The staff was so kind!!! The breakfast spread was amazing and something for everyone. The location is within walking distance to the train station and in the middle of so many attractions and restaurants/bars. The room was super clean and a decent size. There are elevators/ramps so very accessible for nearly anyone. I will definitely stay again if I find myself in Helsinki in the future!

Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely Pinja. I did request a quiet room with my booking, as I was in town for the Helsinki Half Marathon. I did double check this and was given a room change to the 7th floor away from the lifts and the bar beneath the hotel. I slept peacefully. The room was on the smaller side, but perfect for me. Quiet air con, black out curtains and tea and coffee facilities. The location was perfect, a short walk from the main train station and right near cafes & bars and the harbour for sightseeing etc. Breakfast was on the busier side but it's the best selection ive seen at any hotel in a while. The fruit and smoothies were amazing (you can order omelettes and avocado on toast, but these incur an additional charge) Overall I had a brilliant stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Another shout out to Pinja, she is a real credit to the hotel and a fabulous reception, thanks for the chat.

I found the Safe to be on the smaller side, I couldn't fit my laptop in there.

Staff was extremely helpful and nice. The breakfast is very good, the room was nice and comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurant.

Sort of got stuck in a “back” room which was however cute and clean. It was close to the back entrance. Felt as a “step down”. As we travelled intensely we did not pay attention to all emails asking about upgrades. Not sure if it’s a thing with booking.com reservations, however it is kind of annoying to constantly get emails from various hotels offering upgrades on everything to do with the reservation. Anyway the room worked as it was except the nespresso machine was on a shelf where it was impossible to properly use it and had to be pulled half off in order to place the capsule inside.

The location was great, so close to all the places we needed to be. We had rooms on the 6th floor which had lovely views. We had a very large suite, like a penthouse, which was amazing. Breakfast was good.

We had a second room for our 3 adult children and the room was tiny. The staff were very unfriendly and inattentive. No welcome when you arrive, no smiles and you always have to approach them. They see you waiting but they don’t offer to help. Expected a bit more decor or something different with it being the Santa Claus Hotel, but there’s nothing special about it.

Lovely hotel, great location. Staff were friendly and super helpful, particularly excellent in advising how to reach Akeseli Gallen Kallela Museum and other special art collections outside Helsinki (Bolt and Uber), Porvoo (bus) and the Ballet at the Opera House (tram), all of which worked really easily and well and left us rested to explore. Very grateful for this. Everything else was within very short walking distance, it was all so central. Room staff equally helpful and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with many options and choice. Rooms are simple but had all we needed and are very quiet.

Really only that the windows in rooms don't open, for smooth working of the aircon, and never entirely comfortable sleeping without an open window. Also early sauna hours for women meant we never got to it as we were always out - perhaps swop times on alternate days? None of this would stop me booking there again or recommending the hotel to others. It was a really good stay overall.

We requested to change the booking for a room equipped for people with limited mobility. This was done at reception immediately, and we got a spacious room, motorized twin beds and a bathroom equipped for wheelchair access. Everything was clean and all hotel facilities accessible with wheelchair. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice in the buffet. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We were just staying one night, and have nothing to complain about. We had everything we needed. It would be better though if the fully accessible room would be available for booking on-line, not just at reception when arriving. It would reduce anxiety about its availability. We were there at low season, so did not have a problem to change the on-line booking.

I was able to check in when I arrived at about 12 noon. The breakfast was great varieties. Nice location near train and boat, comfortable room with rituals toiletries. The hotel also has rooftop sauna which I didn’t know until arrived. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful with a smile always.

The house keeping service had to be ordered and it didn’t came eventually so I have to request new towels myself. Sauna opening hours is too short and not make known to guests until I asked at the reception.

Great location at 5 min walk from the main train station and in the pedestrian area. But despite the location at the heart of the city, the hotel is very quiet even at the first floor (or second floor if you are from the US). The staff is great and very responsive. I needed an early breakfast one day and was very happy with the provided package. The regular breakfast is also really good and you have all the regular options (savoury and sweet). The hotel is really modern with a great design. The gym is small but good enough. The room (although different from the one booked) was well furnished and comfortable.

The breakfast spread was amazing. The staff were attentive and offered to bring us tea while we sat and ate. The front desk receptionist allowed us to check into our room at no additional cost because it was clean and ready! After a long day of travel, it was very nice to be able to freshen up before heading out for the day.

The bathroom in our room had a slight odor to it of sewage. It would go away but then would come back after we had been out of the room for awhile. Nothing that drastically impacted our stay though!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here especially the breakfast with the smoothies. I liked the modern feel of the room with light switches with multiple light settings e.g. 'sunrise', 'night' 'day' (I forget the 4th option). Great location for walking around the Helskini or getting a train to explore more of Finland.

No real complaints price other than that the price was a little high for 2 nights (roughly £176 a night) but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay so don't necessarily judge that too harshly especially as I paid extra to be able to cancel on the day of the stay.
