Location was amazing, the train station was 8 minutes away and the main attractions were within easy walking. The room was quirky, clean, and the beds comfortable. There was air conditioning, a sink and a mini fridge in the twin room. A small room but had everything in it. The private shower room for this room was across the main area used for breakfast. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, served with orange juice and coffee. Would definitely return.
Be aware if you are in the twin room that if you go to get a shower during breakfast time, people will be sat in the area outside your room. We just went before breakfast, so wasn't a problem.

Great location, right in the city and only 8 minutes from the train station. We had a private bathroom that was across the hall, but we also had a sink on our room which was nice so we only needed to use the bathroom for shower and toilet. The room and bathroom were a bit dated but quite clean.
Unfortunately the walls are a little thin and our room was near the breakfast area. Also there were some maintenance work at 5am nearby that woke us up; expect some noise because of the city and bring earplugs in case. The hotel is about 3 floors up with only stairs, so may be tricky to get to if you have a lot of luggage.

The location was perfect!!! 7 min walk from train station and just a few minutes walk to the duomo! the room was clean & quirky, when windows closed there was zero outside noise! Comfortable bed shower decent enough, couple of shower gel/shampoo’s left for us. I’ve seen reviews saying the free breakfast isn’t much but I disagree! We were given 2 pancakes, 2 croissants, 2buns (all hot) choc spreads, jams, cheeses, butters, some packets of Melba toasts, fresh orange juice & a gorgeous cappuccino! Staff were so friendly also. We arrived around 11.30am and was given access to room straight away and we were able to leave our bags on day of departure for a few hours till our onward travel times. All in all would definitely stay again if in Florence!
Only reason for marking it a 9 and not a 10 is purely because we only had 2 plugs that worked in room but one had the fridge & lamp connected to it so if you wanted to both charge phones or use any other electrical appliances you needed to unplug fridge which went quite hot inside very quickly! Also the toilet wasn’t connected to floor so slightest movement on the loo resulted in you getting the fright if your life when the whole toilet raised if the ground at either sides or back! 😳

This place is just a basic accommodation, but that is what I wanted. There is a breakfast, but I left too early in the morning to try it out. I usually don't eat breakfast anyway. The man at the front desk was very helpful. The room has only the essentials: bed, closet, TV, AC, desk and chair, bathroom with shower, and a small refrigerator.
The building has a very long staircase and no lift. I don't mind but I am sure that elderly people could find this a problem.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I was able to borrow a transformer (I traveled from the UK) to charge my phone. The bedroom was of adequate size and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. I also appreciated their storing my luggage for the day while I explored the city. The location is central, lots of restaurants and churches in the vacinity. Also a large bookstore near by, with a great selection of books printed in English. I had finished my book and was looking for more reading material!!
The stairs up to the hotel are very steep and the entrance location is a bit confusing to someone not accustomed to Italian cities. That really was the only drawback that I experienced

This quirky little hotel is in a 500 year old building and each room is decorated in the theme of an artist. We had the Michaelangelo room and really enjoyed it. There was plenty of space for us and we liked the provided breakfast. It was easy walking distance to see Michaelangelo's David, the Uffizi Gallery and the centre of town. It was also an easy walk from the train station. There were lots of places to eat nearby and also a laundromat (staying on top of the washing becomes of great interest when you travel with children for six weeks!).
It's Europe, and a 500 year old building so expect stairs. We found the entrance a little hard to find (although it was pouring rain, so that made it more difficult).

Location, location, location. It was perfect. Also around the corner, (up more stairs!), was a self service cafe. 3 courses, drinks for 4 under 50 Euros! It was so easy to get to the station, the Duomo and everywhere else. It fitted all 4 of us and we had a bathroom.
So many many stairs but the location and staff made up for that. The decor was a little tired and an acquired taste, walls a bit thin but I would happily stay again.

The staff was soooo great! They made us feel so welcome! They were so kind and attentive. They let us store our luggage and were so quick with breakfast. The location was terrific. Close enough to everything but far enough away from the intense center.
There was a sign saying you couldn't throw toilet paper in the toilet. So, maybe, improving the plumbing system would be nice.

The location is superb, the host is very helpful, met us at the hotel, explained everything we needed to know and the stay was fine with a small but good breakfast. The room was very unusual in the style which is very interesting.
The bathroom is for sure too small but it is not a huge problem and obviously the house is quite ancient so this is a chance to see how it was earlier.

Breakfast was lovely (nothing fancy, some bread, cheese, coffee and juice) and the lady who owns the hotel went as far as to knock on our door to make sure we didn’t miss it on our last day. They were all very nice!
I needed a warning that we were to pay in cash because I had not taken out the money prior to and needed to run to an atm.
