The hosts were easy to communicate with and were always willing to help. The location is a couple subway rides from the busyness of the city and just slightly on the outskirts of the crowds. The area is a quiet residential area and walking into the quiet and empty alleyway after a long day was always a relief. Fairly small room even when you have the pictures as reference but big enough for our needs. Everything is clean and well kept. I am very picky about where I sleep yet I felt so comfortable right away and everything is clean here. I like the apartment and self service facility since we don't usually need someone cleaning our room or checking in on us during our stay. I would stay here again when I'm in the area!

Nitpicking, I'd appreciate a bit more room in the kitchen. The sink in the restroom was pretty much unusable due to its size. All our hand washing was easier in the kitchen area.

Tucked into the quiet backstreets in the second-tier-trendy Shin-Okubo district, this thoroughly-modern apartment-style hotel was perfect for my six days in Tokyo. Five-minutes walk to a minor station along (each) a major train and subway line, it's easily-accessed, but peaceful at night. You get a kitchenette, bathroom (mine didn't have a tub, but a shower with a seat), soft, comfy beds with soft (western-style) pillows. The laundry-machine in the bathroom is a major boon.

The tv was a touch small, and I could constantly hear the neighbors bumping around despite the concrete walls (what were they even doing, I wonder?). The exit sign near the door glows like a green sun at night, and the blinds let in a bit too much light. Why is the bathroom eye-flashing green?

The flat is in a very good position, very close to the metro station and about 10 minutes walking to the center of Shinjuku. Even though it's in a busy area of Tokyo it's hidden enough that it's quite silent at night. Plenty of places around for eating, buying food and getting a coffee. The flat itself is simple but has all you need, as long as you don't need to cook: microwave, fridge, washing machine. As a base for visiting the city it's great, if you plan to spend a lot of time in the room you'll likely find it too small.

Nothing really. There is no lift but it wasn't an issue for us as we didn't have too many heavy bags.

Location was fantastic. Nice and quiet street but the local high street was a couple of minutes walk and had so much to offer in the way of food and essentials. Two train stations within five minutes walk but the main hub of Shinjuku was only a 15-20 min walk away. The accommodation was clean, the host was friendly and helpful and it was great having a washing machine as we stayed there for a week. Perfect place to stay for our family of three. I was sad to leave! Highly recommend.

Location is wonderful. It is 3-5 min. walk to both different stations. Neighborhood has a lot of grocery stores and restaurants. It's just 1 stop from Shinjuku but less busy and cheaper. Room was very clean and neat. Fridge is super cold. Air conditioning is close to too cold for summer time. Shower is strong and temp. for water is great. Private washer in suite so we can wash our clothes as we wish. Response from Jeffrey (staff) was super quick and all staff were sincere and polite to us.

The sink above the toilet was not ideal but you need to wash your hand at the sink in the kitchen or shower area. It didn't bother us too much.

Clear direction/instruction to the building location and room entry were sent 2 days before our arrival. The building is within 10 mins or less walking distance to the JR Yamanote Line (Shin-Okubo station). wThere are 6 people in my family; We stayed in 2 Triple rooms. Both rooms were clean were very clean. There is 1 bathroom and heating/air conditioning in each room, along with a washing machine and a drying function in the bathroom. There is a small table and 2 chairs in each room. A small microwave, small refrigerator, a kitchen sink, and 3 plates+utensils were provided. It is a bit cramped for three people and 3 pieces of luggage in a room. No fuss accommodation; it is small but very well thought out.

Water pressure in the shower was fantastic & the rooms and toilets were very well-heated, which was great in winter (you could adjust the settings easily). Washing machine was available and hangers were provided for us to hang our clothes in the room / toilet to dry. It is located about 4-5 mins away from Shin Okubo station, which is convenient as it is on the Yamanote Line that connects you directly to major stations like Shinjuku (just one stop away), Shibuya, Tokyo, etc.

The apartment might be considered small for groups of more than 3 pax (especially with luggages), but it makes it cosy as well.

Good value, clean and comfortable. Having a washing machine was great. The location is next to Shin Okubo station which is well connected (Yamanote line) but still far from major hotspots we enjoyed more near Shibuya (Harajuku, Aaoyama).

I would say the only thing was the lack of a true lobby to be able to store luggage pre-check in and after checkout. Our flight leaving got very delayed, so we found a nearby luggage storage to keep it there instead.

We liked how the place was new, very clean and very close to Shin-Okubo Station, to lots of restaurants/cafes, 7/11 and other mini-marts, Don Quijote, 100 Yen store and of course K-Town in Shinjuku. Everything was just a few minutes walk away. The location is situated conveniently and favorably close yet very quiet and private. We also very much appreciated the convenience of having a reliable washing machine and the exemplary drying fan. It is the first time that we have seen this specific kind of drying, heating, cooling, air-circulation exhaust fan. It is so great! We also liked the modern and minimalist interior styling which is composed of cemented walls, horizontal wooden slabs for hangers, gray and beige coloured linens/covers, white thick towels etc. The unit basically supplied everything that is needed, yet stylish. We also liked how accommodating the owners/management was during our entire stay and until we left their vicinity. They were kind enough to allow us to leave our luggages (up to a reasonable certain time) secured within the gate while we wait for our delayed flight.

A little more space for a family of 5 just because we have lots of luggages. We hoped we were able to hide them under the beds. Instead, we had to keep and move them around as need on the common areas: dining area/living room. Also, we hoped there's more space for shoes.

It was conveniently located and very close to the train station, super clean, the staff were very communicative and friendly over email, and we were provided a lot of things like slippers, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, etc at no cost. There was a lot of signage in multiple languages with pictures, and it was very spacious compared to other rooms I’ve stayed at abroad. 12/10 I will be staying again!!

Nothing at all.
