Where to begin? This place was perfect for our family of four and seeing everything this area has to offer! Starting with the kind and helpful staff who accommodate our evening arrival, to the beautiful two-floor family room with patio. The wifi is strong, parking is on site, and it's quiet and lovely! The view of Beynac castle is incredible from the property and the even have a swing set for the children. We loved relaxing by the pool every afternoon and had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas even when we had 40 degree Celsius heat. The lobby has a bar too which was nice for coffee and apero in the afternoons. Breakfast was delicious complete with boiled eggs, cured meats, delicious homemade cakes, and all kinds of breads, cereal, jams, and cheeses! Beds are very comfortable too and the space upstairs for the children was roomy and ideal. We can't wait to stay here again and it made our visit to this area just perfect!

The location is fantastic! The hotel owners were so kind, the pool and patio were great. Everything clean. Loved it!

I would’ve liked an actual cup in the room for morning coffee and tea. The paper cups are like the size of Dixie cups and to have coffee and tea in the dining room wasn’t free. All I really needed was a proper cup to brew my own.

The whole experience, the staff were exceptional. Our room with a terrace and pool view was ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with excellent parking and unbelievable views. The breakfast was superb.

This small hotel is very conveniently located for visiting Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Baynac and the surrounding area. The spectacular town of Sarlat is only 12 minutes away. The rooms are clean and it has everything you need at an affordable price.

The beds were small and not very comfortable. No mosquito netting on the windows, so we couldn't sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was OK but not great; probably best to drive to one of the villages' bakery and get something there for breakfast.

Like a mini-resort, with great swimming pool. Good base for walks to sights in the area. Great breakfast, with simple meals, wine available for dinner. Very friendly owners. Good wi-fi

Edge of village, so most patrons are car based, although within walking distance to buses.

Very conveniently located in the heart of the Dordogne, only minutes from the river itself, but set a bit apart from the tourist hubbub. Rooms open off featureless corridors and have little individuality but are well-equipped (fridge, kettle, TV) with immaculate modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Ours had a small terrace for sitting out, with pool view. It is possible to park very close to the room and there is plenty of space around for exercising a dog. There is no dining room but numerous restaurants are within a few minutes' drive. An excellent breakfast is offered at a very reasonable price. All in all we were well content with our stay at the Oustal de Vezac.

Recently renovated rooms. Great pool area. Wonderful and plentiful breakfast. Very helpful owners who want to make your stay as wonderful as possible.

The breakfast was excellent, such a wide choice! The location could not have been better, in a valley with a castle and chateau’s, a fairy tale position. Lovely swimming pool area. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Nothing to dislike

Good location, fabulous breakfast (not included in price we paid for the room). Bravo L’Oustal de Vezac for having a good brand of loose leaf tea and wonderful infusers in fine glass mugs, best tea I’ve had in a long time. My friend said the coffee was very good also. Nice little outdoor terrace with lovely views accessed from room.

Room was a bit small.

I’d say I liked everything! People are very nice and the room is comfy with a good mattress (which is important).

But this is more of a France issue: there is little vegetarian/vegan opciones for breakfast. specifically in the milk section… they didn’t have oat or soya milk, only a small almond brick. But a part from that, it breakfast was lovely and if you are into cheese, they had plenty and in many delicious varieties. Very little complain overall
