Breakfast and staff, perfect. All staff where very nice. Very clean place. Great location for gay bars, train station, Peeka Booze, Mar Kelly's, and Funny Girls... fun place to call into, great music and energy. Even if i didnt stay here, then would be definitely popping in, drag act and DJ played great music. More for over 30's and upwards. No judgment on anyone...

Tiny Room, No mattress protector on bed ( small detail I no) towels wer far to small for anyone, i am a thin person as well.you can ask for bigger towels, but a standard towel should be provided. The biggest let down was the price, nearly £100 for small tiny basic room. Other guest houses/ hotels in same street and 2 seconds around the corner, alot cheaper, nearly half price. I dont even know how the price was justified. Unfortunately my friend had already booked this hotel before looking around. I have stayed at the other places very near, only charging £60 Inc breakfast, and there was nothing offered any different at Mardi Gras to charge the price they did.

after my girlfriend went the other year with her friends she said what a great time she had. Being a straight male with my girlfriend I was a little ermmm but what can I say I have never had so much fun in my life. I have been to drag acts the funny girls absolutely fantastic and the hotel you couldn’t ask for more everyone was lovely and so friendly. Would I go again 100 percent yes loved every minute and the beer £2.60 a pint seriously straight or gay this place is amazing and Thankyou everyone for having us

It’s in the heart of the action. Situated on Lord Street, the gay venues are all within a 5 min walking distance. A very short walk to the sea front for the delights of the promenade and all the major attractions and shopping. Very convenient for Blackpool North station if travelling by train. Clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast. There’s plenty of entertainment provided in the pub. I enjoyed some fantastic cabaret and a bit of karaoke during my visit. Was a hoot! The staff are tremendous. Nothing is too much trouble and always someone available to assist. Thank you so much for a brilliant stay I will be back!

Not a thing. I booked very last minute so was in a twin room due to availability so I hope to try out a double on my next visit.

John and the Mardi Gras Team were absolutely amazing! Couldn't do enough for you and all were so polite and approachable. The room was very comfortable and the hotel's location was perfect for easy access to Blackpool's attractions and gay night life. Plenty of choice for breakfast making it great value for money. Great shows every night and a great sense of community and atmosphere! Keep up the great work guys and will definitely be back in the near future!

I stayed at the Mardi Gras with my Yorkie "TOBY" and it was for my 60th Birthday and from walking through the door, I was greeted by friendly staff and helped to my room with my luggage. The ensuite room was very clean, had brewing facilities, fridge, ironing board & Iron, Nice clean lining, comfortable bed good night sleep. Lovely helpful staff, Great entertainment and a great bar with very reasonable priced drinks. Lovely Breakfast nice selection.

John and his team here are the most amazing people I have ever met! I felt immediately welcome from the moment I arrived, and soon after I feel I became part of a perfect family. I feel like I have known John for years after just 4 days. The place is filled with John's personality which really is testament to him and his amazing establishment. I cant wait for my next visit! The location.Nice big airy room.Comfortable bed&pillows.Staff were really nice.Lovely breakfast and the 2 young girls cooking and serving are a credit to the Mardi Gras

I know there is entertainment but maybe at least a couple of hours mid afternoon so that residents can relax without the boom boom beat of the music from the bar area.

Staff excellent, fellow stayers and bar visitors good. Made ourselves and our two miniature cockapoos more than welcome. All in all great.

If we stay here again we wouldn't like the room above the bar as there is too much noise for the dogs. Big one, the breakfast although excellent could have been hotter, maybe I should've said at the time. Again all in all great.

The staff were amazing especially the owners. So welcoming and friendly. Bar area was fabulous with great drinks and unbeatable prices. Great entertainment too. Breakfast was great fast service and proper full English. Room was clean and comfortable

The room facilities needed a refurb. Bathroom was very small. Ok for a few nights but old and tied. As fleets the room fire door and the internal bathroom door.

Great hotel, very friendly owners and we were made to feel welcome. The bar downstairs is great and was very lively which was nice to see. Great location for touring the lgbtq+ bars which are all really local. It feels like the rooms are been renovated and downstairs looked great.

Nothing really. I think the room may need a little refresh but looks like that is already happening
