The rooms were above the bar/pub, which was so welcoming when you first walk in. It was casual but neat, with nice lighting and overall it was spacious. The rooms itself were large, and the bed was ridiculously comfy. The window in the room was large and let in beautiful light which didn’t make the room feel dark, it was just a quaint - simplistic room that served its purpose whilst feeling comfortable

saying I didn’t like something would feel harsh due to its practicality, and coziness. You’re getting what you paid for, it was a little drafty due to the old windows, but they supplied the right heating. There was not much to dislike at all

It was a good price for the location, close to docklands. The kitchenette was a bonus even though I didn't use it. The inclusion of a fan heater was good, but would have been even better if the fan/cooling function was better. The staff member I met was really friendly and made me feel welcome. Best part of my stay is that it was quiet as the pub closes at 10 during the week.

The in pipe on the toilet was leaky and constantly dripping into a jug. Obviously been a problem for a while as the jug had a label on it saying not to move. I have no real complaints based on the price I paid and would certainly stay there again if I'm in the area.

Great location and price was incredible! Great location, easy transport links, bar staff were wonderful. Room was perfect for the price, can't complain. Despite some of the cons listed below, I would absolutely stay here again - and Tony who checked me in and chatted for a bit was great. Room was clean, can't really ask for much else tbf. The pub itself is also very nice

The bed OH MY GOD it was the squeakiest thing I've ever slept on, I was scared to move in case it annoyed others in the next rooms. Cleaner told me to get out at 10.50 am because she would get shouted at by the boss, even though I'd messaged before and asked for late check out for 11.30 which I was told would be okay. There was a dirty sponge in the room by the sink. Also lack of toilet roll in the shared bathroom!

The location was near the 02 arena , and the staff were lovely and very accommodating, great food downstairs for lunch or dinner , stayed in the on suite room , reasonably priced for myself as down for a concert

It’s a wee bit dated it’s grade 2 listed building , but beds are spotless and you have tea making facilities and microwave, and fridge , bring milk & tea and there’s a Tesco direst round the corner and cafe and other shops ,

Great find, super friendly staff at the location, would highly recommend if your looking for something a bit cheaper than a travel lodge and a really comfortable stay. Lovely bar, only had drinks there but the food looked and smelt good. Used this as a base for seeing Peter Kay at the 02. It’s about 10-15 min walk from nearest underground and cost £10 getting an Uber to the 02. Great base if your seeing something at the 02, will be booking again

The stuff running this place are good people, friendly, helpful. Good food to order from the bar downstairs. Not far from Canary wharf, cool place to see while in London. Affordable and cozy room with shared bathroom.

The walls are very thin. You hear everything. The neighbourhood is not the best... But ok..

Highly Recommend! The guesthouse is value for money for low budget traveller and I think the room look better than the picture on website. I stay at the guesthouse for 9 nights and I really happy with everything in this place. Very clean and comfortable room. In the room has all basic facilities that you can start your London trip immediately such as hair dryer, shower gel & shampoo, towels, fridge, microwave and the other tools in the mini kitchen and that all good condition. The Location a little bit far from London central but easily accessible by transportation. Bus (short walk about 300 ft) and DLR Blackwall (300 m) and Canary wharf station (900 m). You can get into the London central around 20 mins. Nice Neighborhood. There are closed to Tesco express, restaurants and convenience shops. The owner Alex and staff are friendly and helpful. If I’m going to London again, I will book at this place again too😄

No elevator and street noise.

The location was really easy to get to following google maps, and easy to travel to and from the O2 arena as it is quite close. Both gentleman named Alex were very nice and helpful when I spoke to them, really pleased with my stay! :)

The sound of traffic outside is quite loud at night but that’s no fault of their own as you will find that in any city, just something to be aware of I suppose. But I can’t really fault my stay here for the price and helpfulness of the host and other members of staff I met.

The host/owner was really kind and considerate to message and update us on the check-in time and even let us stay for few more hours after the check-out time (because we arrived pretty late). The location was a bit far from the city but easy to reach. We took the underground (District line) and a D6/D7/D8 bus, which stopped right at the junction near the guesthouse (2-3 mins walk). We loved everything about the room; it has all the basic stuffs from microwave, kettle, plates, glasses, TV, and even hair dryer. The bathroom was fairly nice, it comes with hot shower and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were also clean towels, sheets, and blanket, which we were absolutely grateful for. And the bed, don’t get me started. It was so comfortable we had troubles waking up the next morning! The location was perfect for a long stay, there’s a Tesco express, Halal food options, etc. just 2 mins away from the guesthouse. 3 bus stops nearby, so it’s pretty easy to get to anywhere in London from here. This will definitely be our go-to accommodation the next time we’re in London.

The guesthouse didn't have an elevator and the stairs are quite steep, probably not suitable for families with little ones, elderly, or large suitcases. But we're cool with it.
