We picked a large suite for the extra room and were please with the huge room. My wife enjoyed the tub to soak in at night. Location is very convenient to train station and local attractions. Breakfast selection was nice and plentiful.

Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working for the 3 days we were there. The room got uncomfortably warm and the windows do not open (they are nailed shut for safety reasons I assume). I checked with the front desk and they said they were “hoping” an electrician would come “today” but that was the story each day. They were apologetic and I asked if they had any fans and they brought up 2 oscillating fans. That helped with moving the warm air around but was barely tolerable. Since our stay was short and we were outside looking at sites we just sucked it up and did not make a stink. It would be a nice gesture to receive some sort of small compensation.

Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom small but functional. Staff were always kind and courteous helping with bags and dinner suggestions. Location was great in the same street as the Duomo but far enough away not to be an issue. Breakfast was good with plentiful buffet. Very easy walk from the train station and walking distance to all main sights.

There was a bit of road noise from people and traffic which kept us awake the first night but wasn’t an issue after that. Even with the curtains close it was hard to block out. The coffee was not great but there were plenty of places around which were better.

Location was great, close to the Florence Duomo and the train station. This made orientation to the city easy. Visited the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, Gallerie de'll Accademia with Michelangelo's David. Went on a local walking tour and a day excursion to the Cinque Terra and Pisa. The room was delightful with a balcony and reasonably spacious. Breakfast was in the room with the ceiling frescos - very special. Also tea/coffee could be obtained here outside breakfast hours. The ambience of these combined 'palaces' was lovely.

Limited power points in the room (2 and one did not work). Mosquitos in the room were an issue.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful; they were a real joy. The breakfast room was lovely and the breakfast buffet quite broad, offering something for every taste. I particularly appreciated that guests could get coffee, tea, and water in the breakfast room at all hours. One of the reasons I selected the Hotel Paris was because the room was quite a bit larger than the average for a hotel in the historic district. The location was perfect.

My room was at the front of the hotel on a low floor, and the noise from the street at night from delivery vehicles, taxis, and tourists partying at the restaurant across the street was bothersome.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and always warm with a smile. The breakfasts were good everybody could choose the favorite type of food. We really appreciated free coffee, tea, water and small snack during all day in the breakfast room is was really great! Also we could leave our luggages after check out and we could enjoy our last day in the city without them.

The outdoor walls of the hotel are under construction so the guests should count with a little noisy sounds outside during the day. But we spent our time here during weekend and nobody worked here so it was ok.

location was excellent. toiletries provided were very good, to the point that we ended up buying some body lotion from where they got it. something that was only in consideration 2 times in all the places that we have stayed at, the other one was in Japan. unlimited coffee, tea and lemon water also helps. staff were also exceptional, cheerful and attentive, especially massimo. place for breakfast looks beautiful as well, picture included.

in the room we got, the bed could have been better. it was 2 single beds put closer together, and mattress was firmer but the last one is more of my preference.

We booked a suite/ family room. We visited from India. Delhi-rome-florence.. ITA airways.. Our luggage got delayed in flight by 1 day. Having a baby along made it tough. The hotel managers at the reception were extremely helpful in all the things from where to get a new sim, to best places nearby, what to try in italy as well as collecting our luggage & even talking to airport luggage persons. Just because of their kindness & support, things got better for us. Thank a lot again.. especially to the young receptionist person ( sorry I dont remember the name). Because of you guys.. Italy is certainly my favorite country in all of europe

A very Italian experience. A very historic building with a fantastic fresco ceiling in the dining room. The room was very spacious and had lovely views over the city roof tops. The breakfast was excellent. Plentiful supplies of tasty options. Free hot drinks and snacks were available all day if you wanted to sit on the terrace or in the cool diving room. The reception staff were enthusiastic and extremely helpful. All the major attractions are within walking distance. There are plenty of excellent restaurants around the hotel.

It was a pity that there wasn't a bar to allow a cool drink on the terrace. A vending machine might be an acceptable compromise.

A brilliantly located hotel in the centre of Florence, within five minutes walk of the Duomo. Our room was perfect, and the staff had taken on board the requests made when booking (no steps between the lift and the room due to mobility issues and a walk in shower rather than a bath). Everything was super clean, the beds were extremely comfy, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

There was quite a bit of noise outside but no more than you'd expect for a city centre hotel over a weekend. The towels were changed every day even though we left them hanging up which was wasteful for a three night stay. Otherwise it was perfect!

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, within a walking distance from the Santa Maria del Fiore, and just some steps from the Santa Maria Novella square and the train station. Although our rooms did not have the painted ceilings and bed canopies that I saw in the pictures, they were comfortable and spacious and had everything needed, including the bathrobes. The interiors of the public spaces redeemed it all, making us feel like the old Palazzo habitants, especially the ceiling of the dining room - btw, the space was accessible even after the breakfast time for a cup of coffee/tea! Special thanks for letting us leave our luggage after the checkout, letting us enjoy the city for several hours before getting on the train.
