This is the forth time that we have stayed in this hotel. It's really handy for getting out and about to explore the area due to it's central location. The staff are friendly. I requested a low floor when booking and it was no problem. I would use this hotel again.

I paid for breakfasts and I was most disappointed to find that the hotel no longer offers the buffet breakfast. It was nothing fancy (eggs, toast, rice dish, salad, fruit, orange juice, tea/coffee etc.) but it set you up for the day. Now you get a small cardboard box containing some salad leaves, cold baked beans, mushrooms, an egg (fried/scrambled), small slice of ham (or similar) and half a waffle. You get a choice of tea/coffee or orange juice (served in plastic/paper cups, along with the plastic cutlery). It wasn't value for money and I'll go elsewhere for breakfast on my next visit.

The location , staff and cleanliness

The room was cut up in a very confusing and illogical way. No wardrobe to hang your clothes and where they could have fitted one , there was a mini fridge which should have been located under the shelf where the kettle was. The hairdryer was stapled to a wall near the kettle far away and inaccessible to the mirror which was on the door of the place that housed the fridge that should have been a wardrobe. The walls were stark and devoid of warmth and colour to which a couple of prints or paintings would have made it more homely. However let me again stress that despite the mad design and sterility of the room , our stay was pleasant and the staff , location and friendliness compensated for Summer View's (avoidable) shortcomings.

- Good Location and easy to access to shopping area such as Bugis Junction and Bugis+, MRT Bugis, local market etc. - Friendly staffs and good service. The team had done greeting with their smiling in every morning and evening time when going back from outside that made us so impressive. - Room clean with good smelling.

- Room size quite tiny staying 2 persons with TWN room but if compare with location and service, we could forget about disadvantage point concerned.

It was in the middle of everything we wanted to go to. Staff are also very accomodating and hospitable towards all guests.

The lack of bidet and how thin the walls are inside the room. You can literally hear the water pressure coming from the shower in the bathroom and the water going down the drain and piping. Their airconditioning also needs a little updating.

second time to stay here, clean but simple and no frills hotel and room; walking distance to many local interesting places - St Joseph Church on Victoria, hawker center, MRTs, National Library, even Raffles City Mall isnt too far a taxi stand right in front makes it easy to get one even without an app

Very neat and clean. Nice bathroom. Strong aircon.

Pillows were a bit hard.

All the necessary features with a modern well equipped bathroom and an effective A/C Sadly the choice of free to air television programs was limited and mainly Chinese clientele favoured. I wouldn't choose this hotel again unless access to pay tv channels or a better English speaking range, Room service for an iron was good. No pool, no restaurant and no tourist information available unlike other helpful hotels

Summer View Hotel is very good and clean and easy to get around. Bus stop just cross the road.Little india also near by.Shop mall eating place seven eleven also very near walking distance. Taxi stand also just outside the hotel.Airport to hotel only cost me SS 22 comfort taxi.Never take limo taxi very costly. The room is a bit small but does not bother me.More importantly, is very clean.

Could be handy if they have a luggage storage facility.

The room had all your basic necessities. Close to most tourist destinations (around 10 min drive or less). Walkable distance to food halls and eateries that are open early till very late (some 24hrs). Heaps of food options for whatever you’re feeling like. Many other goods and services close by so it’s easy to get groceries, 7/11, salons, souvenirs, etc. The highlight of the hotel is Mel from night shift. Very attentive and made us feel welcomed. Would stay again just for him ♥

The hairdryer was a little weak for my preference. Nothing major.
