The room was excellent, really well presented, and the locks to get in etc. worked a treat. One very small point was there were no teaspoons in the room (I did say it was a small point!).

I appreciate that this is something outside your control but I found the music emanating from the pub below a bit tiresome - I could say that I heard nothing that suggested there was a pub below us APART from the 'thump' pf the base coming through the floor. I realise that there's nothing you can do about this but I did note that it didn't seem to finish until about 1.00am ans I also reaslie that the night we stayed was a Saturday.

My husband and I were flying into Manchester airport before embarking on a 10-day pilgrimage of Christian ruins. We would be staying in student lodging at Durham University so my goal was to find a place near Manchester airport where we could rest up from our journey and have some really good 'sleeps' (on a really high-quality mattress with terrific linens.) The Silk Rooms delivered IN FULL!! Gorgeous modern space (we had room #6), that could be fully darkened in the daylight, helping us catch up on some lost sleep. Remote access, so we didn't meet any staff, but fresh towels and 'biscuits' were delivered daily. Knutsford, by the way, is a plush, charming English town with fantastic shops and restaurants. We could walk to the all from The Silk Rooms. Would return in a heart-beat.

Lovely decor, comfortable bed, excellent location.

Although the property was lovely, clean and in a good location it was extensively overpriced considering it is electronic check in, no breakfast or option to add on a breakfast and no parking included. Although nicely decorated, the facilities were pretty basic. There was nothing above and beyond what you would expect to find in any accommodation to reflect the price- the lack of refreshments (we only had two sachets of milk, one teabag and not enough coffee for the length of our stay) was an oversight.

Location was brilliant, car park right outside the property. Beautiful room, big and comfy bed. Easy access with the pin so you don't need to worry about the key or key card. Gorgeous décor, loved the room being all the same colour and just lovely space. Because of the style of the property, you could hear other guests coming in or walking (we were the top floor of the property but bottom to the couple of other rooms). It was like being in the same house with other people but in separate, secure rooms. Which didn't bother us too much, just something to be aware of.

All the comments are of very minor things that did not spoil our stay. Coffee pods didn't work even though we have followed the instructions, we would end up with just hot water in a cup. It wasn't as pristine clean as I would like it to be, bit dusty in places but nothing major. Door to the bathroom would not close properly unless you really pushed it with strength which then created a noise and wasn't ideal if you wanted to use the toilet at night.

Rooms really well appointed and comfortable. Easy to find and access. Would book again!

Only issue we had was that we didn’t realise the market was on (every first Sunday of the month) and the signage was not clear in the public car park. Our car was blocked in so we couldn’t leave Knutsford until 1600 that afternoon. I’m not sure if I missed a notification but even though it’s not the properties problem it might be worth notifying customers if the book the Saturday night.

Ideally located to visit family. Easy entry codes. Decent shower

The bedroom was very dark with poor lighting even at 0900 , this was July, goodness what it would be like in winter. Hot… We had read reviews about the lack of air so we brought our Dyson air blade with us. Thank goodness, even although the weather was damp and mild the room was hot and stuffy. A shelf/rack in the bathroom would be helpful under the tiny sink. Soundproofing- we could hear our neighbours sneezing / running the coffee machine/ alarm clock (at 0500) Parking outside is ideal if you only want 4hrs. If your are staying more than one night it will be an issue.

The location was good - central Knutsford. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with most of what was needed. The online information and self check-in was very clear, informative and efficient.

Very comfortable stay. A couple of minor niggles / suggestions: The pub was not open and so no onsite access to breakfast / dinner which is fine as there are plenty of options locally but this was only communicated after the booking was made. A fridge in the room with some bottled water would have been good. The stairs to room 4 were very steep - it would be a struggle with a heavy case. The car park opposite has a maximum stay of 4 hours in the day Mon-Sat so if you are planning to stay local all day you would need to find alternative spot to park

Decor and comfort of the room was great and the bathroom was very good. The location is also great being close to restaurants and Tatton Park.

Very noisy with people leaving the pub up to 12am and then the aircraft noise woke me at 6am. The lack of breakfast and no car park made it expensive just for a room with no other facilities

Beautiful rooms, and great facilities within the rooms. The finish is excellent and feels special. The location is brilliant.

There was a dirty bowl and a coffee pod in the machine from another previous guest. The neighbour (from the flats) were playing music incredibly loudly and woke me up, and as it’s in the airport flight path this was noisy too. Then I was woken up at 6am by bins being emptied and general noise by the car park. Air con might be good investment so you don’t have to have the windows open when outside is so noisy. It would be helpful to know the car park outside the rooms is pay and display and short stay (max 4 hours) which I didn’t find information on before arriving.
