The unit I stayed in was excellent, beautiful furnishings, pretty good kitchen (ice cube trays would have been very helpful). The furniture was very comfortable and had everything I needed. I felt at home.

The stairs needed to access all units was not clearly explained in the booking. The appearance from photos was that everything was on a single level. Interestingly, I got multiple emails before arrival telling me that if I had reserved a two or three bedroom unit (I had not) then I would need to access those via a staircase. It never mentioned that all units are accessed via a minimum of 1.5 flights of stairs, and many require more to access.

Location was very good for my last minute booking during a very busy season in SFe. While it was too hot for me to walk down to the plaza, my traveling buddy partook in the walk and found it very accessible. From the first night we were there, I noticed a security guard driving by quite a bit and I really appreciated that, helped make me feel secure! There's a nice hiking trail right outside the door as well, so that's convenient. Rooms, bedding, everything was clean. A great value, good location and check-in process (especially for folks who come in late, like me) was very straightforward and simple. We didn't get an opportunity to try out the shared indoor pool, but maybe next time!

Minor quibble, nothing major. There was no salt & pepper or basic food amenities that would've been helpful. Coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, water bottles, even maybe some light snacks would've been great. I would say the king bed in my room was probably too big for the size of the room (my knee kept running into it when I tried to walk around it), but not a big deal. I would say the only downside is not having the opportunity to view/choose the exact property you want before arrival. But what we got suited our needs. Thank you!

We loved the house and its surroundings. We had the place all to ourselves with a small area in the back of the house where we were able to sit, relax, and enjoy the view. It is very close to the central area of Santa Fe. We got to walk to the Plaza via the historical trail by Fort Marcy Park. We experienced a real home feeling during our stay. Yes, there were stains on the carpet as mentioned in some of the reviews, but for us, that is what made us feel like at "home" rather than a "hotel." The check-in process was very clearly communicated after booking and straightforward at our arrival. Will for sure return and hughly recommend the place!

The house is stocked up with pots/pans, plates/bowls, and cooking/serving utensils. It would have been nice to have basic seasonings besides salt and pepper. Bring your own oil and tin foil if you place to cook/bake. The crumbs under the couch cusions need to be cleaned (really homely like).

The facilities were just great. The setting was quiet and the view from the porch in the morning was just beautiful. There was a fully equipped kitchen - excellent. Overall excellent value. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again even for a longer stay.

The person on reception was not helpful on check-in. I had requested an early check-in and it had been communicated to me well in advance that it would depend on the day - completely understood. On arriving, I was told that the room was not ready but I'd be kept up to date and called or texted when the room was ready - having had a 3 am start, I was really hoping to check in a little early. This never happened - and I was contacted at 4 pm to be informed of check-in at regular time. Unfortunately, a request for a 1 hour later checkout was also not possible. Otherwise, this was a perfect stay.

My daughter, son, & I stayed in unit 43. I met my wife while living in town in the late 90's. My daughter was born in Santa Fe 21 years ago and had never been back for a visit - I was trying to make it special. We were on a long road trip and stays in previous location were hit & miss. Our eyes lit up in unison as we entered our unit at Fort Marcy. It was gorgeous! Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable for the three of us. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, and proximity to the plaza was fantastic. I cannot say enough about the staff. They are extremely friendly and courteous.

I know it is rare that it rains in Santa Fe, but poured as we arrived, and led to a couple minor slip/falls coming into the unit. Perhaps a small rug at the entrance would help.

Room 57 owner decorated the 2-bedroom suite with lots of beautiful paintings & potteries. The suite has a kitchen with plenty cookery tools, cups, plates. You can see the owners care about the details of living. The location is fantastic, a short stroll to the plaza, via a small path through Fort Marcy Park & Cross of Martyr providing a glimpse of Santa Fe history. Loved this place.

the louse noise from the fan. the office said they cannot do anything about it as all rooms will have loud fans!!!

The suite was beautiful. There was plenty of room for my family. The suite was well appointed and well stocked. It had all the supplies we needed for a pleasant stay. The views were unbelievable! On our first morning there a deer walked right passed our window. Overall it was lovely and we were sorry we had to go when we did!

Honestly, we liked everything. In our case, we didn’t read the fine print and missed that there would be a lot of stairs. We could have requested a different room if needed, but it was all good.

Condo was good size - as were the bedrooms. Bathrooms (2) a bit small, but functional. Location of Fort Marcy Suites was perfect - we walked to the Plaza quite often. Toured Fort Marcy park, too. Beds were very comfortable.

Condo could have been cleaner. There was a half-eaten Dorito on one dresser in bedroom. Condo was a bit beat up - paint chips in walls, cracks in floor. Outside light did not work, and bathtub was clogged (filled with water when showering). I did call to complain about light/bathtub. Both were fixed immediately.

Very attentive staff. We had a water leak, and the maintenance folks and housekeeping took care of that after hours very efficiently! Nice people.

Dated facilities, needs updating, floors are uneven, Blinds didnt work in the entry area. Kitchen is dark, and there were few spoons in the drawer, fireplace andirons were afwul. Beds were comfortable, hot water was great, and the shower was nice although it was difficult to adjust the direction of the spray. Not very good value for the price. Location is very convenient. Other units may be nicer than the unit we stayed at.

Location is good: not downtown but a pleasant 15-minute walk from the Cathedral and Palace Ave shops and then left to the Plaza. Driving navigation is easy. The kitchen was the best equipped that I've come across - there was even a little omelet pan for my usual breakfast. Coffeemaker was the basic large glass pot basket-filter type so I used my own little camping filter but there were plenty of filters in the cabinet. (Plenty of dishwashing soap but no sponge. These days I always bring my own.) The bathroom had pump bottles of shampoo, body wash, conditioner and hand soap. Fast hot water. Units are all different - mine didn't have any window views but there was a pleasant porch for morning coffee. The photo is taken looking north from the sidewalk outside the unit.

Be aware that there are lots of outside stairs since the buildings are on hills like much of that part of Santa Fe. This makes for lots of great views, but plan on bumping your rolling luggage up and down the stairs.
