Clean, renovated rooms. The staff are also very kind and helpful. There is a tube station just around the corner too, which is very convenient.

It was a little noisy, but nothing overwhelming. Also note the entrance is around the side of the building, off the main road. look for the little red awning to find the entrance.

We were able to drop our bags off as we arrived before check-in. We were given the room key as we knew we would be back late. The gentleman at reception put our bags in our room for us, which was much appreciated as we arrived back late. The location was great easy access to the tube, which meant we could get everywhere we needed to. The restaurants and takeaways on Brick Lane that we used were great value and served good food. The White Heart pub was good value and provided good friendly service. Would stay again.

Nothing hotel was exactly what we needed.

For the price, this hotel is a gem. The rooms and bathroom aren't big but they're spotlessly clean, comfortable and have everything you need - even air conditioning which worked perfectly and was very quiet. I found the location fabulous. It was a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street, 3 minutes to Aldgate East underground, 25 minute walk to the Tower of London. There is a wonderful cafe right next door, convenience store opposite, salad bar, restaurants and pubs all around. If I'm honest, when you arrive and see the outside (the entrance is around the corner, off Brick Lane, with a very shabby red covering) and then enter into a tiny narrow hallway with a very steep staircase straight upwards you do wonder whether it was the right decision, but if you're not willing to pay the extortionate hotel rates for the "posh" areas, don't expect "posh"! Brick Lane is lively and friendly but not so loud, as others have written, that it kept me awake. I've attached a photo of the evening view from my window. I would definitely stay here again if I return to London.

As I mentioned, the staircase is narrow and steep. The lovely friendly guy who checked us in ran down to carry our cases up so it wasn't a problem for us but I think it would be for anyone with personal mobility issues. There was no WiFi for our whole stay. There was a sign on the wall which said the WiFi was down due to "broadband issues in the area" but that sign looked very old and the sellotape it was stuck with was peeling off so I'm not 100% convinced that the WiFi actually works at all. Again, not a huge problem - most London pubs and restaurants offer free WiFi.

The Hotel was in a great location ,central to restaurants ,pubs very close to all transport links. The hotel is very quiet for the lively area it is in ,which makes going out and returning to the hotel really easy .I would like to say the staff bent over backwards to help if needed information or new towels ,coffee etc the staff would help without question. The staff were super friendly and made you feel welcome and my partner would go back anytime.see you soon Brick Lane hotel👍

Nothing to mention was a perfect stay

I was super nervous about this after reading older reviews however, the location was great, the staff was amazing and the room was just fine for what we used it for. And I have to say thank you to the staff who checked us in. They allowed us to check in around noon which saved us from having our baggage stored at the train station as we got into London in the morning. We spent very little time in the room and we just needed a place to sleep and keep our luggage and the room absolutely served that purpose. It was within walking distance of the Liverpool Street train station and the restaurant options in the area were incredible. The Brick Lane area was fun and quirky.

The size of the bathroom. Quite small.

Nice hotel in a fairly central location. booked fairly last minute and got really nice spacious room on a Sunday night for really competitive price. Check-in 2pm, and decent check out time at 12pm next day if you wish to stay that long and have a lie-in. Clean, spacious double room, with two beds. Sound was excellent (no thin walls or noisy neighbours), great location on Brick Lane, Own entrance key - you can come and go as you please. quiet, non-intrusive staff, nice hot showers. Hot aircon/heater was really welcome for warm comfort on a cold January night. Just a normal decent hotel, and a very pleasant find. Woudl definitely reccommend.

Excellent location, just a short walk from both Liverpool and Aldgate tube stations; Very friendly and helpful staff; The room was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

Noise issues have been mentioned by previous guests; personally, I'm a light sleeper but I brought earplugs and, thankfully, I slept like a baby. While the building itself might not be the most attractive, I believe it offers great value for money.

My room looked exactly like the photos. It was very clean, the bed was firm which I really liked. It had A/C, a flat screen TV and a fridge. The WC/shower room was very well finished although a bit cramped, as other reviews have mentioned, but it was fine for a couple of days stay. I read In a few other reviews that the rooms were noisy and I did notice some footstep noise from the room above early in the evening and some road noise early on However, later that evening it became very quiet and I had a really good night's sleep. Considering that this hotel is halfway up Brick Lane and within easy reach of many of the local attractions in that area, it was amazing value and I really enjoyed my stay.

The only thing I wasn't keen on was the stairs up to reception but that's more to do with my personal mobility and I would not hesitate to stay there again given the hotel's other advantages.

The room contained everything I expected, and more, as there even was a fridge. I requested and had very good wifi reception. There was a desk with a stool, an armchair with additional footrest, and a wardrobe. Everything was very clean. And quiet too, considering the location is pretty central.

If you really are going to make me think of something less ideal - you first of all need to go up a fairly steep flight of stairs because this hotel is located on the first and second floor, not the ground floor. But I received help with my bag on arrival and again on departure.

I stayed at Brick Lane Hotel just for one night in a single room. If you are primarily looking for somewhere to put your head down, this little hotel is a good option. Brick Lane is a cool area and there are SOOOO many great food options nearby. Tube station is also not far away. The room was simple and small, but clean and had all the necessary basics, like a hair dryer. Robin from reception was very nice. I was allowed to store my luggage before check-in. Thank you.

The bathroom really was tiny, which may be an issue for some people.
