I have always wanted to stay at a container home. It was great. I choose the "family room" apartment 8. The place is just the right size, a good balance in decor between the "container vibe" and practical and esthetic elements. There are smaller room options available. There is a full kitchen with range, microwave, coffee maker, large fridge/freezer, sponges, dish soap. The bathroom has semi-warm water. If you lower the water pressure, it's a bit warmer. Toilet paper, towels, soaps provided. You can request cleaning service with the staff, if needed. The living room has a couch, smart tv, and a small bar - no desk. Not sure if all have it, or if deliberate, but my place had a Wi-Fi router and also a ethernet cable to connect to your own router if you are one of those that travels with one. Internet was fast and reliable. There is no window on the living room end of the apartment but the lighting is appropriate. The bedroom is in the back end, it has large floor-to-ceiling window doors that, with some effort, can open. The bed slept comfortable, nice pillows, a small bedside table, outlets to charge your devices, and some closet space. Both the living room and the bedroom have a strong A/C. There are a few containers stacked on top of each other, but most are not. Noise from neighbors is minimal. There's a central area which also had free secure off-street parking. The property is right in the downtown area, by the on-ramp to the main access roads, but on a dead-end street so minimal traffic noise. Ideal! A large array of tiendas and restaurants walking distance as well as Multiplaza Mall (Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has amazing cheesecakes), Riba Smith supermarket. Gas is cheap in Panama. Most shops and malls have (limited time) free parking. They have breakfast from 7:00-11:00 (perfect for late sleepers). It is made to order, a few different options to choose from, can be made vegetarian, and comes with coffee.

Could not fit the rest above :D Nothing bad to say. The staff is super friendly. Some speak English, and are always there to help. Best to connect with them through WhatsApp if you arrive late, they can send you self-check-in instructions. It seemed like many people were only staying for a few days, but I recommend this for longer stays as well. Due to the situation in Panama, but also because I enjoyed it, I stayed 5 weeks. If you work remote, this is the best spot.

The apartment is cozy and comfortable, the location is close enough to take a ~15 min trip to Casco viejo. The check in system was quick and easy (I highly recommend you watch the digital lock video as soon as you receive it). Overall it was a unique experience and I enjoyed it. PS: the shower is hot

As others have mentioned, the walls are REALLY thin, like I heard someone else snoring thin. But I was able to drown it out and fall asleep, you just have to be aware that the unit next to you will be able to hear you.

The accomodation is located in a quit street but close to a mall and some bars, especially a rooftop bar at "Luna Rooftop". There is a big parking lot in front of it and some car rental destinations in a distance of two blocks (5min to walk), if you wanna start your road trip through Panama there. You can reach the seaside by walking in 10-15min and it's really nice to watch the sunrise there.

We had a room, which was a bit dark because we had just a window in the sleeping room, but there are rooms with windows in the living room. The Wifi wasn't really stabel, we had a few disconections. Because of the separeted rooms it's hard to connect with other people.

I arrived late so I got a message how to check-in into my room -worked easy and quick - great! I had a single-room which was spacious enough, had an AC and was super clean. I had breakfast on the patio in the sun which was freshmade and tasty. There's a parking lot in the middle of the Container-Hotel where it felt safe to park the car (for free -great!). Neighborhood seemed quiet but there are not many things around like supermarket, restaurants etc.

The room is very simple. For one or two nights great but for a longer time I would miss some coziness.

Location is good. A quick walk from the main avenue near the F&F corkscrew building and a mall. Also nearby a great bakery / restaurant called Charlie’s Cream. Hotel is clean. Instructions sent to us to get in to the room. We had the kitchen so that was useful. The cafe onsite had a good breakfast - pancakes were an option, eggs, yogurt, espresso, tea. The staff in the cafe were top notch and friendly. Thanks to them especially.

Sound carries pretty well in the containers - which shouldn’t be a problem with most residents who are considerate, but we had a loud person next to us and could clearly hear him talking, playing music and watching television. He was up very early so we didn’t sleep well for two nights. My friendly advice is to make sure all residents understand and agree to quiet hours prior to gaining access to the facility.

The place is awesome, the feel of the rooms is unique and I really like the location. It's fairly well placed and close to a Mall that has restaurants in it. It is also very close to the avenue which is a big plus. The place is also super quiet so even being in the middle of the city, you get a quiet room.

About the only thing I complain is the internet speed & reliability. I only had about 2mbits overall but the issue I've got was the constant reliability problems, where the connection reset itself throughout the day, making work while staying there, difficult.

When we arrived there wasn´t any staff but they left clear instructions to go inside the room so we had no problem. Communication with them was great, always fast and polite to answer. We stayed twice at the hotel, before and after going to San Blas. First room was very small but got everything we needed. Second was bigger with nice kitchen, we liked it a lot. Both of them clean. They allowed us to leave some of our luggage with them so we didn´t have to take everything to San Blas and this was super good. When coming back from San Blas our room wasnt ready yet so we went to lunch and as soon as it was ready they let us know so we could do a little bit early check-in.

We arrived late and were not sure if it was possible to drink water from the faucet so we would like to buy some water nearby but didnt find anywhere within walking distance. It would be great if the hotel could leave some drinkable water inside the room or even have a vending machine with water and some other snacks for guests like us. We liked the location but not so many places easy to go walking, better to come with car.

This is our new favorite place to stay in Panama. The entire place is built from shipping containers, which sounded suspicious to me, but we found the inside was very nice in every way. Roomy, tastefully decorated and furnished, comfortable, and complete, very capable kitchen.

The only thing I would improve is the electric heating shower head. While it provided nice warm water instantly, the wiring had junctions just hanging out, violating even the lowest most permissive codes.

This was such a unique experience. We've always been intrigued by the use of containers for living quarters and Nomada has done a great job creating a small but innovative hotel out of shipping containers. We had first seen what a container hotel looks like when we visited the Nomada property in El Valle, Panama. Our room was unsurprisingly compact, yet simply and elegantly furnished. The breakfast, which was included in our rate, was prepared to our preference and was absolutely delicious, as was the coffee. What is also so interesting to see was how streamlined their operation was with very few staff, but they were all friendly and engaging.

Because everything is so compact, it was a little awkward maneuvering around the bathroom door. It would have been more practical if they had installed a pocket door rather than a conventional one. We also had difficulty opening the door to the unit using the video instructions that were sent to us. But eventually we got in just fine.

A new style of eco-friendly impermanent accommodation-shipping containers! The facilities were brand new, top quality and worked well. The A.C was prompt. The water pressure was good and water was hot. Bed comfortable Netflix was very welcome. Good part of Panama and a discreet place to stay. Ana was super friendly on check-in. Excellent for a cheap stopover or secret rendezvous.

The first impression on arrival is that you are entering a carpark. Location of reception should be further inside the complex not in the gate you drive past. Its not clear where to go when you arrive. The graffiti is atmospheric but urban style design of the outdoor location can be improved with lights, barrels, tyres and levels with interconnecting staircase and social areas. The concept of container accommodation is cool but I feel could be made much more interesting. The place needs more personality. Keep it cheap and it will be very popular. I will be back for sure.
