The property has a traditional and historic feel that fits perfectly into the Santa Fe vibe.... The staff was exceptional. Our room was clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the in room wood burning fireplace one evening and enjoyed cocktails we were able to bring up from the bar...Our 3 night stay exceeded expectations and we will definitely be back again, and next time we will bring our dog!
$30 daily "amenity fee." There are really no amenities to speak of, so consider it a daily parking fee if you drove a vehicle and the availability of lobby coffee and packaged cookies in the morning hours. There are 2 sister properties, which we were told you can use their small gyms and other facilities if you want to walk the few blocks...

No breakfast to speak of, they do have coffee in the morning, a bowl of fruit. In the afternoon there is usually a plate of cookies. The parking is underground, well lighted, a very nice perk! The location is unbeatable. Hundreds of shops and dozens of restaurants/cafes/coffee shops within easy walking distance. The French Pastry Shop at La Fonda was our favorite for breakfast!
Not a complaint but a warning. If you want a huge suite and beautiful views this not the place for you. If you want a cozy, homey atmosphere with friendly staff, a comfortable bed and fabulous places to eat and shop then don't overlook this hotel. We loved it!

The location was fabulous and the ambiance also quite nice. Staff were friendly and helpful as we were checking in and during our stay. The adjacent bar/pizza restaurant were a nice place for a nightcap, or to just have a low key dinner at the property. Having the front sitting room separate from the bedroom was a nice plus, even though we didn't have anyone over for a drink. It would be a big sales point if we were traveling with others. The bed was really comfortable.
The bathroom was really small, although adequate. Made it difficult for both of us to shower and get ready to go out at the same time. The drapes were dark and either open or closed, which made the room dark. Also, there were a few stairs up to our room. Not an issue for us, but could be for some.

This hotel has grasped the nature of the Santa Fe vibe. The rooms are quintessential New Mexico and ours had a nice fireplace, although the temps were warm and we didn't use it. The room was nicely decorated and clean, and provided both a sitting area and sleeping areas. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The on site bar had a generous pour, and we took advantage of the small area of outside seating on a beautiful day. It is very centrally located in downtown Santa Fe.
Our room showed a little age, and the bathroom was quite small, but it met our basic needs.

The desk staff was very attentive. The housekeeping was prompt and efficient. The atmosphere in the common spaces was quite charming.
The varying rate on the room, $268.49-$553.61 was unacceptable. Our room,105, required a full flight of stairs for access which we are fortunate enough to maneuver. The bathroom held barely enough space for a toilet and a standard tub. The amenity fee of $30 per day was outlandish as the pool, gym and spa amenities were located in a different facility.

Charming building and rooms on an inside courtyard with strands of red peppers hanging along the banisters. Great location within walking distance to many museums, galleries and restaurants. A small bar attached to the hotel also made great pizzas. A restaurant upstairs, which didn’t serve alcohol, but many places nearby to eat. Convenient underground parking.
Had to carry bags upstairs to room. Windows were hard to open and our room was rather dark inside but we did have French doors opening to an outside deck.

Location is super convenient being right at the center of Santa Fe. Rooms are around a long courtyard. Rooms are beautiful. Fireplace in room adds greatly to the ambiance. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. More comfortable than most hotels I've stayed at. Coffee always available. Parking is below the hotel and convenient in a city with minimal parking options. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Never felt like I was bothering them. Carlos came and made fires whenever we asked. We are repeat customers. What was not to like?

Great location! Walking distance to most attractions in downtown Santa Fe. Front desk staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations. We also had the absolute BEST smoked chili margaritas at the hotel bar.
A proper breakfast option would have been nice. Although there was coffee and cookies in the lobby. There was a restaurant just a few doors down that was open for breakfast though, so it wasn't a huge problem. But for the price, breakfast would have been nice.

We enjoyed the onsite parking, Keurig coffee and extra seating area with a second TV. The fireplace was a treat after walking in the winter weather. Location was perfect for exploring the plaza. The courtyard is charming. Everything clean and comfortable bed.
Our room was on a second floor with only a walk up. At our age and not being used to the SF elevation, I should have asked for a first floor room. Bathroom is quite small.

This was a unique place, like nowhere else I've ever stayed. I felt like I'd spent a night at a Spanish mission (or in a monastery?). Loved all of the religious icons and the Craftsman/Mission furniture. It was quiet, indeed serene. And the location was excellent: easily walkable to Santa Fe's central attractions. The hotel felt like a cross between the French Quarter in New Orleans and Carmel-by-the-Sea in California, two places I love to visit!
Can't think of a thing I didn't like.
