell out of bed whilst asleep as I turned over and hit the point where the dip was.

The breakfast exceeded my expectations - Donna also made a breakfast available on the early morning of our departure. Donna, our hostess, was friendly, warm and went out of her way to see to our comfort. She made dinner suggestions that were marvelous, and was always responsive and available. The guest facilities are comfortable, clean and well thought out.

Trundle bed in the family room was hard to pull out and put back. A very minor thing, but making a hair blower available would have been great.

Very peaceful, close to Portree (7 minutes by car). Donna was a gracious host, prepared a lovely breakfast each morning (fresh bread - either croissants or chocolate bread), fresh fruit plate, yogurt/granola, muffins, and orange juice and milk, tea and coffee available in the room). Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided.

Lovely, quiet, peaceful location. Very comfortable bed, cozy bed and pillows. Was very impressed with breakfast! As vegans, we weren’t expecting much, but every morning we had a beautiful breakfast of muffins, cereals, vegan yogurts, chopped fruit, juices and warm croissants. Really enjoyed the stay and would return.

The room was clean and the location great! Breakfast was wonderful and communication nice and easy.

The room was too small for four people. Although we could sleep comfortably, it was nearly impossible to open a suitcase for lack of floor space. Also, there was no space to hang up clothes to dry or wet towels as there are no hooks.

Loved the rural yet centered location on Isle of Skye. So peaceful and dreamt yet 10 mins from everything you need. LOVED the animals right outside our door/window. Interacting with Bonny and Bob the horse and pony was so cool. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Would happily return!

No ac/temp control in the room is only complaint but that’s a hard ask in this area. Made do without it!
