I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable & spacious & had a wardrobe with lots of hangers - a rarity in budget hotels! There there was constant hot water in the bathroom. It’s a family run hotel & the owners are kind, friendly & helpful. A very good breakfast is available & I have a gluten intolerance so an excellent gluten free breakfast was made for me. The hotel is on a quiet street in a nice neighbourhood & is very reasonably priced. It’s a little way out from the centre but buses from nearby go into the centre. It’s also very near an excellent restaurant which the owner recommend to me.

Very good location in a nice neighborhood near some of the embassies. We walked to Macedonia Square in about 25 minutes. We got triple rooms which were quite spacious. Overall, the hotel is cosy. There is a very good kruchma (local restaurant) nearby, called Krchma Restaurant - do not expect anything fancy, but the prices are very low, the portions are huge and it's very tasty.

It was a big inconvenience that we had to pay cash even though they have a POS terminal. Everyone from the staff was nice and friendly but still they asked us to pay cash because it was the end of the year?! Also, the bathrooms don't lock and there were some spots there that were not entirely clean.

Nice, quiet neighborhood. The owners of the hotel were extremely nice and friendly! ☺️ (Lady made a coffee for me, and I had very interesting conversation with the gentleman (probably her husband) about politics, economy and history. The room was big, clean, with a very large and comfortable bed and a private toilet. The price was really reasonable - the ratio of price and quality was absolutely perfect.

I didn't have any issues. I could say that the localisation was quite far away from the city centre, but that wasn't a problem for me. I was walking a lot or using a very cheap public transport:)

As always, the accommodation was perfect. It is a very good value for money, family hotel, the owners are very friendly, they are looking for help in everything. The room was fully equipped and air-conditioned. I asked for breakfast, which was very varied and buffet style. There was an opportunity for an airport transfer, the owner will take me out at dawn for my departing flight. Thank you for everything!

It wasn't like that!

The breakfast was not elaborate but adequate. The staff is very nice and helpful and will serve well. The area around has many parking space so no problem for parking. There is also a very nice restaurant to taste local food within 2 mins walking distance.

It didn't have a lift and so carrying heavy luggage is a pain. The room had a glass pane which would let sunlight in, which is good, but very annoying when you want sleep a bit late during a holiday. As there is no way to cover that space the light would flood the room and would just mess up our morning sleep. We went in summer and so we would literally wake up at 6.30 am. Who wants to wake up at 6.30 in the morning on a holiday (not me :()

Hotel offers taxi pick up which was excellent as my flight landed midnight and hotel owner personally did pick up. Hotel in quiet location close to shop and supermarket. Breakfast was excellent owner personally cooked omlette with cows cheese I would recommend this. Room was clean and exactly what you want for your stay.

Comfortable beds. Facillities in our room, AC, water kettle, fridge. Clean bed linnen and towels. Great breakfast at a small fee. Free parking right in front. Quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff!

Location was a bit far from centre but it was not a big deal since we were there by car. The room same as the hotel could be freshed up a bit. We did not have enough drawers to unpack so we just had to keep our clothes in the suitcases or use the table and chairs to keep our clothes.

Clean room with fresh smell, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, free parking with enough parking places in the area, coffee in the morning.

Hotel Kapistec use to had a memorable buffet breakfast included in the room's rate. Something happened. Now breakfast is continental and only extra for 6 euro/person - high price for Skopje. And you have to order it in the evening before. However, there was no breakfast the morning after checkin. Maybe because it was Saturday, or maybe because nobody ordered it.

The room I stayed in from July 22-July 25, 2022, with my daughter was a very comfortable room. It had practicaly everything one needs for a short time stay. I was especially impressed with the wood work in the hotel. I was later told by the owner of the hotel that he did all the wood work himself. Not only were bed frames, tables, chairs, floors, made of solid wood, but also many decorations in the hall and on the staircase. I was pleasantly surprised with the kettle they had for boiling water for tea or coffee. Bathroom was clean, bedding was clean. Staff is extremely polite and assisting, e.g. I asked for extra pillows and was immediately provided with fresh and clean pillows. The room felt comfy, cozy and homey. I would definitely recommend hotel "Kapishtec" to everyone planning to stay in Skopje. The people who run it, know their business and what they are doing!

Nothing I can think of. Perhaps occasional smell that comes back from piping in the bathroom. Other than that, nothing else.

The price, the friendliness of the staff, TV in room with loads of channels including sports plus other premium channels, kettle in the room, fridge in the room, quiet environment and there's a big supermarket just about 5 minutes walk away

The bathroom is very small; a very big person might struggle
