We really enjoyed this adorable small hotel with air conditioning and extremely pleasant staff that were able to understand our broken French. We picked this particular hotel because it is an affordable option to be located fairly close to Gare de Lyon, a 20 minute walk with our luggage without the need to order a taxi or take a metro, as well as a free service of luggage deposit before and after check-out. Very close to grocery stores, about a dozen bistros, a metro station and a boulangerie. Our room was ready for us at 12:30, which was an incredibly pleasant surprise. Very quiet at night.

I booked this hotel as I took my wife for her 70th to Paris. I booked it on cost for 3 nights but had stayed in the area before. We used Eurostar from London to Gare Du Nord so the metro link was ideal. a 5 Minute walk from the La Bastille station from exit 1. The hotel is ideally position for travel to the Eiffel Tower using metro and RER using a Navigo pass. The rooms are small but a good bed, table and excellent shower.. our room 503 had a small balcony. Breakfast was very French but lovely and the lady on the reception and I think owners were very friendly and helpful. Our daughters surprised my wife on her birthday and they booked the same hotel with room 303... same as 503 but no balcony... again they really enjoyed their one night stay. It is noisy in the evenings as outside there are a variety of food shops with riders waiting to take from Just Eat Deliveroo etc and they chat a lot but it eventually dies down. There is a Monoprix supermarket opposite for any essentials and many restaurants and bars around .... a great location and hotel. We are planning to go back in the warmer weather as we really enjoyed our stay

The bed was comfortable , the shower was powerful, my room was spotlessly clean and the towels were great. The hotel is yards from Metro Bastille and that makes crossing the city as easy as it can be. I loved the area. The Staff are great and made me feel welcome right from my arrival.

This is not in any way a criticism of the hotel itself... but a solo traveller will have to pay a city Tourist Tax of 15e per night . For a reason I cannot understand, modest hotels like this one attract the same tariff as 5-star Paris ' palace' hotels. The details are in the fine print of the relevant regulations but this anomaly was a surprise.

Great location/comfort/price combination. Comfortable bed. Room cleaned daily, you can make tea/coffee, everything for it provided in the room. Central location. Close to metro. Lots of places around for dinner/breakfast etc. Very enjoyable stay. We stayed for 5 nights and will happily book again in the future.

This street is very loud, very busy all through the night, so if you are a light sleeper it might be a problem. Personally after walking around Paris for 6-8 hours, we were so tired that noise didn't matter.

The location more than makes up for any shortcomings you might encounter. Also, please don't place too much emphasis on past reviews, as the hotel now has a new team dedicated to ensuring your comfort. Our room was air-conditioned, so we didn’t need to open the windows. However, please be aware that you are in the heart of a city that never sleeps, so quiet nights should not be expected

The staff were the kindest people ever, so welcoming, I felt nervous coming into Paris as I’ve never been before and the staff were so lovely and helpful. The lady (I do not know her name sorry) who checked us in was so kind and helped us with metro information.

There was a bit of dirt in the corners of the shower and the room had a view of a brick wall but we were not bothered as we were just sleeping at the hotel and travelling all day! Overall the hotel and staff were amazing!

Located at 1 minute from the metro, it was a very nice hotel with a lot of facilities. A market was located right in front of the hotel, on the other side of the street. The personal was very nice to us and they offered help 24/24 if needed, everyday we had room service

The boiler got broken so we didn’t have hot water for 2 nights, but during the day the water was fine. Also, the floor was a little bit dusty and the room service didn’t notice that

The location of the property was amazing. I had easy access to train stations as well as a bunch of nice cafes and shopping areas. The staff was very nice and helpful especially as someone who did not speak a ton of French. The air conditioner worked extremely well. Water pressure and hot water for the shower was great as well.

The building is a bit narrow but that is apparently typical for the area of France.

The room was super clean. We asked for white bedsheets and they did that which we really enjoyed. The staff were very nice, the location is excellent. I will def come back here. The other people at the hotel staying were also very nice, I didn't hear anything at night. And they have someone at the frontdesk 24/7 which is perfect.

the lift was kinda small, when coming in with luggage it can be tricky but without its ok. kinda scary at night.
