The beach side pool and restaurant are brilliant to spend the day chilling out. Location, setting and atmosphere is excellent.

The second building needs some refurbishment and updating. The rooms are dated and the furnishings could do with being replaced. They need to put an iron and ironing board into the luggage room for guests to use. The 24hour wait for laundry service isn’t good enough for a hotel of this stature. The receptionist made up a story about health and safety regulations being the reason for not having an iron available to borrow but I checked with several other hotels in the area and they do offer this service.

Location and real value for money booked the riu down the road but they cancelled our booking 4 days before our stay so this was last minute booking stayed in the riu last year so new were this hotel was .we loved the snack bar right on the beach we had a mountain view lovely .the hotel is on both sides of road but there is a tunnel under road so it feels like one building next time we come to nerja we will be staying here

Location excellent Pool area on the roof beautiful & the view was stunning Everything was clean, room cleaned daily. Breakfast outstanding We weren't expecting somewhere so nice for what we paid Bit of a walk to town but bars by hotel, and plenty places to stop on way. Beach by hotel lot quieter than the beaches in town.

No negative points at all

The location beside the sea was fantastic and only a short walk into town. Fantastically clean. Beds very comfortable. Great shower.

Rooms basic and lack imagination and storage. Bedside lockers would have been useful and maybe a couple of shelves to add interest.

It is in a fabulous location. Accommodation staff excellent pleasant and always had a friendly hello every day. Would highly recommend this hotel

Location, food good

The sea view room was amazing. A little balcony with a table and 2 chairs, laundry hanging wires etc. Plus it had a bathtub - it was a very pleasant experience to stay there. Both breakfast and dinner buffets had enough variety and tasty food and the price was very reasonable. Parking on the nearby streets is free, so no need to use the paid parking facilities that are provided by the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel parking area was full anyway, but we always found a free spot on the street. People in the reception were great, always smiling, always saying Hello, always accommodating all our requests. A shoutout to Jesus for the best hospitality!

The memory foam pillows are extremely uncomfortable but since they seem to be widely used in Spain, I guess the spanish people like them. The estonian people - not so much.

The property was spotless , clean and tidy

In the bedroom there was no where to put clothes other than a few hanging hangers but not enough for too people , bedside lockers would have been good to put socks and underwear. Instead we were left dressing from a chair in which one used for clothes and the other dressed from their suit case in which wasn’t convenient for a weeks stay . When returning from the town to have our last drink knowing the bar closed at 11 we got to the bar at 22.52 only to be refused by the barman saying they close at 23.00 when we discussed the time we were still refused . To say the least we were not happy with there being 7 minutes left before closing.

The hotel is in a fab location right in front of the beach and ten minutes from the town. Our sea view room was dated but comfortable overall. But we were in the building across the road which was disappointing. And I wasn’t aware when booking that there was a choice. The breakfast is good enough and plenty of room even though it can be busy at times. They could maybe try to address the issue of long queues for the coffee/hot water. The staff are all very friendly.

The ground floor pool is busy most of the time and we couldn’t get sunbeds any day. The rooftop one is not quite as busy. But they could easily double the amount of beds on the rooftop. We were disappointed that there is no where to relax outside except the bar area.

The location was excellent and the sea views were great

Breakfast was poor. Juice and coffee were from machines which were undrinkable, buffet was adequate however we avoided it 50% of our time there. It felt the produce was budget brands and therefore difficult for staff to make it taste good. Whilst our room was spotless it was tired and in need of renovation. Corridors to rooms were badly lit and in poor repair. Drinks in the bar were expensive, staff were largely uninterested and it lacked atmosphere. Coffee unavailable after 11 15 pm as they turn the coffee machine off early. We love to have a few drinks in our hotel before bed while on holiday but didn't bother inspite of it's wonderful location.
