I cannot describe how amazing this place is! Such a gem in the beautiful town of El Cotillo. Everything was perfect (communication, location, cleanliness and help on offer) and the attention to detail from the owners is second to none. The complimentary pastries in the morning is such a thoughtful idea as it saves you time and you can relax with breakfast in your room, or take them with you if you are heading out early. The decor is incredible and influenced by Moroccan riad's (again with the attention to detail). This extends to the roof terrace which is just the perfect place of serenity. The location is excellent as it's only a couple of minutes walk to the center of Cotillo and the same to the beaches, but far enough away for it to be a peaceful, quite spot. It's also in a great location if you're looking to rent bikes/boards etc (close to the best places) The owners are on hand to suggest all the best places, but this is not done in an intrusive way, they are there if you need them. If there was an option to give 11 out of 10 - I would! This place is just magical! The atmosphere, the interior, the roof terrace with the jacuzzi, the coffee and tea in the room and the croissant with fruit in the morning.. oh and the bed! You can just tell that they care about this place. Monica was so kind, we could check in earlier, gave us lots of information (we've already been to Fuerteventura and El Cotillo, but still so much to discover) and always available. It was also my birthday, and she organised a small bottle of cava and chocolate easter eggs, I mean how can you not fall in love with this place and the owners. Absolutely nothing!

Our host was just great. We got many perfect tips for our overall stay in the island. The roof terrace was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. No problem to park the car any time in front of the hotel.

As there was no air conditioning everybody slept with a window opened to the common yard. So, in the morning we were asked to keep maximum silence till 10 a.m. which we did not always succeed in. As understandable as it is to show respect to other guests it caused us some funny moments :-)

Our stay in El Hotelito can be described in just one word : Charming. The room is big enough, very nice decorated, extremely clean. Monica is the best host I ever met, she contacted us in advance to have the room ready on time, she gave us the best tips about the surroundings and even for our next trip in Lanzarote. Everything that she recommended us was a total success(restaurants, bars, beaches, trekking routes). The complimentary croissants and fruits were such a nice surprise. We will come back for sure because we didn’t get to enjoy the jacuzzi.

The hotel looked just like the pictures, the room was big and in a good state. Everything felt really cared for and both the room as well as the communal spaces like the roof terrace were clean and spacious. If you want to rent a bike to explore the area they provide you with a space where you can store your bike during your stay. The host Monica is very kind and every morning she has prepared a breakfast bag for you with croissants or muffins and fresh fruit. She will gladly help you if you have any questions about the area and she can assist you with finding transport back to the airport. If you enjoy a quiet hotel that feels luxurious but is still affordable I would definitely recommend it!

There was nothing I did not like about the room or the hotel. There was a short power outage in the whole city of El Cotillo but luckily the hotel had provided emergency lights in the room and had contacted me if everything was alright.

Fantastic accomodation! Super cosy beautiful little riad, adorable roof top terrace, very personal approach to guests by the owner Monica & staff, you feel very welcomed and geniunely taken care of. I got lots of fantastic tips from Monica for the rest of the island and even for Lanzarote. Thanks a lot for making my stay so special!

As it is set up as a riad, your windows face a little inneryard and subsequently the window of the oppsite room. The windows have curtains, and there is a strict quiet hours policy, but you still hear every word of what the others are saying even if they are not particularly loud. Not a big deal for me, but it’s good to keep it in mind ;)

Everything has been super nice! Monica is the sweetest, she has been super available all the time and gave us many suggestions. The room was very cute and clean, but i should admit, my favorite part was the jacuzzi, after a super windy day, ending the day with the warm water of jacuzzi was a blast! The location was great, only few minutes of walking and you are in the center with many restaurants around. Overall i have nothing to complain about, we both were very happy with our choice! 🙌🏻

- cosy and lovely interior - el hotelito got only 4 rooms. so we felt very comfortable and you have a lot of privacy - Great Location ( the village has a authentic atmosphere and a lot of little restaurants) - clean - provided towels and beach towels - nice whirlpool on the rooftop - fresh croissants every morning as courtesy from the owner, as well as tea and coffee. - rooms equipped with a small fridge, a small Safeand a hairdryer - there is a common room where you can hang your laundry or dry your bathing suits -there are no private parking spaces but it was easy to park your car on the streets in front of the hotel for free - Monica the host is very welcoming and friendly. she gave us a lot of advice about places to eat or things to do in the area and was always there if we needed something.

We loved this hotel, it is beautifully decorated and feels so relaxing. The roof terrace with hot tub is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our croissant and fruit provided by the hotel on the roof terrace each morning. Monica was so helpful and provided us with so many recommendations to help us explore this amazing place. We can’t wait to return in the future.

Nothing to dislike, everything was perfect.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the village. Monica was very helpful with lots of tips about where to go and what to see on the island. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom spotlessly clean. The upstairs sun bathing area was great. There is also a drying room for wet towels etc.

The only drawback is that due to the layout the rooms are very close, and you can hear your neighbours, or perhaps we were just unlucky and had particularly noisy neighbours! The lack of a fan or ac could be an issue later in the year, we were there in April and it was already pretty warm at night.
