Location between Pier/town and beach was perfect - short walk or scooter ride away. Had a room in land - was nice and quiet. We were on 1st floor - would recommend second floor as it probably has better view. Breakfast for 200 Baht buffet was good and at restaurant was helpful. Because of windy conditions did not get a chance to enjoy snorkeling in front of the hotel but it looked promising. Overall good value.

The 500 baht deposit. Didn't have to leave that in the other hotels we stayed in.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, the staff were friendly and helpful, we had the deluxe suite with the private terrace and it was lovely waking up to a sea view and watching the sunset every evening. Breakfast was not included in our booking so can’t comment on this. It is perfectly located within walking distance to great bars, cafes and restaurants. The pool was a great addition too when we didn’t feel like going on the beach. Would definitely stay here again, thank you to all the staff!

Hotel could arrange to pick up guests from the pier, they only provide a drop off to the pier upon check out.

They put in the room umbrella for rainy days and backet for the beach. Very nice for backpackers Near beach and restaurants etc

We booked the deluxe suite with private area / beach front and it was just an amazing view from the bed! Perfect to watch the November rain 🌧️

As i said, we booked the deluxe suite with private area to enjoy the sea-view but sadly we had to close the curtains mist of the times because no one respected the private area sign and we had people sitting in front of our window, on our private beach loungers, looking into our room not even caring (this is in the tourists, not on the hotel)! But maybe a tiny fence could make the private area more visually so the guests of these rooms can fully enjoy what they have paid for!

Fantastic hotel. Absolutely beautiful king room with balcony. The view is stunning. Air conditioning was great, very powerful. Amenities in the room were great. We had everything we could have needed and more. Room is cleaned daily and they provide complimentary water every day. The pool area is lovely, overlooking the beach. Nice and quiet around the pool area during high season. The hotel kindly decorated the room for our anniversary and made it so special for us. The shower pressure and wifi isn’t the best but we didn’t mind! The hotel also offer a free taxi to pier. Overall, we had a fantastic stay in Koh Tao Heritage. The staff are so kind and helpful and we loved our room, especially with all the extra touches. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Heritage!

The property is located within walking distance of Mae Haad Pier. The ocean view and the open air terrace were highlights. The Deluxe Ocean View double room was on the top floor of the oceanfront block so ocean waves and passing rain showers were the only sounds. The balcony is completely covered so you don't need to worry about a little rain. The view of the sea, the island and the busy harbor provides hours of enjoyment. The double bed was big and comfy.

The stairs leading down to the ocean front units are built with steps of various shapes set at different angles and no railings to keep you from stepping off the edge in the dark. When it rains (as it often does) the navigation becomes even more tricky.

Property is nicely situated on the walking street of Koh Tao, which is much quieter than the busier roads nearby. The room was very comfortable and the AC was good. Breakfast buffet was very nice and good value. Very friendly staff and there was a transfer to the pier for the ferry included for free on check out.

The economy double/ twin rooms were located in a corridor where all the windows looked out on. You either had to either sacrifice natural light or privacy, which was a pity.

Everyone, from the housekeeping team to the restaurant staff, was courteous, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure I had a pleasant stay. They responded quickly to any requests, and their warm smiles made the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel itself is in a great location, close to Sai Ri Beach, beach bars, resteurants, snaks, massages, shops, diving centers and many, many others, making it easy to explore the area. The facilities, including the swimming pool and resteurant, were well-maintained and added to the overall luxury of the experience. Overall, I highly recommend Koh Tao Heritage to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. Can't rate Heritage highly enough. The staff were soo accommodating especially Nancy and Chojo very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are very spacious with beautiful views. Make sure you go for a sea view one. The garden view ones are away from the pool area which we didn't realise at the time of booking. Nancy was very good at accommodating our request to move to a different room closer to the pool. We enjoyed some lovely sunsets. There is a lovely little private beach which you can snorkel off of. The breakfast buffet was the best we have had in our 3 weeks of travelling. Plenty of options and again the staff in the restaurant are so friendly and welcoming. Free taxi to and from the pier is an added bonus. Would 100% come back

The location of this hotel is ideal for exploring this part of the island. It is a short walk from the ferry port - but do be prepared for the small hill - and then a 5 minute further walk to the beautiful pedestrian street with all the local shops, cafes etc overlooking the beach and sunset. The room itself was not on the beachfront which I didn't realise but once there it was big and spacious, clean with all the amenities included. Can't really complain! The wifi worked well and I could work from there no problem. The staff were friendly on arrival with the thoughtful touch of providing you with some drink when you arrived as it was hot. Overall for 1 or 2 nights it was a nice place to stay!

It was quite difficult to find the entrance especially if you are walking from the ferry. The instructions could do with some more clarity and some extra signs to get you there. After a hot walk uphill from the ferry the last thing I needed was to do detective work to find where I needed to go!
