Friendly multi-lingual staff, modern amenities, easy to check in & out, beautiful decor and with the unexpected delight of a balcony. We arrived tired and stale and very quickly felt revitalised. Excellent cocktails in the bar!

Huntertwasser would like the nature angle - the birdsong and jungle theme BUT it would be that much better with real plants around. As many as you can possibly fit in the foyer, on the balconies, by the windows, everywhere. The world needs trees, the cities especially so.

Clean, super cosy and spacious. The pillows were the best hotel pillows I have ever slept on and the duvet was so warm. The LED lights behind the bed really added to the cosy atmosphere. Shower pressure and temperature was fantastic! Staff were very helpful and kind. I booked this place off a review I saw here saying it's convenient location to airport and city centre and it really is. I'm a girl in my early 20s and usually find navigating in a new city hard but I found it soo easy!

As it is a studio type room with a kitchenette, having pots and pans would have been helpful. It does come with 2x mugs, 2x water glasses and knives forks and spoons and 2 small plates. But more equipment would have been helpful :)

Rioca is truly in a league of its own, by far the best accomodation we have booked. The distance to the city centre is compensated by great metro, tram and airport train connections. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed free coffee from Rioca. The room was cleaned, with a modern style and impressive facilities including TV, AC, bluetooth sound system, bed with RGB ambiental lighting, fridge, freezer, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and hair dryer. We loved Rioca and will definetly book again next time in Vienna.

The location is a little bit far from the city centre, but in a cozy district. The interior and the hospitality is great! And most of all I liked the Bluetooth mirror and table - having music all around you is just amazing!

The breakfast was a little bit poor, but there are some nice coffee spots around, so we had breakfast in there. Also keep in mind, that cleaning by default is only every 3 days.

This hole procedure for check in...they take your id, fill the forms and then you have to go to one tablet, verify the info, fill the email adress and then you may have the key. When you arrive in the evening, with a tired small child who is waiting in the car in order to receive the parking space...is a little to much time that you spend only for check in - around 30 minutes per room.

I have stayed for 6 days, everything was perfect, nothing to complain about at all to be honest. The hotel is so clean which was the main thing I was looking for in my room and it was very spacious as well. Staff is friendly, and when I had any concern they would be so helpful and tried their best to help me. Location is 20 minutes away from city center with tram, tram and bus station is 5 minutes away. Metro station is 10 minutes away. Transportation system is amazing so you won’t feel that the hotel is far away at all. Vibes of the hotel is so cozy. Free coffee and tea are such a huge plus where I got my mug from my room and refilled my mug with coffee to drink in my own room. Kitchen in the room is amazing and I have used the microwave multiple times to heat my leftovers from the night before. Thank you so much Rioca team, 100% recommending this hotel for anyone visiting Vienna.

Nothing at all the hotel felt I was in a luxurious hotel the only thing you may add is to that the kitchen needs to have utensils (at least one pot and one pan)

I had an amazing stay at Rioca Vienna Posto 2. The vibrant Brazilian-inspired decor created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, complete with well-equipped kitchenettes that made my stay exceptionally comfortable. The location was convenient, with excellent public transportation for exploring Vienna and plenty of nearby bakeries, grocery stores, and restaurants. The breakfast was a standout—delicious and infused with Brazilian flair—and the communal spaces were beautifully designed and perfect for relaxing. Rioca Vienna Posto 2 truly exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna. I can’t wait to return!

It took a few attempts to get a second blanket in the room. They clean the room every 3 days which I would have preferred a little sooner.

Although we are not very picky people, we do not give out 10/10 easily, so hear me out. First of all, my wife is a very visual person and we immediately noticed the cozy, yet stylish interior. Most of all, it was clean (thanks to Veronica!)! Second of all, the neighborhood was quiet, just in the area of the University of Vienna. There were students around, but nothing loud or inappropriate took place. Third, there was a nice little bakery just 30 seconds from the main entrance. Fourth, there was an amazing local restaurant nearby (suggested by the reception), which was the best restaurant experience in Vienna for us! Fifth, my wife is usually freezing most of the time, but in our room it was warm! Nevertheless, most of what took my heart in this place was the atmosphere: friendly yet not inappropriately overwhelming. And it was the small things: free coffee every morning on the ground floor, lounge area in the rooms to sit by the table and have a snack, TV that could be turned to see easily from the lounge area, luggage storage for our very last day in Vienna, environmentally conscious room cleaning. All of that made us feel like welcomed guests!

Yes, the hotel was rather far away from the city's central area. There were plenty of public transportation options to take, however for us as proud sportish people it was reasonable enough to get to most of places on foot.

Excellent stay, staff very friendly, perfect location for me attending a conference in the IMP. Room was clean, big and bed was comfortable. Excellent Wi-Fi & good facilities.

Room was a bit warm. No option to regulate the temperature

I stayed for 3 days at Rioca in January 2025. I’ll start with the welcome, which was friendly; the staff is very nice and helpful, and they respond promptly to any questions. The location is quite well positioned—slightly away from the center, but close to public transportation. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the tram station (5 stops to the opera). The room was spacious and clean. I would have liked if they had provided slippers, maybe 2-3 sachets of coffee/tea until you can buy some. For us, the balcony was important since we are smokers. From the booking photos, it looked like there was a larger balcony, but we got a small one where you could only stand. It wasn’t a big issue, though, as it was strictly used for smoking. What I considered uncomfortable were the mattresses and pillows, which were not very comfortable. Since we slept 4 nights, this was a bit of a disturbance. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We recommend it for the location (quiet area), cleanliness, and friendly staff, but in the future, we’ll choose another place.
