Incredible location right on the beach and also a very close drive to restaurants. View was fantastic and it was a simple walk down the stairs to get to the beach. Beach chairs (2) provided. Beach umbrella available from desk upon request. Bed and sofabed were extremely comfortable. Beautiful pool. Very accommodating for our late check-in and early check-out. Easy parking. Hard to find something not to like.

Bring your own beach towels- website said these were included, but they were not available. Certainly not a dealbreaker- but do come prepared!

Tuckaway Shores was a wonderful place to spend NYE! We wanted something quiet but fun on the beach, and it fit the bill exactly. The hotel and rooms have '60s(?) charm and an "old Florida" vibe, but everything is spotlessly clean and comfortable, and all amenities are modern. The suite was right-sized for two and had an excellent kitchen area, though the balcony overlooking the beach was the star of the ensemble. (Worth noting: This stretch of Melbourne Beach is quiet and pristine!) Staff take evident pride in the property - thanks for your warm welcome, flexibility and making our evening memorable!

I was surprised that our room with 1 queen bed had a full refrigerator, two stove burner, microwave and coffee pot. When we booked it said there was only a microwave and mini fridge. We were looking for an efficiency when we booked and were unable to find one. This was just an added plus. The staff were friendly and available for anything you needed. The grounds were immaculate and well maintained. The room was spotless when we arrived and even had a cozy sitting room. It had easy beach access and a nice pool. It was a very relaxing trip, and I will be visiting there as often as I can.

The staff was very friendly. The location was wonderful, with beach access! Property was clean! I like the fact that they provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels for guest use. The balcony for our room was not one that you could walk out onto, but instead had a sliding door with balcony rails, so the whole living room became the balcony; that was different but we kinda enjoyed it!

No elevator, which is not a big deal to us but for someone elderly it would be a good idea to stay on the first floor.

The beach was so much fun. Kids loved it. It was amazing to open the sliding door and see and hear the waves. Loved the info about the turtles. Location of the place was perfect. Close to the beach and down the road from the stores. Everything was amazing. Specially the staff, they were really nice. Being as far away from home as we were (23 hrs drive) they made us feel like home. We 10000000% recommend staying there.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like. We wished we would have spent the whole vacation there instead of staying at a place before we stayed at this resort.

We are so glad we found Tuckaway Shores. Easy to find, short drive to great restaurants and shopping, beachy/modern rooms & very clean, staff was amazing. BUT the best part was the view! You won’t find better. We stayed on the third floor and so glad we did. The entire back, ocean facing wall, was a retractable slider which allowed for unobstructed view of the ocean. It was just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely stay again! Thank you Tuckaway!

No reason

The location is unbeatable - walking out your door to be at the ocean. It's in a quieter/calmer part of town. The parking situation is great. The room had everything we needed. The best part of the experience was the two chairs placed on the patio outside our back door so we could drink coffee facing the ocean in the morning. The kitchenette was also great. What a find!! I hope to come back next year.

Some would find the furniture and decor to be dated, but that is less important to us. Also, we couldn't use the air conditioner when we were there, but luckily we didn't need it because it wasn't too hot -- and it prompted us to open the windows at night, which was better anyway because then we could hear the waves!

Room was perfect right on the beach with a balcony over looking the sea and perfect sized kitchen for when we wanted to cook, all the staff where extremely friendly could not do enough for us made us feel very welcome. The hotel provided chairs and beach umbrella's at no cost this was fantastic even though we where on the beach there was still a pool at the hotel that was super clean and well maintained, there are shops and restaurants 5 mins down the road, could not say enough nice things about our stay here will definitely be back to stay again.

There was nothing we did not like about the hotel everything was perfect could not have asked for anything better for the amount we had spent

This is a darling "boutique" like hotel right on the ocean. Strongly suggest the option of ocean front room on the second floor. Fantastic views of the ocean, waves and people watching. Enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise or a glass of wine and watch the changing skies at sunset! You can't beat it for proximity to the water and close enough to town for shopping and restaurants. Very clean and the rooms are nicely accommodating. Kitchen had all of the needed items and they were in good condition. Bed is very comfortable and love the amenities of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and soaps.

This is the third time we've stayed here and the first time we notice that that our room was a bit run down. One of the drawers in the built-ins in the bedroom was broken. Not a huge deal and we will easily stay here again!

Location was great..your staff when i checked in was wonderful, my parents love the place and the location. It made them feel like home but in vacay. When i was living the guy was there very pleasant. I wish i could get the names of both, but next time cuz were going back definitely. Thank you it was a great weekend with my daughter and parents. ❤
