This is really the best hotel in Boracay I've ever stayed at! Seriously the room is huge and is so peaceful that I had perfect relaxation during my stay. They've set up an epsom bath for me in the tub and gosh it was so relaxing with the facial mist the flowers the cold towel it was so perfect! They also set up for me a full massage package in my room the massage was so good I was half asleep the whole time. I super love the outdoor shower I just can't believe how nice the whole place is. All guests know how to keep the whole area peaceful and calm you won't hear any loud noise from the other villas. The breakfast here was so good you can have them in your room while enjoying the garden view from the spacious balcony. The staff here really are the best in Boracay. They are so nice, attentive, polite, all well trained in hospitality. In terms of location, I'd say I don't mind the short walk to the beach in Station 3 since the moment you reach the beach you're already at the best swimming spot in Station 3. The depth of the water is so perfect, the sand so fine, and it's not as crowded as the swimming areas in Stations 2 and 1. I always enjoyed walking from the beach to Mandala as you will instantly feel the calm coming from the busy scene in Station 2 as you entered the street leading up to the resort. You can be partying loud at the bars in Station 2 and in 10 minutes you'll find peace and calm walking back to the resort. Despite having your own villa, the wifi worked perfectly and you can easily order food or drinks from their restaurant using the phone beside your bed.

I super liked everything!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandala Spa & Resort Villas, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially when I sought their help in surprising my wife. I had originally planned to surprise my wife with a bouquet from a local flower shop through the hotel. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the flowers couldn’t be delivered on the day. However, the staff at Mandala quickly improvised, creating a beautiful bouquet from the vibrant tropical flowers growing around the resort. They even prepared a bath adorned with jasmine flowers, the national flower of the Philippines, which added a special touch to the experience. My wife was absolutely delighted! The staff were consistently cheerful and kind throughout our stay. They even joined us for photos, making our time together all the more enjoyable. A particularly heartwarming moment occurred when I tipped the staff 200 pesos at checkout, suggesting they treat themselves to some ice cream in the heat. Later, when we returned to the hotel briefly, we saw them happily enjoying the ice cream together. It was a simple yet touching sight that left us with a smile. The hotel itself is a serene oasis. Despite the surrounding area being a bit dusty and noisy, within the resort, everything was immaculately clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The tranquility was a welcome escape from the bustle outside. As for the dining experience, we were thoroughly impressed. The food, including the drinks, was delicious. My wife particularly enjoyed the mangosteen juice, while I couldn’t get enough of the Filipino dishes and egg-based meals. The only minor inconvenience we encountered was the occasional lack of towel and toilet paper replenishment. We understand that this may be a cultural difference, as we are accustomed to having ample towels in Japan.

It was so peaceful! I could tell a lot of effort was put into making it a serene escape into nature. I loved how it relaxed all your senses, with the peaceful music playing, the essential oil scents and the beautiful scenery. The staff was so kind and helpful as well, it made us feel so comfortable during our stay!

The only thing I didn’t like was that there were bugs inside the villa at times. I expected this though so it wasn’t a surprise and I’m not sure how this would be prevented since the resort is surrounded by nature.

From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean, spotless and comfortable. We had breakfast included which was delicious. We ate in the restaurant for dinner quite a few nights and the food was fresh and very tasty. The fridge in the room was very useful to keep water and snacks in. Having laundry washed is easy and cheap. Beach towels can be borrowed daily from reception. Treatments at the spa are available to residents at 20% discount. Collectively we used the spa for 12 hours in our fortnight holiday. They are very cheap prices compared to UK and much better. Tuk tuk’s are great to travel around. Cheap and easy to use. The main D Mall shopping centre is approximately 30 walk from resort. Many diverse places to eat. Lots of shops with a busy friendly atmosphere. We hired a Tuk tuk for an afternoon to travel round. The driver was our guide and a great way to see the sights. The resort staff helped book a sunset boat trip. This left from Station 1 pontoon. Short trip from the shore there was live music. Once anchored out at sea we were able to use the stand up paddle boards, kayaks, inflatables and snorkels in the clear water. Coral Reeves below with beautiful fishes to see. Then as music flowed and the sunset set beautiful. Very calm, very relaxing and many memories to take away. If you require medical treatment there is a medical centre less than 100mtrs from the resort. They speak very good English and the prices are very cheap for treatment and medicine. There are steps from the guardhouse down to a road which goes down the side of the resort to the beach for use by residents. It takes less than 10 mins to walk to White Beach. When there if you head right it is busier and lots of people and hassle and bustle. If you were to go left it is quieter and less people so there’s a place for everyone. The beach is beautiful, the water crystal clear and warm. Mandala Spa Resort is a fabulous location, quiet and tranquil. 5 Stars.

Beutiful and quite place , an escape from the rush of the city, and yet very clost to everything. Located at station 3, only a few minutes to white beach. The staff is on another level, very pleasent and worm and made our stay really great. The facilities were spacious with full privacy, with attention to details such as music and smell in the rooms. They also offer healthy and dalicious food in the restaurant at the place, with affordable prices. There is also a Spa at the hotel, with wonderfull treatments and great packages to hotel visitors.

You feel like you are in the forest, it has a relaxing structure, away from the noise of the center, among many trees and greenery. Compared to the massages I tried in other islands in the Philippines, the massage therapists here were more educated, knowledgeable and had a medical background. Therefore, it was the message center I benifited most in the Philippines. Since it was a 10-minute walk from the beach, it was good for me to walk to do morning exercise.

Although it is a bit old hotel, it is a nice place to relax. Since there are many trees and greenery, you inevitably come across lizards running around on the walls of the room. But there is nothing to be afraid of, and the dogs passing by on the street sometimes bark non-stop from 2 in the morning until 6 or 7 in the morning. This was a bit disturbing. They need to enrich their breakfast options with vegetables and greens, In addition, in the spa section, a more moderate and flexible arrangement can be made for hotel guests according to the guests wishes. The strict attitude of the spa can sometimes offend hotel's guests.

This seemed to be a common issue in other clean restaurants outside the hotel as well, so it might be something to be aware of if you’re visiting from abroad.

Best and most luxurious stay I've ever had (in the Philippines and beyond). What a treat. The villa is so beautiful, with its big comfortable bed, elegant and traditional decor, glorious bathroom with a tub and outdoor shower. Even though the island is beautiful, we loved staying in and coming home. All villas are separated from each other, so you enjoy full privacy inside. No noise from neighbours. There's just an atmosphere of peacefulness in the air. The terrain of the resort is completely filled with lush green plants and trees. It's like staying in a jungle, but luxuriously. The restaurant serves great food, with plenty of options for vegetarians. It's a great place to have meals outside of the busyness of Boracay's center. The staff is outstanding. The kindest and most helpful I've come across in my travels. Very humble and polite too. We thank them for their warmth. The price / quality ratio was also great. We visited some friends at another resort in Station 1, which was multiple times more expensive than Mandala, and honestly we preferred our peaceful resort much more...

Everything was perfect.

Stunning property all over. From the lovely long, lit entrance to the huge private huts and outside showers. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday, the resort is beautiful - to be expected for the price you’re paying.

Breakfast is quite expensive if it’s not included in your booking. No pool, no beach access, (we knew this when booking, will not be downgrading rating for that) and only 10-15metres from local housing behind tall bamboo fences and some greenery ( which isn’t a problem until there’s karaoke at 11pm! The hotel looked into this, it was birthday party and a one-off, so actually fine. Again, not the property at fault, but there is a lot of wind at night on Boracay island, which means that if you are unlikely, large branches etc will fall on your hut roof and wake you up! Only noting this as it happened on the other 2 nights we were there.

We stayed in Villa 10. The room was fantastic and the view we had was great. We got to see the sunset and beach. The decor really did give us a sense of privacy and honeymoon vibes and was beautifully decorated with flowers! The music was legit played almost the entire time we were in our villa, this absolutely gave a sense of serenity and peace. This is the best place to relax and unwind! The birds and wildlife around the villa definitely gave the forest isolation atmosphere. The massage was fantastic! The day spa was so beautiful and I wish we had not had massages in room. Mozzie spray was also provided but we never had any issues with them. Location is great, not too far to Boracay main beach.

No block out curtains, as the windows are massive here there was no way to block out the light coming in. Eye mask is an absolute must for light sleepers. The mattress was comfy but we both found that the pillows were very firm and we both got stiff necks and had restless sleeps, we did ask for softer pillows but none were available. The water pressure was weird. The toilet kept making the noise you get when the toilet isn’t properly flushed. No actual hot water for bath, it was constantly Luke warm, was fine for the shower but the bath disappointed. The site tuk tuk is not free, one way only. The restaurant food was average but there was some stand out dishes, yellow curry, Mandala Spa breakfast and the chicken salad was delicious.
