Right in the middle of town with supermarket across the road. East walk to the train station and the fantastic Galley Museum!

Lots of noisy workmen hanging around outside talking and smoking. Also, I didn’t see any staff members. Key was left in door and a sign on reception door to tell me which room - and I arrived not long after check in time so not sure where everyone was. Didn’t know what to do the following morning so just left key in the door and left - no info/guidance as to what to do with keys upon checking out.

For the price we paid we did not expect luxury. The room had all the essentials and was close to town.

The room was adequate but lacked some things which would have made it more comfortable. When we arrived it was unbearably hot in the room. There were no flyscreens and ba lot of flies and it was difficult to cool the room down. Initially when we arrived our booking had been mixed u so it took a while to sort things out but the person who had made the booking was very helpful.

The room was warm when we arrived, heating was great in Tassie winter. Room service was sparkling clean,.excellent job. Superb location, literally only steps away from anything.

The flimsy and cold, wet shower curtain sticking to you when in the narrow shower space. Nothing fits, not a cup, a kettle, not a palm fits under the tap in the new impractical washbasin design.

Great location in the centre of town. The room had everything you need including a microwave which was a bonus. The bed was very comfortable and shower was hot. Little dated but clean and comfy. What more can you ask for!

We had dinner in the restaurant and the food far exceeded our expectations. The Massaman curry was one of the best we have ever had and we come from Melbourne where Asian cuisine is of a very high standard, plus we have also travelled in South East Asia many times! The location was great just a short walk to supermarket and playground and cafes and bars in town.

The room was a bit dated but it serviced our needs adequately.

The staff facilitated our late check-in, the room was clean and the bed comfortable, sustainable products were available for our use, and it's walking distance to the pub, the lookout, the railway and everything else we were interested in!

THE ONLY ACCOMMODATION VENUE that allowed us entry IMMEDIATELY! WE ARRIVED 1130hrs, at reception, the room was READY AVAILABLE AND THE KEY ISSUED! THIS ALLOWED US TO FRESHEN UP AFTER THE DRIVE FROM STRAHAN AND USE THE TIME TO EXPLORE! THE LEASED OUT RESTAURANT WAS EXCELLENT! WE HAD TO RETURN TO STRAHAN THE NEXT DAY FOR OUR MACQUARIE HARBOUR CRUISE WITH HARBOUR MASTER 11 THE RED ONE! ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH MEMORIES FOR LIFE1

Location in town made it easy to walk around. Room was clean, bed was comfy, not much more to ask for.

Unfortunately the motel restaurant was not open the day we were there. Only open on certain days.

Handy location good price. Really good restaurant attached

It was a little old. When I arrived there I could not find staff to check me in or pay for my accommodation. Staff in restaurant tried to help. I accessed my room . All was ok

Staff were excellent friendly & helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant but going by the number of locals picking up take away, we will be giving it a go next time. Bathroom could do with an update, but overall could not fault the room for comfort & cleanliness Great value for money. Did I say how helpful the staff are?
