A Fantastic Stay at TheLab Franschhoek I had a fantastic day at TheLab Franschhoek! The place was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. TheLab Franschhoek is conveniently located just a short walk from the heart of Franschhoek, making it easily accessible for visitors. The surrounding area is peaceful and offers stunning views of the nearby mountains, adding to the overall charm of the location. The amenities at TheLab Franschhoek are top-notch. The rooms are modern and equipped with home automation features, allowing you to control lights, blinds, and even the coffee machine with your voice. The property boasts a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and a large wooden deck where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The breakfast served is delicious and can be enjoyed on the deck. That I stayed too short

The views of the mountains from the pool were incredible. The jacuzzi was an added bonus and the breakfast was perfect. The room was so beautiful with the mood lighting at night and the choice of wine was fab. I recommend chocolate block. Only a ten minute walk to all bars and restaurants and a 4 minute Uber ride to the wine tram.

Nothing. It was perfect.

Check-in With Dyna went very smooth and very nice. Property very nice, also the general areas. The bedroom OK, but too white. Beds were more then OK! Staff in general friendly and helpful when needed.

Some colour on the walls would make the room and the property a bit warmer. The beds were more then OK, but the Duvets could be supplied with thinner duvets for the summer, they were too thick and warm for this time of the year, even with the airco on. Regarding the breakfast; it was a pity we only had the choice of 3 hot breakfast options the 1st morning. As management changed during our stay, this option was not possible anymore the other 2 days.

The hospitality was very welcoming and the staff eager to ensure their guests were having a good time and taken care of..the manager was just outstanding in her customer service and hospitality. Thank you love, we will surely be back. The outdoor hot pool was just marvelous for the weather we encountered and the breakfast layout and spread was sooooo good. Lets not talk about the convenience of having 'Echo' around...she's your own personal assistant lol...ready to switch on/off lights and music at the tone of your voice...very impressive...oh and the block out blinds...a winner!!

The environment is echoey meaning if you did encounter loud guests you could hear everything or just talking a little louder than usual would have people hear your conversation within the room's that are on the inside 🤪 thats the only little negative aspect i encountered although it was hardly a bother as we got on well with the other guests.

Firstly Diana/Dyna😅 was amazing! She made me feel so welcome! She had a warm energy and I felt right at home! The property is located a 10-15 ride to the wine tram and not far from the all the shops. Property is beautiful, great pool area and jacuzzi! And the biggest game collection I ever did see! The fireplace room was a cool experience! Will definitely be back!

Only that I didn’t stay longer!!

Breakfast was amazing and filling! The staff were friendly and really took personal interest in each guest. The rooms were amazing and clean. The area and view at the pool is breathtaking. Facilities and wine selections are top notch! They even had beer on tap. 120% coming back to this place!

The only thing I did not like would be a personal thing. I am not the biggest fan of a walk-in shower, but the only reason for this is me feeling bad about all the splashing and cleaning I leave for the cleaning staff. Other than that I have no dislikes to this place!

Breakfast staff was so nice group of ladies. Gerard (general manager) was a person who really made our stay great. He is the best in business. Nice pool and wine selection. Easy parking. Quiet location but near the main street.

Breakfast could be a little more versatile, if you stay longer you might want change it up a bit. The first room we stayed at lacked privacy in the bathroom since the wall was glass. Second room was great with no such issues at all.

Really refreshing accommodation, very cool concept with all the automation features.Terence, Sheldon and the Spa ladies were great. Room was awesome. Comfortable bed and really great shower. Was too chilly to use the pool but did use the jacuzzi and was a good way to end off the stay. Walking distance to the Main Road with safe parking. Will definitely be back

We only stayed 1 night

We were met by Gerald who checked us in and showed us the lay of the land. Everywhere was pristine - my first observation. Our room was spacious, with a large wet room. Crisp white bed linen, just saying. Complimentary tea, coffee, water and toiletries. In the kitchen where optional breakfast is served, there is also beer on tap, not something I enjoy, but the man who cooks my meals was delighted. There's a great outdoor space with a small pool and loungers, too. Gerald arranged a taxi to a winery we had chosen to taste at. When the taxi was busy and couldn't bring us back, Gerald sent a member of staff. Above and beyond! The recommendation he gave us for dinner was fantastic and he told us that walking back after dinner would be perfectly safe. He was right. We loved our stay, brief though it was. Thank you so much, Gerald and team.

There wasn't anything to dislike
