A quiet location not far from Myvatn. Rooms/cabins rather small for two, but very clean and well-equipped. Beds a bit narrow but comfortable. Good breakfast provided in "Breakfast Room" which could be used at other times to make drinks. Black-out shutters available for the light nights. Parking close by. Free wifi.

Check-in a bit confusing. Rooms quite small and not very well sound-proofed.

Great place to hunt for northern lights. Cosy room, although very small. Super hot radiators, which in winter saved our life :). Although the breakfast is in the village, there was a common room opposite our building where there were tables and all necessary kitchen facilities to prepare your own meal or something hot to drink. Very well equipped. We came late at night, the reception was closed, but the room key was left for us plus directions to the room. Breakfast in the village restaurant very nice. The place is right behind the post office (google maps show you a route round the whole village, don't know why).

It was pretty cold in the bathroom (nearly windy close to the floor).

The location, quite , nice view.good breakfast The rooms are actually containers. As it was very hot outside-20 degrees Celsius , the room was very hot when entering, but we let the door and window open and it was ok

The room is small but ok for 1 night if you hqve 2 suitcases. It is a container though, so the price is very high

Location good for attractions but will need a car. The kitchen is good for tea coffee but there is no access to a fridge. Breakfast was fine. Loved the pancakes. Tip ... go to the Jardbodin spa and eat there. Lovely way to end day.

Small room. No fridge and no access to one. Insects bad ... but that is everywhere.

A very nice room, however small it was The beds were fine The bathroom was fine We were allowed to use the shared kitchen, and it was a great experience. The location is great and beautiful, in the center of a giant lava field. Staff members were very kind and helpful. we paid extra for laundry. the parking was in front the room door. we were very happy from everything.

We were in one room of a four room cabin complex. The view was lovely, the location was good and the breakfast was excellent.

The room was very small. It was difficult to walk around the room with two people inside. It was also a bit warm facing the sun, and with no screens on the windows you couldn’t open them with the bugs. It tried to be accommodating, but the unusually warm day made it uncomfortable.

The location is beautiful.and close to.all the mayor attractions and restaurants. The room was cute. I like the windows, and it's blinds. It also had an outside table and chair. You have good coffee and tea at all times and the breakfast came with a view of a lava field.

That it was too short

Everything was clean. We requested extra pillows & they brought them to us. The breakfast was nice. Everything was exactly as stated online. It was kind of cool to be next to old lava flow.

The space is very small. There’s not room to unpack or hang anything.

Great location and clean. Large and excellent breakfast.

Walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbours (we put on an app to play “rain” and that cancelled out our neighbour’s snore). Breakfast area where you dish up is a bit small/cramped, especially as everyone wants to have breakfast as soon as it is available to get on the road. A spaced area would be better. Kettle is taken away with breakfast as there is no space and need to ask the staff for boiled water for tea. No dustbin in room, only small one in loo.

The absolute best place that we stayed on our trip to Iceland. We had one of the smaller room cabins with a great view over the lava fields, the room was impeccable, cozy and clean. The windows could be blocked with outdoor curtains which were super great for the unending summer days in Iceland. The receptionist was very sweet and made us feel welcome. They also have a laundry service which we used and it was so great on our long trip to have nice clean clothes again. The breakfast was lavish with newly baked croissants, pancakes and lots to choose from. The tea/breakfast room was open for use for all BnB guests and it was nice to have an area that you could read books/write letters/play cards in.

The signage to find the check in/reception building was a bit confusing.
