Breakfast was excellent with many options even vegan, the room was well organized and clean, there was no noise which was great. the location is quite good in the middle of the city, there is easy access to public transportation and touristy places.

The staff was excellent but there was one lady, blond curly hair she was on duty when we leave the hotel around 2pm on the 29th of July, my mom only speaks Spanish and she approach her to ask for help because the key was not working to call the elevator, when my mom ask for help she just shrugged, she did this twice, not even a peep, my mom ask me to speak with her in English and then she say "I understood " which was even worst because it means she just did not care to help or even answer. Overall we will say this was a 9/10 experience not 10 because of her.

Trendy hotel, great location, super friendly staff

Very, very expensive rooms, small rooms (not even closet space or coffee maker in $700 room!!) - and the rooftop that gets advertised heavily was fully booked all 3 nights that I stayed there so couldn’t even enjoy it 😡

I had an amazing stay at Arlo Hotel in NY. The location was simply unbeatable, with everything I wanted to see and do within walking distance. The hotel was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The rooftop bar was a highlight, offering a great place to have fun and meet amazing people. They invite a famous DJ, Frank, who plays there every week. His performances alone make it worth visiting this hotel. The staff, especially the reception guys Eric and Dan, were outstanding and went out of their way to be helpful.

The only downside was that the room was a bit too small, but I knew this from the description before booking. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Great staff, fab location, rooms are small but perfectly formed. Cocktail lounge was lovely and the communication with guests throughout the Stay was excellent. Rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard, and the bed was very comfortable. I would reccomed this hotel.

Would have liked a kettle in the room to make a hot drink. 5 dollars for an English tea in the reception area was extremely expensive, given that the tea was simply awful and undrinkable..

We love love loved it! The room was so tiny, but but we had a terrace which was absolutely fantastic and the reason we booked this hotel. The novelty of an outdoor shower looking out over Manhattan, was just so much fun. A genius feature! Especially since it was a heatwave, that shower was a godsend after a roasting morning rampaging around the city... and we loved hanging out, sunbathing, yoga and sundowners on that terrace.🌠🌌🍸🍸🌃🏙🌆🌇🤸🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️ Even though the room is tiny, it is very well designed and perfectly formed, with everything you need. We had twin beds as 2 friends sharing and it was comfortable actually. Beds and bedding were very good. The hotel is all well designed, stylish and relaxed yet buzzy. The f&b offerings were good, lovely roof top bar with a great vibe, and good vegan options too! Barista in the lobby was an important touch (in lieu of in-room kettle etc) for those morning coffee needs. Everything was super clean, and it smelled great... that signature scent was really giving ;) 👌🏾 The location is handy for everything in the lower manhattan area and we found it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Thank you Arlo Soho for a wonderful stay! 💝🌹 I would definitely come again, especially in the warmer months. :)))

Nothing really... can't complain, it was a magical stay we had.

I have just returned from an incredible stay at the Arlo SoHo. I travelled for work for the first 4 days, holding day and evening events in the Studios on the 2nd floor of the Arlo SoHo, and then I had 4 days of fun, exploring the city with my husband who flew out to join me. Everything about the hotel is so lovely, I’ve had the BEST time! Walking in to the hotel was always such a delightful experience! From being greeted on the door, to the fresh smell, cool air and cleanliness, it was a great place to be. The rooms are clean, with super comfy beds, and the bathrooms were really good. I felt snug and safe in my room. The food in the hotel is excellent. Breakfast at Lindens is wonderful. I also had excellent coffees from the café in the lobby, as well as yoghurt/granola, and croissants/snacks when I didn’t fancy a fuller breakfast. The lobby café is open 24/7 which is really excellent when up and about at unusual times with jetlag and travel. The rooftop bar is gorgeous, and the speakeasy in the lobby is also really beautiful to sit in and have a drink. The location is perfect for exploring Manhattan, just a few minutes walk to the river and a couple of different subways. It’s clean, interesting and I felt very safe walking around. It’s very easy to walk to loads of places, and I walked to the West Village, Greenwich, Meatpacking District and the Financial District. Every single person there was so friendly and helpful. I had many enjoyable conversations with the Arlo folks, and felt sad to be leaving. I’d love to mention Bersalia, Ivan and Moises at the front of house. Wonderful people! Also to the lovely man who works in the lobby café bar. We spoke a number of times, I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name. Every single person at the Arlo Soho has been excellent to meet. Thanks to you all – my time in New York was so good and I can’t wait to return at some point!

The room was small, but spotlessly clean, beautiful and well appointed. The location is great, it was very easy for us to find the stores and restaurants we were looking for. Added breakfast to my booking and it was FANTASTIC! The lobby smelled amazing! The hotel & Lindens staff were lovely!

Air vent in the room was noisy. It was a Saturday night and guests in our hallway were loud getting in after 2am when the rooftop bar closed. The rooftop bar has an awesome city view, but we didn't want a table for food or to run a tab, so we were told we couldn't sit anywhere but at the bar (totally understandable). The staff kept an uncomfortable eye on us, as we walked around and took pictures, to make sure we didn't sit at any of the tables.

The location is perfect if you, like us, prefer to avoid Midtown. The staff were all lovely. Hotel decor and rooms are nice. I do understand that the bathroom situation (glass partition wall) is not for everyone, but you know what to expect before you book. We had breakfast at Lindens included in our rate, and it was amazing! I've already recommended the hotel to friends.

We only had one hot and sunny day, but there was a big queue to the lifts in the afternoon as external guests use them as well to get to the rooftop bar. Not great when you check in after a long flight and want to get to your room and still have to queue for the lift. We were lucky with our room location, but others may be right below the rooftop bar so probably earplugs might be needed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful Very nice atmosphere at the hotel Great small food/drink shop in reception Lovely rooftop bar (which doesn't disturb noise in your room) Smooth check in and check out experience Loved the location, short walk to Soho and the West Village and lots of subway stations nearby Small and compact room, but everything we needed in there

Rooms are small - but not a surprise as can see from the photos, measurements etc Air con in the room is really noisy, kept turning on and off and waking me up during the night Cleaners seemed to congregate outside our room so also disturbed our sleep Have read other reviews saying the floor is dirty and do have to agree, but I might have been looking for it after seeing other reviews. Was really dusty

Perfect location, close to all the excitement of the West Village but in a quieter (and not so hectic) area, with easy access to subway stations and some lovely cafes. The room and furniture had a beautiful, modern, clean design, and the beds were extremely comfortable. While the room itself was quite small, this is normal for many hotels in New York, and it was the perfect room to collapse in after a massive day of taking in the city. The rooftop bar and other hotel facilities were beautiful, and our room also had a decent view. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating, particularly Danny and Bersalia, who were an absolute delight every day. This hotel was a wonderful base for my first time in New York City, and I would definitely stay here again.

The shower and toilet set-up in the room made things a bit awkward - the toilet and shower stalls faced the beds directly, with a see-through partition and a sliding door (also see-through) that is not designed to fully close. This means that if you're using the shower or toilet, any other guests can pretty much see/hear/smell what's going on in there. I'm sure this would fine for certain guests travelling together, however my friend and I needed a bit more privacy so would occasionally have to vacate the room while the other used the amenities (luckily there were lots of lovely spaces for us to hang out in at the hotel). I also would have loved it if there was an electric kettle with tea and coffee in the room (however I'm not sure if this is a normal feature in American hotel rooms).
