I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Tour de Cause. The most beautiful grounds, perfect for breakfast in the garden, or a relaxing evening read. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I was alone, but the location is perfect for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast room was fully stocked with maps, pamphlets, and suggestions for activities and sites to visit in the area. I also really appreciated that they had some beverages available for purchase as well as complimentary coffee and tea.

The only thing I would suggest is having access to a car or bike, as this is not a walkable area and the roads aren't pedestrian friendly.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - a great start each day. We felt very well looked after by our hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We were attending a family wedding at Chateau Lacoste and the location of La Tour de Cause couldn't be more convenient. We enjoyed the pool area - especially to cool off after arriving on a very hot day. The bed was very comfortable and our room was stylish and spacious. The decor of room and bathroom had a lovely 'rustic chic' feel which add to the sense of comfort.

Nothing Just one small question the room description mention the special feature of this room was a pool with a view, there was no pool view from this room May be the we did not understand correctly what was being described

The location was perfect and the property was beautiful and very calming! Jean and Anne were lovely hosts and very helpful in booking a restaurant for us on the first evening, as well as having lots of great recommendations in the local area. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade items like yoghurts and jams and freshly cooked eggs, which was a real treat. Would highly recommend staying here as a good base for exploring the local area.

Everything was perfect!

Overall, a very nice stay in the Dordogne. Excellent European style breakfast; fresh figs off the tree, homemade jellies and marmalades, pancakes and eggs made to order. Close proximity to attractions. Jean and John (our hosts) are friendly, professional and were always willing to help. This was by far the best part of a 4 week vacation in Europe!

This was the best experience I could imagine in the area. It’s really close to Château de Lacoste and Château de Castelnaud. The hosts were really nice and friendly. The property super clean, comfy and charming. I loved hanging out at their amazing pool and the breakfast was the best! It’s personalized and really delicious. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to people who want great experience in a beautiful area.

This property is in an excellent position to access all the major sites in the central Dordogne area. The place is a real charmer with the most helpful and kind hosts. Jean and Anne have created an immaculate environment. They serve a delicious breakfast. In warm weather, the spacious pool was an added treat.

Beautiful property, great rooms, nice pool and grounds and good breakfast. In a great location to visit nearby villages and markets. Jean and Ann are always on hand to assist with places to visit and restaurant bookings.
