Don’t be fooled. The hill is a hike for sure. But absolutely worth it. The views are spectacular and it’s only about a 10 minute walk to the beach. We would walk up to the gold bar a few evenings to grab some amazing appetizers and drinks. The caretakers are wonderful and kind. The space is gorgeous and has tons of stuff to use for the kitchen. The pool is fantastic on a sunny afternoon. We got our laundry taken and done a couple of times as well. Super easy. Taxis are available if u have luggage or groceries and don’t want to hike up the hill with them. Cost us 300 baht each time.

A beautiful villa with an absolutely breathtaking view! Exactly as seen in the photos. The gardens of the property were lovely. It was a very special treat to stay here. We had a warm welcome on arrival, and easy communication throughout our stay. The villa was well decorated, and very clean! A well equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook and eat in the villa. Most local restaurants offer delivery to the villa also, so you can order in and relax and watch the sunset! Only a 10 minute walk to Sairee beach which was ideal! And a quick 5 minute taxi journey to the port. Couldn’t be a better location.

A small bonus would be to add some incense sticks or essential oils to deter mosquitoes when sitting out on the deck. Almost all of our time was spent outside looking at the view, just perfect! Other than the mosquitos!

We absolutely loved our stay at Over the Moon. We stayed in the Blue villa. Our host was super helpful and responsive. The view is incredible, perfect for sunset, the pool is exquisite and the villa itself is well appointed and very comfortable, set amongst beautiful lush gardens. Although it is very steep to get up to the villa, especially in the hot weather (we used a lot of taxis) and you have to walk up around 80 steps, don't let that put you off, it is well worth the effort! It's only a 10min walk to Sairee beach, where you can find lots of bars, restaurants and great spots to watch the sunset. Our host organised a cooking class for us and made a phone available so we could order taxis and food for delivery. Although we organised our own snorkelling tour, they can help with that too, as well as scooter hire, laundry etc.

The privacy and the view were outstanding. The location was fab for proximity to the beach and main hub of restaurants. The staff were amazing and services for moped and washing were great. The outside space was lovely. We enjoyed some fantastic sunsets. Overall our stay was excellent.

It felt like it needed a little bit of a freshen up to make it feel more luxurious. Some areas were a little grubby (light switches) and the towels and bedding needed a refresh

Loved the space! Super modern and clean with a tv and the bed was huge! If had everything we needed, fridge, loungers, towels, air con and private pool! The guy who greeted us was super friendly and showed us how to work everything and even how to order delivery up to the villa. The views and privacy were amazing

You have to be fit to get up there! Even if you rent a bike or get a taxi to the place, it has steps to climb. Not very easy transfer from the pier, maybe we had a bad taxi driver but he dropped us to the wrong place and the woman we rang didn’t know how to help us so we had to find it by walking. Miscommunication between the staff i think as well as we communicated with one person, but through booking.com, they didn’t know what was going on.

Modern, fully equipped so we could cook! Layout was lovely! Nice decking, partly covered pool so as the weather wasn’t great and was thundering and lightening we could still sit and watch it all! The staff were friendly, helped with hiring bikes for us, helped get taxi for the way home!

Nothing really! It was very steep steps and hills which for us the views were worth doing it! But for some that may be unable to get up the steps!

The property is up a steep hill, bear this in mind if you don’t plan on renting a scooter/using a taxi. We also didn’t have hot water for the majority of our stay, but once we alerted the host, he temporarily fixed it.

Everything. The property is stunning and we could not have asked for more. The style, the pool, the amenities are all 10 out of 10 and the people working there went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. This felt like true luxury.

Being in the jungle comes with lots of creatures! We noticed on a few occasions ants had made their way into the property but it never caused us any major issues. You might be woken up by squirrels running on the roof but it actually added to the charm!

Amazing property- has everything you would want in a luxury villa. Be prepared for a steep walk up and down from the property as this is unavoidable, but it's so worth it. Best place we've ever stayed in Thailand.
