Good location, amenities were good, service was good, staff were good, room was clean and everything was modern, WiFi was excellent, very close to mrt.

We had requested for a double and two singles but got two doubles since the request was more than 5 months before arrival, you would of thought this would be ok on arrival, but it took a further four days. They didn’t have very good on site food, but other hotels on the same street had so wasn’t a major problem, plus lots of hawker centres around and about. Both of these negatives are not show stoppers I would without hesitation recommend Somerset to anyone going to Singapore and will likely stay there myself again.

overall is good. Every room has air considitoner and clean, Location is perfect close to tration station and facilities are great.

Cleaning Staff not work efficificently when customer arrived. we arrived at 12pm and then told us come back later, we come back at 2pm again and ask us wait. we ask again at 3pm and told us not ready. until 3.30pm the room is ready and they told us the room can be ready between 3pm and 7pm any time. It shocked me based on their answers. we have been delayed three times when check in. They could work flexiable based on priorities as the previous customer already checked out at 12pm. I could give 10 if without this happenening.

Great location for the historic and financial centres and opposite the downtown train line so immediate access to the Bay Area. Multiple buses too. Very quiet hotel, excellent service from front desk and room cleaning. Lovely pool. I can’t find a fault with this hotel.

Everything was perfect

The apartment was big and spacious. We were six persons distributed on two apartments. The smallest apartment had one bedroom and the big one had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both apartments had fully equipped kitchen, which is perfect. It was shampoo and showergel and toothbrush for your convenient. There was also a iron, but it did'nt work good. The shower was good, no power shower. On the rooftop there was a good swimmingpool and towels. The fitness room was not very big, but had just what you need to do a good workout. We checked out at 12 o'clock, but stored our suitcases in the hotels storage room. Our flight was late, so we had a whole day in Singapore before leaving. The hotel was so kind to let us all take a shower on the toproof and also provided towels for us. Very nice people in reception and housekeeping. The location is good and there is MRT right outside the hotel. We are very satisfied with our stay and will turn back. Recommend strongly this hotel.

Need a new iron in the smallest apartment.

Fantastic location, with plenty of well-priced food options around for takeaway. Super close to the Bencoolen MRT, and easy to walk to other sites around Singapore city. Loved having the kitchenette for a toddler, and the bathroom being seperate from the bedroom. Rooftop pool was clean and big too! The staff were very accomodating with helpful advice. The noise from building works wasn’t bad at all, even when we stayed at home from 10am-12pm so our daughter could nap. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

The only thing I can pinpoint was that the rug in the living room wasn’t well-vacuumed when we arrived, we then used it for 5 days and it wasn’t cleaned.

The hotel is attentive. Initially I thought my mum is coming to stay with me from nursing home. I just ask there is transport for wheelchair they give me wheelchair access room which is bigger than other room. Toilet and bathroom is also wheel chair access. And it is easy access to garden, laundrette in the 05th floor. The stay is around chinese new year. It is good to have kitchen in case no food surrounding. Bed is comfortable. Ease of access to bus, mrt station, airport as well (blue line and change st expo and to airport

Maybe remote.on the tv need to change battery but I didn't ask to change. The toilet seat may be a bit high for asian height.

The location was amazing! Next to everything and well connected by public transportation. Great pool, gym and jacuzzi at the rooftop (the jacuzzi water was cold which is understandable given the regular weather but still was unusual). The kitchen was well equipped, although you really don't need to cook. There's a food court right at the corner called food dynasty which has good variety and low prices.

Internet. The wifi was quite slow at 10 Mbps or less. We tried both the regular wifi and the vip connection with the free membership and neither worked faster. It was steady, never stopped working, but it was slow. The apartment was comfortable but not what I would expect for the price but I understand that Singapore is really expensive.

A family favourite that we always come back to. It was wonderful for all of us. The location cannot be beaten. With three train lines within walking distance, and multiple bus options, you can travel to anywhere in Singapore from this location. The place brought a sense of relief and relaxation after travelling or a long day. The staff are kind - allowing us to leave our luggage before we even checked in as we traveled to Malaysia for for a few days, then letting us shower before our 9pm flight.

The location and meal options quieten down at night, much like any cbd would. It won't stop us returning though.

The apartment was clean, big (according to Singapore), with fully appointed kitchen and the ensuit with a bath tub! We were very happy with the facilities in this hotel too! Very close to MRT and buses. The staff were really helpful, cheerful and kind, very professional! The lobby was very cosy, allow people to rest, without any interruption from staff. They also provide cooled lemon water (all you can drink) in the lobby. I really like it!

The internet connection was a bit unstable, but only for the first night. Also, the air conditioning in the main bedroom kept have this running water noise at night, we were having trouble to get a good sleep on the first night, but then we got used to it.

Really good location and very friendly staff. The beds were comfortable and the place looked after and clean, plus the price was good. The pool area was really nice though there are a lack of chairs/sun loungers.

It was just a bit tired, in the photos the apartment is well dressed to look homely and welcoming and though it was a fine and adequate for our stay it did make arrival a little disappointing when the apartment didn't have the 'homely' items and feel that were represented in the pictures. Small things like scuffing on walls, mastic in bathroom needs replacing etc just took the edge off the place. We didn't use the kitchen so can't comment on that.
